I like to use clear 3M paint protection film over my Auxbeam fogs for dirt and dust protection. I have a set of the 5in 90W lights with clear covers I put the 3M film onto...and to add a semi amber tint I placed a circle of lighting gel/ 1/4 CTO gel between the clear cover and lens. Great video. So far Auxbeam has impressed me with their quality and performance, and I'm 6months in with mine.
VG review Just installed them on my truck, they were missing adjustment screws, no yellow cover, wire harness wired directly without ignition on option, means they are on/off with car turned off (if you’re not paying attention it could drain your battery -dead battery🥱). I wired it directly with ignition on.
Yellow covers are an additional add on. And all pretty much all auxiliary lights do not factor in ignition and are wired direct to the battery, that’s pretty standard.
Power of 230 W per one light that is quite a load. I wonder if this rating is true power consumption or equivalent ( for brightness) of incandescent bulb power. Some manufacturers (particularly Chinese) could be quite deceitful. It would be easy to measure current (using, let say clamp on ammeter) and dispel any doubts.
VERY GOOD VIDEO JOB, THANK YOU FOR ALL THIS INFORMATION. I have Tacoma offroad (2019), and I m gonna put soon ARB FRONT BUMPER.... do you like you re..... Have a good day.
That's quiet informatived and detailed review by measuring the lux and light distance!
Awesome review , good attention to detail and informative . I appreciate the honesty and look forward to the long term review .
Thank you for watching!

Yeah that is a great option, I actually have some laying around.
I have been loving the lights so far!
also just published a video of my review of the same lights but in 9 inch
Sweet
Nice review
the yellow is what kept me from buying em. if they made a fully black model. Id be a buyer.
That’s what some plastidip is good for lol. But yeah I think all black would look better
Check out the 360 ultra's
They have black covers too. Check their website
I have the same bumper on my FJ cruiser. Do you think a 9" option to this would fit in that space with the mount and everything?
I don’t have the truck anymore, but 9” might be tight. The 7” fill it out nicely and are plenty bright
@@pnwxplore thanks much!

Didn’t measure, but it’s not 230 watts per light, that’s the total of the two. No longer have the truck or the lights
@@pnwxplore Thank you for the answer.
Were you in Warm Springs during the light tests?
No

*You will get more light if you install it on the roof , about +40%*
Can you explain further?
How do I adjust them? Like up and down still not sure of my last adjustment was a bit high
There are screws on the side you can loosen and then adjust them. Should say in the manual as well.
So how have the lights help up?
I sold the truck back in Feb. but the lights had zero issues and were holding up well
What’s with the yellow markings around the bezel? Looks odd/ugly/cheesy.
Yeah certainly not my fav
