Brand loyalty no longer exists in this day in age. Price is king. Who can sell at a lower price and make a profit will win. Cheapskates are the kings.
At least all the businesses that I have worked for have had no brand loyalty.

Well, I worked in advertising and marketing for 10+ years (on the interactive / QC rather than the design / client sides), and I spent a lot of time preparing quotes and putting together pitches for new business. The process was always mysterious, and not just to me. No one seemed to understand what would work. Chris in this one video clarified everything for me: the right approach, the psychology, the importance of not selling and value vs. time. Chris is tough but everything he says is empowering rather than discouraging - that's a gift. He talks about logic, but he is more than logical, he's intuitive and empathic. I will think this through in terms of my own business. Kudos as well to the young woman who put herself on the line and took feedback in good spirit. It's a good reminder that quite often you need to get honest, constructive feedback and you need to get it from someone who knows what they're talking about, and you need to not take it personally. "Tell me more that I'm doing wrong!" Five stars.

Quote of the day: "Do not spend a small effort for a big result. Don't spend a big effort for a small result"
Haven't laughed in ages this is so goo. Very raw content to get people related about their situation how to approach or even how to ask questions that doesn't sell straight away

Eye opening. Now I see why the business part of it is so important and is not necessarily something complicated and hard, once you decide to learn it and give it time, and use it. Thank you! :)

Thank you so much, again, Chris. I'm finally starting my own business. Ignited by people like you, who give great advice and an occasional kick in the but. I got my foot in the door at different businesses by stipulating what value I can bring to their business and increase their income. Now they ask my price and I'm sweating carrots because it is so niche and difficult to set my price. It's all new

Chris, thank you so much for sharing this precious business idea unconditionally with us. I was deeply moved by the kindness of you and your team. Without this video, it might take me 5,10 or more years to find out and understand this idea. And who knows how much I might loose in that case ! Thank you for saving one design heart. I will keep working on it and pay back when I make it ! Wish you and whole The Futur team all the best :)

It's amazing just how different of a result you can get just by how you interact and engage with people in general. Same issue. Same client. Massively different outcomes even price wise n sanctification. Value is everything n how the conversation gets there w/ pin pointed issues & possible threats towards that goal make it plain as day making realizations for the client n allowing for a better opportunity towards changing strategies or revision of the proper solution(s) to tackle the new issue(s) at hand. what a broad mindset; this can be applied to so many things outside of just sales/servicing too. +1 from me

Bravo Chris for understanding how to serve people from your heart! I'm in line on your list. Great job.

Extra super dope content. BIG THANKS for that !
One question remains. A client could ask us to PROVE we can reach the targets we discuss about. So we need metrics. And for small businesses which have (like me) no idea about good metrics, which one are the most useful and how do we do that in practice ? Any great resource on that ? THANKS !!!

At 36 minutes he talks about discounting for uncertainty, that's part of the pricing. I'm going guess they get more into the metrics in the educational products that they sell on their website.

Good to hear that advice about not insulting the client. I definitely began doing that recently when discussing a client's identity - I noticed I was about to say some critical stuff that weren't in place. Hopefully I softened that a bit, not sure of the effect I produced.
