I found that moving the balance back just a little from the center and lowering the lowest frequency just little below the baseline was best. It’s a great audio system and I notice that the sound definitely gets better as you play it.. which is normal with new hifi of course. Enjoy your new toys! I’m loving mine so much… my wife has become a Tesla widow.. poor girl. Then again she loves it too and is surprised how comfortable the seats are. then again our last car was also a Chevy Bolt (or Open Ampera-E as it’s known here in EU).
I put an order for RW LR Model 3 around July 12 and was approved for 6% financing. I initially chose blue/white which ended up being delayed. Once the 1.99% financing was announced in Aug, I realized I like the standard grey/black combo and I was able to switch colors and financing I picked it up yesterday. Only had to wait a 1 week after making the change. I was debating on the AWD LR which is $5000 more, but I am more than happy with my decision.
I started looking at EVs because of The Ioniq 5. Ultimately it came down to Hyundai not being on NACS yet that ruled it out. I will take delivery of a refreshed LR this week!
Thank you. Finally a review of a model 3 that doesn't hate the "lack of stalks". Your experience echos mine test driving both the Model 3 AWD and the S4. It was no issue even in round-abouts. It helps to keep your hands on the wheel on either side above the centre piece where the bumps are (as is intended).
Congrats🎉🎉🎉 I'm so jealous. I can't wait for my turn. I placed my order for the M3 LR stealth grey black interior beginning of February and it now says should be ready for delivery in about two weeks!!! Can't wait first EV. Super stoked. Can't wait to be part of Tesla family. Phoenix AZ
I was inspired to buy my 2023 Bolt after watching your videos! Unfortunately, 8 months into ownership I hit a deer with it and it has been in the shop waiting on parts for the last 5 months. Not happy with GM. Maybe I will end up swapping to a Tesla and follow in your foot steps once again 😅 Congrats on the dream car and looking forward to your future videos!
Congrats! I currently have an '18 Model 3 RWD, '23 Crosstrek 2.5, and '23 Bolt EUV, so we have similar taste. My only dislikes about the Model 3 after almost 6 years are to do with the form factor. It's a low car with a low roofline. Even at 5'9 getting in and out means squatting low, and ducking my head and using my right leg to slide my butt in the rest of the way. The other is maneuverability/length - Model 3 wheelbase is almost as long as a Chevy Tahoe. Two point turns in the Crosstrek and Bolt EUV are three point turns in the Model 3. Tight shopping center lots and intersections mean sticking the front end into the opposite lane to avoid clipping a rear wheel if you're used to driving a shorter car. Other than that, it's the most comfortable for longer trips.
At 5'3" I love getting in and out of my '21 M3LR, but lease is almost up. I tried getting into a Model Y and had to climb to get in, not easy for me, like an obscene F350 p/u that almost needs a ladder for me to get in. I hope to get the OK to order a '24 M3LR this week.
Congratulations! I’ve enjoyed reading the comments from so many interested people! Very cool! I loved my amazing “Look what I got, Grammy!” ride I had a few nights ago in the same model! I especially enjoyed the light and sound show where the car shows off! Super review. The views you set up everywhere on the video really helped. Looking forward to your upcoming reviews! Enjoy your new smooth ride!
First of all, Congrats on your Model 3! You can't go wrong with that one. I actually just purchased a Bolt EUV this month & your videos helped me. Thank you. I was thinking you would go with a SRMY, but get why you went with the 3. I actually test drove the Highland & considered leasing it. The deal was too good for the new EUV though (also had a significant GM Loyalty Certificate). We also have a MYLR so I still get to drive that. Enjoy!
Thank you for review! Just came from test drive of this car. Really the best. it's not just EV car, it's Smart Car what is more important. I don't knew why people's complaints to quality of interior of this car , maybe just because they are comparing Model 3 with Mercedes or BMW, but for me the quality are more better that other cars in this price range. What's more important base Model 3 has all safety futures and you don't need to over for pay them. My congratulations, Drive Safe, Enjoy your new Car !!!
I’ll be taking delivery of my long range Model 3 here at the end of March. Have had a 2010 Corolla since 2015 (senior year of high school) so I’m pretty excited. Have wanted a Tesla since 2018
It grew on me. Before the Highland model came out I was toying with getting the Y, but now Im glad I pulled the trigger on the 3, its sporty & so much more refined - and way faster than all of my previous sports cars, even though its a RWD (one motor & LFP battery) I can see why many people love their M3's. I went for the 18" wheels, they look great with the plastic covers off.
