What's to Like About TUNISIA? 🇹🇳

- Tunisia is such a paradoxical country. Life is far from easy for Tunisian people and many desperatly want to find a way out. But I still have faith that things will get better in the future because I believe in its potential and its secret charm.
As I'm only part Tunisian, my perspective is very different from the locals, which indubitably makes me see the brighter side of things. Point is that to me, Tunisia's wonderfully beautiful in its unique ways - and I hope this video brings some positivity (and tourists)!
The clips you saw were from: Sidi Bou Saïd, Tunis, Bizerte, Bazina, Tabarka, Zaghouan, Zriba, Raf Raf, Cap Serrat, Bulla Regia, among others. All cities in the North of Tunisia.

Wooooow, ( 😊❤يعطك سخطة ) you made me cry. I left my beautiful Tunisia when I was a kid. I have lived in Europe for 40 years now. Italy, England and now Sweden. I never understood the value of Tunisia when I was there. I do now, though. Now i visit Tunisia every year with my Swedish wife and my 4 children.
What an amazing video, Sophia 👏🙏❤️ well done, amazing work. I'll show my kids your beautiful video about Tunisia.
I hope one day they see it and understand it the same way you do.
Thank you very much dear Sophia, for a wonderful video and thank you very much for sharing it with us.
Love and respect ❤🙏
I'm blown away! Your comment moved me and I'm beyond grateful that you took the time to share your personal experience with me. Thank you so, so much 🙏 And I hope your kids grow to love Tunisia the way you do now - I find it wonderful that you care for them to feel that way ❤️
God bless you, young lady. Please keep up the good work . Once again, thank you very much Sophia 🙏❤️💙💛
Le n7ebouha lè nosbrou 3liha hhhh...II'm making a 3D game about Carthage and throughout my research I'm discovering more and more about our astonishing history. You gave me hope with your video
Wow good luck with your 3D game, it sounds awesome!
I just went from the US to Tunisia last month and traveled around the country from north to south. Loved the archeological sites, the culture, and the people. The food was great and nothing like other Mediterranean region cuisines, especially the hot peppers. My favorite spots were Chenini in the south and Bizerte in the north. I don't speak Arabic, but my French was super helpful to get around. I think more people should give Tunisia a try, especially if they're looking for a unique adventure 🇹🇳
I'm glad you enjoyed your time! It sounds like you got the full experience. It makes for a unique adventure as you say :)
As an Indian in Tunisia, I must say its a lovely country. The beaches, food, history, music are in itself a spectacle.
That's awesome to hear! Especially coming from such a diverse country yourself
Sweetness!
I agree with everything said in this video. I have traveled quite a bit as well but haven't found anything similar to Tunisia.
Yes, it's quite inexplicable. Special place :)
We love Tunisia
Tunisia is land of Carthage ❤ my people, my ancestors I'll always be proud of them ❤ hannibal, Hannon,.. 🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳 We have all like the man said ❤❤
Thanks for your video 🌹🌹
This video made me cry. I love my country and my culture, and I love the people and my religion. I wish I had the ability to guide everyone and help them advance. I hope I die having accomplished an achievement for my country ❤️
That's beautiful. Being kind-hearted in this world is all the ability you need to make a change in people's life, or at least the ones that cross your path. I wish you the best :)
loved the man's speech at 3:00
Wish this video reaches millions bcs it deserves ❤
Thank you so much 😄
I Love My Tunisia 🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳
What an amazing vlog! Takes me back to the old-school Nat Geo videos. It's a nice introduction to Tunisia for someone like me, who does not know much about the place. And Tunisians seem lovely. Now I'm intrigued to know more about the country!
I m 23 and tbh hearing that guy talking about the Tunisia and the people . made me sad . because we always forget about Carthage . and our own history . it hurts because it feels like u have to leave the country if u wanna give u r children' better future help your family . it feels like staying here even after finding a job will be not living because u will find u r self 40 years old with no house renting . and struggling and that will effect u r family and yourself . its sad . it kills me that we are not proud of our history the Punic carthage . it feels forgotten . what once have been the land of The great Hannibal barca that showed us the love of the land . its sad . but hey . thank you for the video .
after 27 years outside Tunisia , I decided with my foreign wife to settle in Tunisia while other want to go out because they think that outside Tunisia the situation is better while I know it is not . Travel and see the world is a must to build a character and a mindset that builds that's what I gained from my travel and living abroad and with that I am going back to Carthage to build and fight with life to leave something with my name . is it easy ofcourse NO but what life taught me ' Fight as hard as you can and success is never guaranteed but die while you are trying".
I've been there less than a month ago and already miss it!
the highlight of this video is definitely Ali's beautiful words of wisdom, cut that part into a short video and you'll have a an amazing shareable reel.
Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it!

I got goosebumps watching this video. I hope it reaches millions of views because we need some positivity, reminding Tunisians that we deserve a better future in our land. We have the potential; we just need to believe in it.
In addition, I encourage everyone to come and visit Tunisia. It's a country with so much to discover, where everyone is welcomed .
thx for the video Sophia
Absolutely, I couldn't agree more. I'm glad to find people like you who think the same! Thank you ☺️
Your editing and storytelling are amazing ! Love how you've shown the happy side of Tunisia that we all love to see ... I just wish you've written down the names of places you've been to, subtitled in the video. This would help us as Tunisians, tourists in our own country and for tourists coming from all over the world to explore this beautiful country.

Bravo Sophia ❤
Such a beautiful way of introducing a country, so pure and authentic love it!
Young people in Tunisia feel like a stranger in his own home,it's a terrible feeling that every young person I've met in this country has,I think this feeling is blocking the whole country from any kind of progress.
Well kom Tunisie im from Tunisie ❤

I have a question about the language... How did you learn Tunisian?I really need help because probably I'm going to live there in some time and it's going to be my home so I want to learn how to communicate with my people. I would be very grateful for your answer! Thanks, Paula 😊
Hello Paula! I'm soo happy to share some tips with you, because I remember the struggle! There aren't so many resources to learn Tunisian out there, but the good news is that the few I found were really good, and you learn to be creative. If by chance you speak French, you can start with " Parler Tunisien fissa", which you can go through in less than 6 months. It's an excellent starting point. Otherwise, you can also start with "Tunisian Colloquial Arabic". It's mainly vocabulary but it's well made, and you can also listen to the prononciation thanks to an audio file online. On the website Lingualism, you can also download stories to listen to for free (once your level is intermediate).
I would advise you to try to learn as many common verbs as possible first, and get familiar with conjugation. Then, watch a lot of mousalsal (Ramadan tv shows) on youtube, like Nsibti Laaziza or Awled moufida. Don't get frustrated if you don't understand anything at first. Soon you'll recognize key expressions that you'll hear everywhere in Tunisia!
There are also some youtube channels that can help: Easy languages does interviews which are subtitled in English. Or you could watch Tunisian youtubers: Ti 3leh, mo55ek 3ejja, salem monsieur...
And finally, listen to some music! Another very useful youtube channel: Tunisian Music translated. Learning lyrics really helps and it makes it fun.
Good luck on your journey Paula, I hope you enjoy every bit of it 😃
@SophiaGarbay You are unbelievable! Thank you for your help, and I hope to see you one day in Tunisia! 🇹🇳 ❤️
