Nice!! If you don’t mine , what gauge do you prefer to use when making your rings shanks? And bezel? Just curious 😊

Julie Peck thickness of the shank varies it really depends on the style of ring typically 18 g though. Same for bezels... nothing thicker than 18 and some times as thin as 26g

I have a request 🙏🏼 would you please do a video on how you place & remove your saw blade on your nice saw. What kind on saw you use, what kind of saw # blade is best to use for what gage sheet. Would be very helpful. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🌺

there is a gauge chart for sawing, but i use a 2/0 blade for most applications: www.firemountaingems.com/resources/encyclobeadia/charts/771x

i thought you should hold the blade at 90 degrees ? i have always read to use wax , why didn't you ? and i think if you hold it in between the bench pin at the open "V" and not just on the side of the bench pin it would vibrate less . Are my thoughts wrong about what i wrote here ?

most experienced jeweler's use incredibly sharp blades without waxing which can sometimes build up making it difficult to see your scribe lines and markings. You do not always have to saw between the "v" some bench pins don.t even have a v shape and leaning the blade forward a little will help you get a straight line cut :) Give it a try my way and see how it works for you ❤️
