Is the really high pitched noise from the first start-up coming from the old box? Mine does that as well... But everything works perfectly.

Can the system run for long at idle? I noticed when you pulled over that the voltage dropped from like 13.4 to 11.9volts pretty quickly, then stabilized around 12.1. Seems as though the alternator isn't really generating significant current at idle, so I'm wondering if the a/c will get ahead of the car and continue to drag that voltage down or not unless you're moving.

Brilliant. After a scorching drive to Revival from NL last year - I was about to splash out on your A/C. So what is best here: buy A/C now and buy upgrade kit later? Or wait untill this kit comes out.

Will this also work on my ‘69 911E? I’ve been on fence with electric AC for while & this could be the tipping point.

Music to my ears Jonny! Especially since my car is currently cut to pieces with new floors, rockers, and suspension pan going in. I made the decision to weld up the heater tubes in the rockers etc. Are you guys working on an upgrade package of sorts, for those of us that have the A/C already? And yes, I know....why do I need heat when I live in Florida? :)

Why the extra testing on the air con side though, as you already have this product, so would have thought this was the easy side and the heating the more unknown bit… Put me down for an order, plus happy to be a test bed, if any use as car just in final finishing stages - so perfect before I order new heat exchangers….!

Perfect addition to the overall system, just spent serious £££’s on your full elec aircon & alternator for my 82 911sc… so might need to get that installed and enjoyed first before splashing out again… 👀

now tou need a bigger alternator for your electric pump. Bigger means a lot more money and weight. No wonder he never mentioned the cost.

That's great news! I installed it last year for my Porsche 930 and it works just perfect. My son's Defender 90 is now waiting for the same upgrade :)

When is this coming out? Do you plan on integrating with an updated HVAC controller on the dash too?

Here's a strange question. Let's say I'm in a hot climate that would suggest the need for a dual condenser setup, but I'm uncomfortable mounting a second condenser in a way that might require drilling or other modifications to mount in the rear wheel well. Can your system be in any way adjusted to use the condenser from the factory A/C system as a second? That way, there's no other modification required to increase cooling capacity; the condenser from the factory sits in the engine bay and is already mounted. Basically, can you use your condenser as the main and route in the factory condenser to increase efficiency (instead of two of your condensers)?

Excellent video, my only suggestion as an aircraft maintenance technician would be to add grease all 360⁰ of the worm gear in addition to the cog. Thanks for sharing!