I have a 2023 model 3 RWD and test drove the highland RWD. The highland seems much slower flooring it in standard acceleration. It feels less punchy than my 2023. However; the bass is MUCH better in the highland than my ‘23. And yes, I replicated the bass/mid/treble settings
I have heard similar things about the acceleration curve between ‘23 & ‘24. It’s interesting It seems like it’s artificially slowed off the line, but at speed it will punch.
I have the dual version. When fully charged the display say 540km but that is a big lie, I would say max 430km max. The brakes sqeeks too, I have had this car since january(live in Sweden).
Just picked up my 2024 M3AWDLR 12/10. It’s an amazing car. I got a demo with 1500 miles . For an awesome deal MSRP $47,490 -$7500 tax credit - $4950 demo discount -$1000 referral 0% financing Free super charging 3 months FSD free 3 months Price $34040 Solid car I’m happy
Just subbed! Been wanting a model 3 since they came out. Waiting for the ludicrous to hit. Currently rockin a 17 Golf R all done up so I’m chillin lol. Great vid!
Congrats. I sold recently my 2022 Bolt EUV Premier. Was debating a lot to go with Tesla model 3 standard. However found 2023 KIA Niro Ev lease deal for less than $400 month business lease. for 24 months.
Owe exactly same car since December last year. Best car I ever had. Performing and elegant not to mention the price. Tried many EV's but this one was my clear choice.
Amazing car! Congrats with it. Was in between this Stealth Grey and Deep Blue (as my current ‘21 Model 3 is) but chose the blue again. Love blue but this looks stunning. Looking forward to my new ‘24 RWD in a couple of weeks 👏🏼👏🏼
Its kinda crazy how similar my situation is to yours I literally was just driving a chevy bolt euv for a while and now you and i own the exact same car, AND i just got mine about a week ago
Congrats 🎉 In my country, the price of Tesla model 3 long range is nearly the same as Hyundai ioniq 6 AWD, and it’s quite hard for me to choose one. From your experience, what’s the major difference between these two? Which one is much quieter and comfortable? Thanks!
I'd like an option when I hit the indicator that 2 large indicators would appear on the screen which you could tap on as an alternative option. Mostly because we have more roundabouts here than traffic lights 😅
You are correct on Bolt build quality. It's not the Bolt's fault, it's just that GM built it and it has the same GM quality issues that all GM vehicles have. I gave two Bolts a try....a 2022 and 2023, and both had the same quality problems. It's sad because we loved the vehicle, but just got tired of the song and dance at the dealership. Was going to get 2024 Model 3 but insurance cost was...shocking. I am sure someone will comment that "I haven't had any issues with my Bolt" and that is great, maybe it was my bad luck. I think it's hit or miss. Sometimes, you get a good one, sometimes you don't. Oh well.
It is sad. Mine was overall great except for a few little things here and there. But the all hard plastic interior just weighs on you over time. But you’re right… that’s thanks to GM. I drove a Silverado EV WT recently… $80,000, all plastic. Felt the exact same as the bolt. I get it’s a WT but…come on
Good looking Tesla!!! Tesla is in the back of my head too. Last May we bought our first EV, bZ4X, then the Lightning. I am still considering a Tesla for the next one........ Enjoy your vehicle!!!
So the blinker stalk is no problem you say.. but you only show the most basic situation where the wheel is in standard rotation. What about when you're in different roundabouts of different radius, perhaps a multi lane roundabout and you're in the inner lane, and need to signal that you're switching lanes to get out, while also looking in the right side mirror that it's safe to switch lanes? That's a very real scenario in Europe and I just can't fathom how you can get "muscle memory" when the button will be in different places every roundabout...
I hear you for sure. We have almost no roundabouts in my city. And they’re far less common in the US. I think there will be some third party stalks you could add on.
I’m from Europe specifically UK and we have tons of roundabouts all different sizes. The key to using this stalkless design is hand placement. There is a a small bump that separates the indicators on the wheel. As you’re moving around the roundabout, you’ll find the ridge. With the wheel upright, top is right and bottom is left. So as you turn, you’ll know which to press if hothead wheel is no longer upright. I took the refresh for 2 long test drives and the first thing I tested was roundabouts. You get used to it fairly quickly. If you haven’t already, just book a test drive even if you’re not looking to buy. Experience it for yourself
@@UchejnrThank you for clarifying. Does this mean that you use your right hand to press the buttons if the wheel is turned enough so that the buttons are closer to the right side? Or do you follow the buttons with your left hand as you turn the wheel around and just use right hand to hold the wheel? Hope that question made sense :P
So the minute I turn the steering wheel and let's say the indicators are going past 12 oclock, I will then place my right hand where they are positioned so that I don't lose placement of them as the wheel continues to rotate. You soon find that you no longer have to look because from the get go that right hand is essentially following the indicators so it's a matter of getting ready to press the exit signal. Hope that's not confusing @@Tanax13
Sure… and now I’m watching a video with Jay Leno talking to the engineers. I mean this is one Cool Car! So speaking of cool and I’m in Hendersonville NC you’re in Kentucky, pretty temperate but full four seasons… I leave my Bolt on with the AC or heat when needed to keep my little Shih Tzu safe and comfortable. Can you remote start and keep the Tesla M3 running? Also you said it has a great sound system and I’ve got the Bose but how do you play your music? I saw the Apple logo and Spotify. Does it have CarPlay or Alexa. Who is your voice AI and navigation map?
