So the day comes that little Raeven asks dad where do babies come from... Rener: Great question, son! Mom and dad made you in a very long, complicated and dangerous process. First, I have to get by the creepy hug defense, then the Bavarian system, bypass the triple threat, and don't forget the Brazilian Gauntlet. And no matter what, remember to dodge the bootysault- If you get hit by that, it's game over right there! That was five weeks in the hospital for daddy. In your particular case I suffered a torn rotator cuff, a distal radius fracture, several finger dislocations, a torn MCL, even my medula oblongata got twisted up somehow- you're lucky to even be alive, kiddo. Raeven: huh? I don't understand. Where did I come from? Rener: I don't blame you that you don't get it, son. You see, it's all very complicated- even getting past the triple threat alone- which is more like a quadruple threat because your mom knows my weakness is...

How about just saying no, and then charging them with sexual assault if they don't listen. Seems like the best way to correct this behaviour. Otherwise these types of men will just figure your not in the mood but possibly another time you will be, and they will do it again and again.. Remember, it's NO, then jail time. Keep safe.
I was thinking exactly the same. I would just immediately step backwards and say seriously “don’t touch me”, “hey I don’t know you” or something similar.
I'm a guy of almost 7ft. Why am I watching this? LOL. I think you show a good approach for your problem. My two cents on it: I dislike the idea of grapling as the be all and end all of self-defense, but it has certainly an important role. In this case, it can be used to avoid further escalation, and in other cases, it can prevent unnecessary damage, or end a fight, but when it comes to you being attacked, you need a solid base in kick-boxing. Strikes are just so much faster and many grapling arts rely on overcompliance regarding the opponents attack being exaggerated and him not going back into a guard-position at reasonable speed. Or in short: I lack pressure testing by someone who actually knows how to throw a punch in many grapling arts. PS: I've been groped multiple times by women and it pisses me off. If I groped a woman, I'd get smacked and the police called, but when it happens to me, others either ignore it, or laugh! If I'd smack her, or push her away, it would end badly!
Humble bragging aside, you can practice grappling much more often with greater resistance than striking. Look at wrestlers, if boxers went as hard as wrestlers in their training, they'd die.
@@Milk88488let me explicate the grandiose joke though I do emplore you to analyze the joke on your own when you have time. The orginal poster who goes by the alias of vedic warrior is using a common humor technique reffered to as "satire" this is when the user mainly uses exaggeration irony or humor to criticize the subject's stupidity or attack their values. Now since we have the terms and defintions let me explain how this specific satircal joke is absolutely hilarious! The video is suppose to be used for members of the fair sex but verdic warrior is implying that they are member of the male sex additionally it is like a david and goliath situation where the big and strong (verdic in this situation) is being defeated by the old female for you see from natural point of perspective the stronger male is suppose to make the weaker female submit and make the female do his will but this outcome is not enacted thus being hilarious and it is also part of the irony. Lets get into the hyperbolic segment of this ludicrously amusing piece of satire which is the unexpected age of the assailant. vedic warrior does not provide information on himself but let us presume for practical purposes vedic warrior is a young healthy male in the zenith of his fitness whilst the female assailant is at the nadir of life and thus should have no incentive to go after young males the absurdity of the claim for such a old woman to go after the young male is what makes this segment legitimately hilarious though humour is inherently subjective however due to the likes though it seems as if the majority agrees that this joke is funny.

The videos you are talking about bring absolutely nothing for the majority who find it stupid, sorry to say it but it's the truth and it often doesn't work in real cases, it would be better to read books or have scenes marking the minds for men, as well as a better public education and justice system.

I understand the variables of not being aware from behind like a sneak attack. In most cases if you don’t want to be hugged simply tell them. It’s far less work than doing this. It’s safer if your not trained as the people presenting are. In most cases a person makes eye contact with you, they say something in an exited manner and move in for the action. You don’t want to offend them by using words to communicate yet It’s ok to do a more aggressive approach as this ? Words are powerful and they have impact if you deliver the message clear and in direct communication. So if you don’t want them to hug you then why worry about telling them directly? We hug people we like & trust. So if your not trusting of their actions, voice your disapproval. It’s ok. I’m not saying that what is demonstrated isn’t effective. It is great skill training. But just keep it simple. Use you words to tell them. If they persist after that the posting with your hand is a natural defense in the 1st frame. On a deeper note , if they swim in for a feel and your not wanting that. VOICE YOUR DISAPPROVAL! Tell them exactly how you feel about it and distance. We all have seen someone that has had a few drinks too many or other stimulants. They may do something they usually wouldn’t do. Obviously it’s not acceptable if you don’t want it. Be sure to communicate that disapproval.
Sadly that specific move is not very realistic, you can try it with some friend, people just don't stay still when you grab their arm... I'm not saying it doesn't work, with practice you may get it done but it's not likely to work against an actual aggression.

