Ahh…it’s a good day, Johns posted again. I enjoy the plant titles, the advice and the good humor. My note pads ready. Back to the video. Thanks John from the mountains of NC.
At the end of every John Lord video, I'm left wanting more.
Hi John and Teddy, nice to see you both! I think I need a "Teddy" in my life, LOL! Thanks for all the spring tips and sunny/rocky planting tips.
Then the bamboo stake roots and takes over again. 😂 My favorite Gardner! Thanks John!
Burning pampas on Palm Sunday was a tradition in my little town in SE Pennsylvania. The firefighters in my family looked forward to the training.
🌹 John you inspire me ! 🌿💛🌿⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
John your posts are so informative and always delivered with a lovely sense of humor. Please keep them comming.
Always learning from you John and I enjoy your jokes 'gardening leave' lol. Send us some of your rain as in Canterbury NZ direst summer since 1980s.
In the US - we called watering in to remove air pockets: "mudding in," and water as we fill. For shrubs and trees.
Love your wit+humor.
The man is back. Thanks John for sharing. Damien gardening channel from Cork City
So good to see John in the garden!
What I love is John's honesty about the hazards of planting Phygelius in a garden. I find the same with some of the older Japanese anemones, solidago, and Acanthus (Bear's breeches). But many of the books and suppliers don't tell you this. Definitely right plant, right place. And buyer beware.
John is a treasure
Hi John, I don't know if you care but the stem with the tag on it will always die on roses. I don't know why this is but it's true every single time in my experience.
Excellent fun John
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is a rather tall weeping tree growing in the newly enlarged bed, would be kind enough to identify it for me. Thank you and regards.
It’s a purple weeping beech, Fagus sylvatica Purple Fountain.
Northofagus antartica did grow in Antartica. Twas a dwarfish prostrate form though. We had two of the big ones, magnificent bastards, but increasing heat, humidity and drought killed them.
John, what happens to all those yellow bamboo near your garden shop, I went there today & and it's all gone. If I know you will take out them, I buy some for u?😢
We took them up and the person taking them up, with great difficulty, got paid in bamboo.
