This is a fantastic double decked layout. You must have many years invested into all of that track work and scenery. Please keep making videos, mice subscribed so I can see them. Number 183.
This is a mind blowing layout. I'm building a small 3x4 n scale layout right now and it feels like a lot of work but this is absolutely amazing and I respect all the time spent on it
I know this area somewhat. Fond Du Lac to Oshkosh from trips for AirVenture. Also Neenah to Orchard by Rail, ATCS. What happened to Orchard North of Nelsons? I watch the Waupaca Plant Switching on VRF Cam at the Depot. 😊
Orchard and the double track into Point is relatively new. I model 1979. also on the bottom deck the soo and CNW trackage is still sperate. The WC combine those lines.
WOW! Super impressive and LOTS of hard work evident in such a LONG multi-deck mainline. Your Giles Landing (?) scene (river/lake crossing?) is one of the most effective I've seen. But that grade at Amherst Jct - what's the story there (maybe it was just the camera angle :^) Thanks for sending me the link - really cool to do the walkaround
Very Nice layout and wonderful spacious workshop. If you don't mind me asking? How big or what kind of area sizes is this? And do you find that the open ceiling helps with it not feeling too closed in? Probably a good idea for ease of access also. Thank you for the tour. Enjoyed! BTW, Has the Utah Belt Line visited your rail line.😉
The layout itself is about 28' by 41' but a bit of a T shape. I don't mind the open ceilings. I'm not that tall so the height was not a concern. I think it does make a little more dust though.
Hi, Your episode has me curious of your builds. However, this episode has sparked me to write you. I noticed you use various cabinets as benchwork. As do I. During this Op Session I noticed on your upper level a wall hung cabinet which your trackage travels through. How do you use the interior of this cabinet. Currently my NVR/WAS RAILROAD has 84 lower kitchen cabinets (30"x 30"x a built up 40" base) from building rehab and charity thrift shop. This represents about 252 feet of benchwork. My family and friends are working with me to rehab the entire layout. Part of that rehab is to install a collection of upper cabinets (30" x 20" x by again a built up 40" off the ramp) at "floor" level, against the rooms exterior walls. They will be stair stepped, as a 5% grade, to ride along side a ramp & three walls. This will take Session Operators to the top level central layout. Once there a gradual slope will return Operators back to the lower level. But your cabinet use has me VERY curious. Please respond as to your concept and effect outcome?😮 Jim in N.Y.
Thanks for the interest in my layout. I believe the upper cabinet you are referring to is between Anton siding and Readfield. Upstairs above that area of the layout is a bathroom. The drain for the toilet and shower hang rather low there. To hide the unsightly plumbing I curved the backdrop out to the front of the layout edge and framed in an opening the size of an extra cabinet door that I had on hand. The door just serves at access to the plumbing. There is also a few miles between Anton and Readfield in real life so the divider helps jump from scene to scene.
That is at Van Dyne. At one time there was a depot that the siding went around and them a Co op along the road that was served my the little run around. I have a lot of selective compression going on but it gives the feel of what was there.
Very nice. My dad was a Soo trainmaster on this territory from 1979-86 based out of Shops yard.
Beyond impressive.
Very nice scenery work. Keep us posted on updates
Beautiful!!! Must be so much fun to operate. Thanks for sharing.
"That's it!" Nice to see some new work around Oshkosh! Looking good Luke!
What's the layout dimensions?
David, I'm glad to finally get Oshkosh to look a little more complete. I need to get you back over here for an op session again.
Wow!!! Real nice Layout, enjoyed the tour.
Have a great open house, the layout looks great

I always tell everyone, "don't build a layout this big". it may be neat but there comes with it a lot of challenges. Enjoy the size you have.
Looks amazing. Can’t wait to operate on this layout again
Now THAT'S a model railroad!
The Elevator build is coming along very nicely. Your attention to the prototype and the details is really paying off. Great job!!
That's outstanding...
Very neat layout! Looks well planned.
Those long mainline runs are INCREDIBLE
Looks awesome!
Great layout! 😍🥰
Beautiful toys my favorites
Are you any forums discussing your layout. Would love to see more details about. Incredible layout. Good job 👍
I mostly use Facebook to showcase my modeling.

Can you do a video about your methods for making the fields?
Nicely done, Whats the overall footprint of it?
Very Nice layout and wonderful spacious workshop.

0:36 - whats up with that weird run-a-round?
That is at Van Dyne. At one time there was a depot that the siding went around and them a Co op along the road that was served my the little run around. I have a lot of selective compression going on but it gives the feel of what was there.
Where are you located? Do you host op sessions? How often?
What scale is this layout?
Ho scale.
Great but sound to low it will be more fun
Gtrat but with sound it will be better
Not much for jealousy but i don't like this guy😁
