Thanks Ginger! I really think that bezel blocks are incredibly valuable to have in your stonesetting tool box, especially if you ever do tube settings. I try to talk about bezel blocks whenever I teach a stonesetting workshop. One of the 17 degree, round, bezel blocks like Otto Frei #127.000 (20 hole) or #127.003 (11 hole) are good places to start to practice and learn about them. Cheers! Jeff
Once you have the tapered bezel made, is it necessary to cut a seat in order to set your faucted stone in the tapered bezel?

For anyone wondering, a half ton arbor press will also work.
