30 min Yoga for Flexibility Intermediate Level

- This is a 30 minute yoga flow for flexibility. It is tailored for intermediate level. This heart opening vinyasa yoga will feel good while we focus on hip flexor stretches and backbends for intermediate level.
This backbend flow will help us create space through the entire front side of the body, learn to let go of unnecessary tension and to trust the universe as we allow ourselves to dive deeper into the space beyond our vision.
This complete vinyasa yoga practice for flexibility includes full body warm up, targeted stretches for hip flexors, heart opening asanas and unique variations of backbends for intermediate level practitioners.
We will begin by bringing all of our attention towards our breath. Our breath will guide us, it will reveal places of tension and it will teach us how we can learn to surrender. Surrender, let go, release to find strength and power within us.
This is a fluid and smooth flexibility yoga flow for backbends will teach us how to find space and length through the front side of the body. This practice will also include a cool down sequence to rebalance the energy for the health of our spine.
Remember that flexibility takes time and regular practice. So be mindful of every movement and stretch, let go of any goals and expectations and only go as deep into each pose as your body is willing to do it today. You can repeat this yoga practice as often as it feels necessary for your body.
No equipment is necessary for this practice. Do your best, stay patient and grateful for all the change you are creating.

What a beautiful beautiful setting, Marina! Such a beautiful and fluid flow, starting with gentle movements (love the forward fold to side stretch, felt so good), to rather intense flow on hip flexors and beautiful variations of backbends and followed by very rewarding stretches and peaceful shavasana!!! Enjoyed and struggled the flow, still working on the backbend variations!!! My body felt the released after the flow, thanks marina!!!
I love your descriptions Nicole !!!!! Thank you very much !! Those variations are quite intense for hip flexors and even lower back - so take them slowly ! Or stick to camel pose for now - the good thing that you can always modify !! Any other backbend variation ! Bow or wheel !

Hello Maya ! Yes this flow has some unique variations of traditional backbends - they require deeper flexibility and balance ! I hope that next time when you try it it will feel easier. Keep practicing !!!
