- Insurgency Sandstorm, a game I enjoy so much that today we're going to ramble about it. Hopefully in a way that actually makes sense. Seriously this game beats a lot of stuff that came out in 2018 in my opinion.

Probably the best and most detailed review of Sandstorm so far. Every other review of this game usually goes "oh yes very realisticcismss guns sounds r gud" and proceed to never touch the game after two weeks.
Such a great game, honestly I'm addicted to it.

Fantastic overview on this game. I think you touched on every point with Sandstorm; where it shines, where it's bugged (minor to game-breaking), its developers' positive track record with fixing bugs (and they have indeed optimized already somewhat, post-release). This game needs more love!

Graphical glitch and frame rate fix: Install on SSD. Run on very high settings EXCEPT: TAA, and change both shadow types to 1024x1024. I also run pic in pic optics settings. 100+frames all day. GTX 1080
Running on a higher setting helps? Interesting

The texture load times although can be dependent on hdd/ssd but first the game tries to load it form the gpu vram and if there is not enough vram after that the system ram and after that the storage.
Been loving this game i have only had the no arms bug but it is performing great. The devs know how to please me with amazing game play and no micro transactions!! Yes you read that correctly, a $30 game with no micro transactions just a raw milsim :)

from one filthy animal to another, i love this game as well. yea servers suck a fat one from time to time but it is miles better than anything out there. biggest problem is that it need more ppl playing.

Ryan Cosgrove i wish that was the case for me. I usually only have one or 2 servers w/ free slots. Then when i try to join it takes forever to connect. But when i do get on it is usually fine other than some occasional rubber banding.

I am a battlefield fan, been playing bf games for over two years. People are really liking this game and i’m just not sure if i should buy it haha! I mean i enjoy my time playing battlefield V but sometimes i just want to try something else. I’ve tried rainbow6 but it wasn’t my thing, gameplay is really slow compared to other games.
I might give insurgency sandstorm a try, but idk what you guys think? Is it possible to have fun playing this game when you are a FOREVER solo player haha!!
It would be kinda hard though you can do it. If RSS is too slow for you though then I think you may not like this game. Pace-wise it is faster than RSS but definitely slower than Battlefield. This is a game where you have to get used to understanding when to sit still and when to charge with your team.
Not that I play like that, I usually enjoy running around the sides to see if I can surprise the enemy at weird positions.

I might give it a try bc as u mentioned in ur video that there is possible to have 16 players per team in some modes, the same amount of players per team u can have in bfv on a tdm or domination servers. This game might be a great balance between RSS and BF. But anyways thanks for helping out.
If you havent tried it is worth the try for sure. I have been bored with r6s and battlefied n this has been filling that void very nicely

No. You need to connect to the internet because although you play against bots, but on your team there are human players. So you still play with human players through the internet.

There is still a local play mode though where you can play by yourself with AI teammates.
But this game is not worth getting if your not playing for the pvp
@@SharockoRAZR You can't even hit the main menu without connecting through online steam it will drop an error message for you. I tried it.
