As a Volvo fan, I'd like to see the 2.3 T5 (R) engine and its 2.5L history with Ford! How the Yamaha 4.4 V8 (Volvo / Noble) came about would also be interesting!
As a 2.5NA owner I'd love to see more about it, the B52 series is so under-rated when it comes to a great engine with so much potential since it works with an Aisin gearbox from the factory. The early 2000's Volvos may not seem like potential hot rods but the internals say otherwise since the gearbox would allow swaps with Alfa engines.
Last summer i saw one hitting the fence on autobahn near Koln. I felt him passing by like great part of automotive history. What a fine piece of deadly machinery.

0:54 Footwork didn't just "decide" to use a Mugen-Honda unit. The Porsche V12 was a complete failure - overweight, underpowered and uncompetitive. At the same time, Porsche was also developing the V10 for the following year, but it also was turning out in a similar vein. Porsche then withdrew from F1 as an engine manufacturer mid-1991, and Arrows/Footwork settled on the old Cosworth DFR V8 engine for the remainder of the season (partly because it wouldn't require a complete chassis rebuild to fit it in.) It wasn't until 1992 that they got the Mugen engine - itself being based on Tyrrell's 1990-spec Honda V10. They'd have happily stayed with Porsche, if only it would have resulted in a supply of competitive engines.
