Congratulation Ribbon! Australian Shepherds are incredibly smart. They are amazing herding dogs even as pets. Our Aussie used to wrangle our toddler in a amusing way.

Isn't Westminister in June? My border collies breeder got an invitation but she never went yet..
As an owner of a double Merle Aussie that is deaf and partially blind, I wish people didn't look at dogs so vainly. Some breeders like to play God. There is a huge rescue where I live and all they have are double merle aussies which sone are eescued from being euthanized just because they're deaf and or blind.

I'll tell ya, there just isn't a better looking dog than the beauceron. Sad to see these GSDs continued to be bred and shown with sloped backs. Poor judging, imo.
Sad to see the state of USA breeding. Look back 50 years at pictures of working dogs and half the breeds are horrible looking now, could not do what they are here for. Bred for looks only. The AKC has been terrible for most breeds.
I got my Aussie baby from two champ bloodlines. She is top tier looks and performance and has almost a front facing slope compared to back slope. Some breeders just loose sight of the abilities they should be pursuing :(
