Actually I'm getting lots of fast root growth out of small cracks in the leaves aswel as the fresh cut and petiole end. But they are in a grow cabinet in sphagnum. It's taken 2 weeks to get well rooted I'm just waiting for pups now. The ones I did in perlite prop box on my west face window and the pups are going crazy heaps of them. I use the leaves that are wonky or bit older and get excellent results anyway. I will say of all the peperomia I find the watermelon to be abit harder than the rest,I'd like to see a larger established established plant without any damaged or wonky leaves living indoors?
This prop takes a lot of consistency with keeping the top layer of soil moist. In my conditions this was spraying every 3-4 days. Happy growing!
One month in for me, keeping my fingers crossed that this will work. Thanks for the info!
keep waiting! as long as the leaves are still green those roots should be coming soon.
Man this was an awesome video! I'm gonna give it a go. Thanks brother 💪🏾
Thank you for the comment! Good luck with the propagation. It was a long one, but worth it.