I got a 23 RWD like yours, same color. Its been a really nice car, the LFP battery is a great positive over other cars as well, don't think you mentioned it.
There are Blinker problem if you drive in a roundabout - Fix of Auto vipers, don't hold your breath, problems have existed forever, your solution is the one I use as well, but you have to do it every time you activate the autopilot, that sucks.
I really like my Bolt EUV, I paid cash for it brand new and expecting to keep it as long as possible - hopefully at least ten years. I think a Model 3 will be my next car whenever that time comes.
Sorry to say, but the 2023 RWD and the 2024 RWD are two entirely different cars, but with the same badge (I had a 2021 LR and now have ordered the 2024)
Hey Louis congrats on your new ride, I had a feeling you were going to get one. I'm guessing you didn't go with the Y because it hasn't been refreshed yet, despite being the better deal of the two , when you consider the federal tax credit. I can see how excited you are , no other car gives the excitement as a Tesla. Sit down and wait for the wiper update, because they being saying that to since I got my first Tesla 3 years ago, y got a model Y next and to my surprise the wipers were still possed!, lol. Very enjoyable cars, but after 4 years I got tire of the up and down pricing, Musks shenanigans and the ever increasing insurance., so i got something else. But i'm happy for you its going to bring a smile to your face every time you drive it. Show us how it looks with out the aero covers, I haven't seen the new wheel underneath. Anyway enjoy the ride.
Correct, I looked at the Y and I really do like it. Had I been deciding between two updated models I probably go with the Y. But yes, I have heard similar things as far as the wiper update goes. We’ll see! 😅 I can definitely understand the pricing concerns. Completely valid! Thanks so much for watching and following along 🙏🏻
Very good review, you did an awesome job there! Some other reviewers said the seats are not that comfortable, so interesting to hear that in your experience they indeed are. May be subjective 👍
I also owned a 2022 Chevrolet Bolt euv and 4 days ago I took possession of the 2024Tesla standard range and I agree that the Tesla is overall superior. However, the Bolt had 2 useful options that the Tesla does not have. They are => 1) The Bolt had a power sunroof AND power sunroof cover & 2) when on self driving, you do not have to ever touch the steering wheel unlike the Tesla were you have to initiate micro torque on the steering wheel every ~ 20 seconds.
We love our 23 Bolt EUV. My first Chevy and first EV ever. But I’m getting car fever test driving cars and suddenly the M3 looks like a great option. How is it for packing and traveling? I leave mine on with the AC on for my shih tzu when I run into the grocery. I can lock it up yet keep it running. Can I do that in the Tesla? I just met a Tesla owner today who said he auto pilot drives to Atlanta to visit family and loves it!!! He’s old, like me 70-80, and driving can be nerve wracking. I would never play chess in the back seat but I like the idea of assisted driving. What has your experience been on the highway and around town? Congrats and Thanks!
Thanks, helpful (and comfort giving) review. I will have my Tesla model 3 in 2 weeks. The lack of stalks give me even more concern then you, since I live in Europe, where you will have to take several roundabouts each ride. You have to give light at leaving the roundabout, which with stalks, is part of your movement. Without stalks and with the steering wheel upsidedown, as well of the buttons, hmmm.
Really great review, your style of recording, communicating, and of choosing topics are just near-perfect. I have BTW also ordered my own M3 RWD, easy choice, my previous M3 LR 2021 was a great car, but Euros 9000 (Norway) extra for AWD is simply not worth it (have tested both RWD & AWD in February 24), considering the overall quality of the RWD, also in the winter. Keep the good reviews coming!
@@MetzTech I currently own a 2021 model 3 performance original owner. I have put over 90,000 miles on and and have enjoyed and loved every single mile I have put on that car. From performance to audio quality to technology to technology in my opinion it’s second to none. My only issue and complaint is the way the car drives especially on the freeway it can feel every SINGLE bump, and the noise from the road is very Very loud when you are going 80+ mph.
Congratulations on the Model 3, that is a sweet car! You mentioned testing a Chevy Equinox EV soon. Do you know when they are shipping? I ordered a Launch Edition in December and I was told it went into production on March 8th. I have a Chevy Bolt 2022 EUV Launch Edition I am trading for the Equinox.
