One happy man in his beautiful garden 😊
Thank you John and David, you're always a welcome sight when you pop up on my tablet, i put you on hold while i make a cup of tea and get my notebook ready to write all those on screen plant names, ❤🏴
About contrasting colours, John, I planted Pieris japonica approx. 20 years ago, then a lovely Japanese cherry, pink and white double flowers. Both have suddenly spread their branches together; a glorious sight and both are perfumed. Wish you could see it.
Once again John you make me smile❤
Lord of the Pickaxe 👑. Great show, ty.
So very impressed with your energy and spirit in your garden, love seeing your dance around from one area to another. Thanks for a kick start to my day. 👍❤️😊
I love the sound of a plane going over, but perhaps weirdly I hate the sound of traffic and other peoples music when i am gardening. I have really heavy clay soil which can be difficult to plant in, especially if I need a deeper hole. I broke the head of my ancient pickaxe last year, (digging up stones, not plants) watching you, i think i had better get another one. You should have twice as many subscribers, you never fail to make me smile, and you enthusiasm makes me want to dash out and start digging, unfortunately, it's raining (again) so perhaps tomorrow.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
John u the best

Hey John and Subs.
I have a question 🤔
I've got a betula pendular silver birch tree on the way in a 2 litre pot.
I have a smaller sized garden but need some privacy from houses at the rear.
My question is... Can I prune this tree during autumn time to reduce it's height to about 7 ft?
I love the way he lobs little bombs at woke EU regulations.
