30 min Flexibility Yoga for Hamstrings and Inner Thighs

- This is a 30 min intermediate level vinyasa flow for flexibility. It is entirely focused on stretches for hamstrings and inner thighs. These are essential stretches for front and middle splits combined in one effective practice.
This practice will allow you to enjoy a deep leg stretch while focusing on your breath and bringing awareness into your body. Peaceful ocean views will help you relax and dive deeper into your hamstrings and inner thigh flexibility. This leg stretch yoga flow is targeted more towards intermediate level yoga practitioners, but it will work for beginners as well with certain modifications.
This is a rather unique practice because it prepares our leg flexibility for front and middle splits at the same time and within 30 minutes only. This practice includes warm up, main sequence and cool down part with short shavasanaa. It is perfect when your time is limited or before deeper split stretches.
Remember that you can create a lot of difference in how you stretch by focusing on your breathing, staying mindful and present, continuously looking for more length and listening to my cues and guidance.
I encourage you to take it slow and be mindful of every movement and every stretch that you create. Flexibility might take time so we need to be patient and consistent. Every time we step onto the mat is a blessing and a gift that we give to our body, soul and mind. You will notice that as we stretch we begin to let go of unnecessary tension and thoughts, worries and fear. We grant ourselves an opportunity to dive deeper into ourselves and step away from the outside world. It is a beautiful reason to feel grateful.
Remember that consistency will inevitably bring results. Therefore you can repeat this yoga routine 2-3 times a week to see some progress. Depending on your flexibility you might need a set of blocks (you can grab a couple of books) and a folded blanket or towel.
Throughout this practice I will keep reminding you to find connection to your breathing. Try not to neglect it as it plays a huge role in your yoga practice. It allows you to be present and aware. It reveals tension and resistance. It allows to surrender and let go.
Get comfy, get ready and as you begin on this beautiful journey take it slow, listen to your own body and be patient.

Beautiful practice, Marina. I have been encouraging my husband to do yoga with me and today he joined me on the mat!!! (Although I wasn’t fair to him, took him directly to intermediate level lol) He loved it! He needs time to get familiar with the poses though and of course build flexibility. Hello ! Thank you for the request - I will try to create it in the future. For modified warrior - have you tried placing a blanket under your knee ? usually this can be an easy solution to discomfort.
