Super cool idea to install a heater inside the interior fan chamber. I can see why this is necessary on electric motor conversions. We're anxious to see what you did to the CCU in order to accommodate those new servos and heater components into the control unit. Congrats.

@Classic Retrofit Nice work! I find the servos pretty interesting. As you rightly say, they tend to fail and a replacement is really expensive. Are you planning to provide your servo solution as a one-to-one replacement for the existing system environment, i.e. plug and play?

Electric heating would be a challenge with the regular 12v system

Is this still in development? The evaporator on my ‘91 964 C2 Coupe just went… so this would be a good time for me to assess options… please let me know. BTW I’m located in Florida… and summer is approaching… so, having my AC working ASAP is a must for me.

+1. . Impressive undertaking and solutions. As an "98 Carrera S (993) original owner, ask me or any 993 about the HVAC servos. . Yeah the servo's suck, in Spades! .. Great work Gent's.. Will the stock 993 alternator output support the propossed electric heating elements? . I suppose modern-day ceramic heating elements are substantially effiecent? .. Cheers, M/S

So this was 8 months ago - how far along are you with the full kit being available with heat and a/c?
