I'm 27, turning 28 in less than a month. The Ikigai video was recommended to me by UA-cam, and I thought why watch a 45 mins long video when I'm in the process of trying to use my time wisely. After I thoroughly finished that, I also clicked on this video.
I just would like to take a moment to thank you all for creating these videos. I've made zillions of efforts on my part ever since I was 12 years old...all tests and trials...guided by a few now and then, but mostly all by myself! Wish I had found a coach like sooner.
Some of these ideas were exactly what I was missing in my efforts. I still might not achieve a perfect plan...but I've definitely found something new and in tune to my missing needs, to lead my efforts on.
    Long...but sincerely, Thank You!

It kinda is but it is done poorly and teachers themselves don't understand this. Tasks like writing a plan of your day are often integrated into primary school courses. The problem is they are not used to teach kids how to manage your time they either focus on writing itself or just exist without any particular meaning at all. ;/

I was starting of with freelancing apart from tending to 3 children. It is so easy to tell myslef that it is ok to spend my quiet time after dinner till midnight just to relax by doing social media or watching series. Things that I realixed that were counterproductive.
Learning about block time helped me stil enjoy my me time, do chores, homeschool and allot time for deep work with my freelancing activities. Thank you Sir Chris ❤

*Since the futur is investing in my future, I am also investing in the futur as a sustaining member. Starting from the price of a cup of coffee, I urge everyone to do the same.*
My degree is in language and fine arts, and my business startup is not related to design. I have no idea how to run a business after I graduated. But Chris has taught me so much more than I have ever learnt in school in these years, from branding, niching down, price design, teaching your client, growing your audience, time management, streamlining and systemising your business, business psychology and mindset to dealing with this pandemic. It is applicable to every field and discipline regardless if you are a designer or not.
Like Peter, I am 26 at the moment, and I also need to set a lot of my priorities right. I have dedicated an hour block time during commute in the past, and 3-4 hours during this quarantine period to catch up with all the futur episodes I missed. It’s already a term of master degree that I have taken. Thank you the Futur.

The Futur Quick question. How many years do you think it’ll take before “Detailed illustrative style” logos become the primarily preferred and accepted trend in the logo design space? Most big name design companies preach against those type logo designs. Eventually, minimalistic design ideas will become a rarity just like CPU design shrinkage. Other “innovations” will soon trump simplification or am I delusional?

    • @StPierreVincentS

      It's worth it.
I've been a subscriber to Futur for the last two years. This is probably the best content I've watched.
Of course, if it was more tightly scripted, we could get the info quicker... But it isn't meant as a scripted video. It's a workshop technique that Futur is showcasing here. And that is all about dedicating time and bouncing between people. It's tough to do that on video and to do in a scripted way.

Damn, I woke up today and this video popped up as I'm making breakfast. I let it play in the background as I make my breakfast and really got into the video as I ate. I suddenly started to write down the time I wake up and go to sleep and the the free time I have and what I will do with it.. I follow big time UA-camrs that always talk about time and minimalism. I listen but never really put it into play cause it's always them vlogging about it. But to see an actual break down step by step really got my attention and got me really thinking. Other UA-camrs seem to be talking to me about it and time and there life and I should try it. This is the first time time I feel I was actually taught how to break it down and start. After watching it I'm like duh just write it down. But we are so distracted in our own minds with nonsense, I couldn't think about where to begin. Then a moment like this happens where it makes you pause, stop everything and really put time in now. Anyway I don't know who you are I don't follow this channel glad it came in my feed it def made me stop and think about my time. Unlike the other channels I pretty much use for entertainment and never take advice. It's a difference someone talking about what they did and someone teaching you how. We all learn different and this helped me today. Thanks dude!

I have a day job, but I also have a few side businesses that I am building that I feel will replace my current job soon. So I am always watching youtube for inspiration, marketing and other knowledge to help grow my small businesses. Garyvee (who I love but he rambles on, and half the time I have no idea what he is talking about) and others like him I watch and still watch occasionally, but I keep coming back to The Futur because I learn something useful every time. The info/advice they are giving is great because it's exactly what they use themselves. The first video I watched was "How much do you charge for a logo" and it opened my mind to a new way of thinking. Now I'm hooked! Just wanted to let The Futur (Chris Do and everyone involved in making these videos) know what a great service you are doing for me and I'm sure for many others.

really thank you for having Piter on the show.
for me, someone who is still a student, and didn't figure out how to start doing anything yet about my career, i related to Piter's day a lot more than Ricky's, like: on the aspect that we both have a lot of time we can (and should) give up to achieve our goals ( especially media consumption, for me it can get to 5 hours a day very easily )
on the other hand i'm really jealous about the fact that he dedicates a big chunk of his time for self development and doing actual work. from now on i'll work actively on tracking my time and planing my day and ofc "managing myself" lol.
once again, thank you so much Chris for this valuable content , and thank you for all the staffs of *the futur* , really love guys . have a nice weekend everyone.

Loved this video on how to time audit and systematically improve ourselves overtime. Thank you Chris for dropping such a great tool on our lap to make us conscious of where we spend our most precious currency. More importantly, to steal back time from our less effective self to empower our future self. Appreciate you and the Futur. Thank you

I like washing dishes and doing laundry for the purpose of training myself to be mindful. I connect with the present moment and it trains my thinking/my mind to focus and stay on task drama free. It teaches me to be calm and attentive to what I am doing. This involves using and revisiting aspects of work, and necessity regarding quality, efficiency, and purpose.

Chris always has this extraordinary way to present something that we already know and he is also very convincing. I've met a person like Chris before. He is my math teacher and unlike most people I have some good memories with math. I still remember things he taught me until today.

Being currently unemployed and watching this entire video made me realize I've wasted an excessive amount of time out of my day. This year has been highly depressing. I'm ashamed to even admit it on here that I've given up on life, goals, and dreams. I'm glad to have watched this information in its entirety. Now I have the tools to take ownership of my life.
