What an ISNANELY GOOD video for beginners or returning players! Love the detailed break down, you left very little unexplained, or underinformed. I'm absolutely going to recommend this video to my friends whenever they get on D2 with me. Great job!
I'm a returning player and I was quite confused on what was going on in Destiny 2. Thanks to your video, it helped me a lot get into the game. I miss the old stuff and DLC tho...
@@ami443I also like having content I payed hundreds of dollars for. I have spent a combined 140 dollars on d2. I have none of the campaigns i payed for.
I was doing a good job keeping up. Then around loot sectors my mind was getting overwhlemed. It's mad how much they have in this game. Good job covering all this
I played a lot of Destiny when the Taken King came out. I was about 10 years old. I'm returning to Destiny 2 almost 9 years later, and although I'm having fun, I need to fully understand the game, because a lot has changed.
I played this game when it was still in Beta. I remember when Xur first spawned, I remember the first new Exotic that dropped post-release (Rat something, it was a pistol), and I remember watching the video of the first team ever to beat the first raid. I just came back today on a different platform and felt completely lost. Thank you for the guide!
@@muaadhgilani9740 I can confirm what every review under the sun says, the writing of the Light fall campaign really is cringe worthy and disheartening. The new seasonal activity isn't great imho. That being said, Strand is a blast, and the game is filled to the brim with content that is new to me. Besides just as I come back without a clan, the game introduces the party finder feature. So far so good for me. Last time I played, was the Witch Queen campaign. That was the best time, on par with the Taken King.
Out of the blue a couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend asked if we could play d2 together. Obviously I said yes, and I could barely contain my excitement, but I also knew that it would probably be overwhelming for her to try and get stuck in. Hell, it's overwhelming for me when I miss a season and I've been playing since launch. This video is unbelievably well put together and comprehensive, and it provides detailed explanations without going off the rails (as I am wont to do). It covers so much in only half an hour, and the structure, pacing, and style make it easy to watch in one sitting. And once you've watched it, you can come back and jump around or rewatch sections as you learn and explore the game. Amazing, amazing resource, thank you so much for all the time and effort that went into it.
THANK YOU! I was completely lost when I decided to try the game on my PS5, overwhelmed by the complexity of the menu, lore and system, but it's starting to grow on me now :)

After this video, I finally feel ready again to hop back in today! All of a sudden the game does not seem so overwhelming anymore for a returning player. Thanks a ton!

@@jameschristopher2540 its kind of a similar freeform concept. If you dont like open world sandbox games then it makes sense you might not like d2 because they dont do the guided story or immersive gameplay very well. It's a tad overwhelming as a new player I would progress the tutorial area and log out to get lunch or something, come back and the game auto puts me into the DLC, I have no idea what's happening or anything it is jarring. I was hoping to be able to have some sort of canonical progression. But I suppose I will figure it out lol thanks for the tips though the guide was really helpful.
I just started playing destiny 2 again. I bought it at launch and stopped playing a little bit after the first raid came out. This is not destiny 2 at least the one I played this is a completely different game. I mean absolutely nothing is the same it’s insane.
I was confused with starting at 1900 power right away. Now I just genuinely don't know what to do after doing some of the into quests. I'd like to do the story in order, but when I track certain quests it doesn't show where to go. I literally want to just play, and know where to go, and what the end goal is. I played a ton of destiny 1 and destiny 2 the first year or 2 it was out.
I chose hunter when destiny came out... Revisited and it seemed they've thrown everything together from enemies, to the abilities ect everything is now mixed

i was a hunter but the warlock is just amazing
I started on Titan and while still playing them often, it's nothing compared to my Warlocks hours
Was that thundercrash on one dreg I actually feel bad for that dreg 😅
This game is so complicated to understand. I felt so lost before watching this video. I still feel list but not so lost lol
Other than Lightfall and Beyond Light, Is it worth it to complete all the campaigns for all my guardians?
I just started playing destiny 2 again. I bought it at launch and stopped playing a little bit after the first raid came out. This is not destiny 2 at least the one I played this is a completely different game. I mean absolutely nothing is the same it’s insane.
Yeah it has changed so wildly each year!
Get crafting unlocked, combined raghild with ammit, and enjoy the rest of the game! Welcome to destiny 2 :)
lol yeah the crafting this week is quite a bit different 😂
They patched it today
Ragnild Rufus with Rewind and Target Lock was great buzz for Raid bosses
The video is rly good but i am still so overwhelmed. But thanks for the video
Wooooooo Pattycakes Viddddd
Amazing breakdown bro I appreciate it ! 💥
I chose hunter when destiny came out... Revisited and it seemed they've thrown everything together from enemies, to the abilities ect everything is now mixed
