Very effective! Despite many decades of debilitating low-back (and some neck) issues, credit many years of yoga for allowing me to be mostly discomfort free. Even with all the physical stresses associated with recent furniture painting (fortunately, back held up fine), only took leaning forward on sofa one evening to tweak something. Major ouch. Did this sequence the next morning, added in a few stretches which have proven tried-and-true for me in the past, and was good to go. This proved to be a 'quick fix'! THANK YOU!
Oh, I'm so happy to hear this practice helped with your lower back! My husband also has chronic lower back issues and all it takes is something as simple as bending over to tie his shoes too fast and he's out of commission for 2 days 😔 I hope you continue to take really good care of you and your back 💕

I actually found Yin yoga while dealing with a long period of inflammation/arthritis in my big toes and was unable to practice hatha/vinyasa, too. It was a rough time....but looking back now, I'm so happy it happened because yin yoga has made my life so much richer! Funny how things work out, eh? I just do 🙂You mention a beautiful sentence in your class: 'Marinate in Silence' while in the meantime the background music is playing on..... A suggestion; if you want to have some background sound why not use birdsong or other true natural sounds. Hope this is helpful. Namaste.
