I'm just starting my restorative yoga practice so am looking for videos for guidance. This is so helpful! I still need to buy a good bolster but in the mean time I made a homemade/makeshift one using several folded, stacked blankets stuffed into a pillow sham. I do Pilates as my main form of exercise and yoga for stretching out stiff muscles, relaxation and stress relief. Thanks for this! :) Can you recommend a good bolster for restorative yoga?

The one I used in this video is made by Dusky Leaf and is very good quality. I purchased it about 4 years ago at a local yoga studio and use it many times a week and is holding up well. I have a smaller one that is about 6 years old and is made by Half Moon and is also excellent quality. I would highly recommend either brand! There are many types/sizes of bolsters so it would be nice if you were able to try some at a store/studio. (I know that may be tough in the COVID-19 era!) Depending on your anatomy/needs some bolsters may feel way better than others. I hope this was helpful and I hope you enjoy your journey into the softer side of yoga. Take care xo 💗