I'm very accustomed to hugging around the shoulder and never waistline (unless person is taller than me like my brothers who are above 6 feet and seven inches). That and i always ask ahead of time if I may or may not give hug
We are now in an anti harrasment culture where a woman can OPENLY just TELL the guy to "BACK OFF" (in her own "words" of course) without having to resort to "HUG" Judo. I don't feel these defenses are NEEDED. If a guy "didn't get the class" on personal space FOR ANYONE (even a woman). There's plenty of ways to communicate that effectively to him without "Karate" chopping his advances.
Who exactly would you do this to? A stranger I wouldn't even let them hug me in the first place. A friend or family member I'm not going to throw on the ground.

I caught him staring out the bathroom window one time n yep at the girls in thier swimsuits. Then he started going to thier rooms to visit n i had to tell him he could not do that as it was inappropriate. They stopped coming around n when i found out (i found out months later) he actually touched a butt on purpose n tried to say it was accidental/shortly (a month later) after he walked in on one showering he changed his story how it happened several times. It was quite the showdown! He no longer lives with me n everybody is relieved n happy. Yes, he got help unwillingly but when time was up he left for parts unknown. Have no idea if he is alive or dead. Been a yr now. Im not sorry to kick him out. He's lucky i didnt kill him. It came close. The mom, my daughter sure put the fear in him to never come too. She was a raging mamabear❣ barely keeping herself from killing too. Very proud of her n g-daughters for recognizing/acting on because they did.

I really like this video because it is so realistic. A lot of woman's self defense video is so irrealistic because it portrays a direct attack like strangling or hitting. While in reality I think most of the assaults against woman begings more like portrayed in this video. And the woman in this video clerly using techniques wich is mostly about not phisically dominating the opponent, but get in control, before he becomes more agressive. Very helpful!

Thank you. I recently had a relative grab and force hug and hold me and I could not get free. As a survivor of violence this was very triggering and I experienced fight, flight, freeze and fawn. I tried to fight and he got tighter. I tried to flee and he squeezed in. I ended up freezing, then crying and fawning and hugging him back though I desperately wanted to escape. I hope these skills will avoid the hug in the first place and prevent this from happening again.

If I make it through all that and all goes well, then it's three to five weeks in the hospital.
Raeven: Mommy goes to the hospital?
Rener: No, that part comes later.

Thank you for the training, and congratulations!
How about just saying no, and then charging them with sexual assault if they don't listen. Seems like the best way to correct this behaviour. Otherwise these types of men will just figure your not in the mood but possibly another time you will be, and they will do it again and again.. Remember, it's NO, then jail time. Keep safe.

Just shared with my Daughter...Thank You!
So even if someone tries to hug you, he won't get above your balls?

@@Hindu428 A bit of sense of humor can go a long way in understanding my comment. 😁
@@vedicwarriorOriginal what's funny about the comment?
@@Milk88488 Uh... never mind!
Awesome guys love it. And congrats on the new baby.🚼
Brilliant video, really amusing, but with a very important message that a lot of teenager girls or ladies in general should focus on; great delivery of your message.... also, congratulations on bubby no. 2 🌟👏👏👏. Thank you, again.
It's men that need to focus on it, not women. The men need educating.
@@tomb9050 Everyone needs education what kind of comment is that, anyone can be the creep. Sometimes it's only the way of living which is different, in France kisses and hugs are frequent for everybody, you can't know at first who wouldn't want that
@@boitenormal8187 the "education" for women about how to defend themselves against men is endless. And it's been going on since the 60s. It's absolutely saturated.
When was the last time you saw a video trending telling men how to behave?
@@tomb9050 you are generalizing about all men, and it is not by blaming them that you are going to "educate" them, on the contrary it makes feminism less credible and encourages discrimination. This is not the right form of education, often speaking is enough. also, although the majority of abusers are men, everyone should be concerned about these issues, there is a reality that people don't grasp, if a man hugs a woman, she can file a complaint but the otherwise is almost impossible, no one will take an assaulted man seriously. The videos you are talking about bring absolutely nothing for the majority who find it stupid, sorry to say it but it's the truth and it often doesn't work in real cases, it would be better to read books or have scenes marking the minds for men, as well as a better public education and justice system.
@@boitenormal8187 well no shit sherlock. Talk about stating the obvious.
Videos, books, pamphlets, public education.. whatever you want. It's all missing and that's my point.
My intention is not to blame or to educate, but to point out that videos like this one are perpetually manufactured, whilst the perpetrators are never at any point taught a thing.
Enough with your simple simon nonsense.
Be sure to communicate that disapproval.
oh I love this one!!! socially appropriate defense:) this is so cool!
My sneak attack hugs cannot be defended.

Sadly that specific move is not very realistic, you can try it with some friend, people just don't stay still when you grab their arm...