Nice Job! And yes I was surprised by your choice but I now want to consider the Tesla so I guess that makes you an influencer 😮 in some ways I do like the minimalism clean interior and it’s very futuristic in that sense. I also like the fact that Tesla is ‘the most American made car’ says Bard. I was recently unable to charge my Bolt at a Tesla super charger despite having an adapter so apparently Tesla is controlling non Tesla access where as I assume that I could charge my Tesla at home or any J1772 outlet using an adapter. So my next step should be to rent a Tesla through Turo and get some experience with it. Congratulations and Thanks for another great video and keep them coming 😊
@Christine_perkins33 Yes, I’ve thought about test driving a Tesla, like I said I’m test driving everything else, but the closest dealership is 100 miles away so that’s a problem. That’s why I was thinking of renting one through Turo which would give my wife and I a better idea of how it would feel to own one. Thanks for the suggestion 😊
I got them from Tesmanian.com. They aren’t bad, they fit well. But not the most premium feel. But they were affordable. I got the full set, including frunk, trunk, and lower trunk for $134
I have a 1 year and 3 year review on the Bolt where I talked through all the issues, if you’re interested. But long story short I had several little issues and one larger issue. Oddly enough I had a door unlocking issue on my Bolt too… but on all the doors. So I guess I’m just cursed with unlocking troubles 😅
Great spec as we have just ordered our M3 with exact spec including colour. Noticed your charging ports are different to the ones we get in Australia. Can’t wait for it to arrive expected around end of April or early May. 🇦🇺
Only here because of and for the Tesla content. Similar to you, I want to pay Tesla for the better part of a decade for I eventually realized that. I started following Tesla way back in the Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear roadster a few days back way back when the model S was their latest vehicle… And eventually, just, few years ago, I was able to report my first model why. Crows and children are getting their driving license, just last month we bought our second - a 2022 model three. It has a few things that need to be fixed before it is roadworthy it was only$21,000 as they used vehicle. For a Tesla. Enjoy your vehicle.
Thanks for a really genuine review. I have a LR/White int/Stealth on order. Lots of delays but it will be worth it. Enjoy the new car. This is an incredible piece of machinery for the money - agreed.
For now you can mute it. I hope they change that law so that it can be turned off permanently instead of having to mute it every time you get into the car
Metz, As a new refreshed Model 3 owner, I am awaiting to hear about Tesla addressing the blind spot in front of the front bumper. Reverse parking is no problem with high resolution rear view cameras. However, parking forward in against a wall or an open parking bay, current Hi Fidelity Park Assist feature "STOP' gives way ahead of the ideal parking position. Hopefully future upgrade would address this issue. I would love to hear your comment on this issue. Ravi, Melbourne, Australia
This definitely is an issue. I have had to learn the car and just “know” when I have more space than the system says I do. Not great. I hope they allow front camera retrofits in the future. Or just better distance measuring 🙏🏻
Hello. Thanks for this. When you showed the buttons on the steering wheel, all the buttons were flickering. Does it flicker constantly? That would make me crazy! Thanks.
Did a test drive of this and the Model Y yesterday (As well as a '21 BMW X1 xDrive25e). It was surprisningly better than the previous Model 3, seats are very comfortable, less noise from wind and road (on winter tyres), not as stiff in the suspension while still being very sporty. No stalk for turn signals is outright dangerous and stupid for a country like norway where I drive more than fifty roundabouts for each intersection or stop light, but it isn't a dealbraker for me personally. Tesla vision seems really bad from reviews I've seen and the little experience I have, just a lot of problems I won't have to deal with if I go with a BMW for instance. Something about the Tesla though still has me really wanting to buy one (the price mostly). The Highland is just such a good looking and fun to drive car and software updates might make tesla vision features better with time. Big congratz on getting one! I'm sure you'll enjoy it and I'll look forward to more videos on it.
I got them from Tesmanian.com. not the most premium feel. But they were affordable. I got the full set, including frunk, trunk, and lower trunk for $134
I got mine March 7, and I actually have a dent in my hood. I’m not sure if this is a common issue with tesla, but my frunk is a little misaligned and it’s hard to spot it at first, but now I can clearly see it every time. Im not sure if tesla can just replace it for free, or they will charge me. Hopefully they can get it done🙏
They recently updated the high fidelity park assist and it’s much better now. It was a bit dicey in the beginning. It also just helps to know your car a little better. Once I got my head around the size I had no issues, plus the updated park assist has been super helpful in my garage
I was never a fan of the old Model 3 (too bland for my taste), but this refresh just checks all the right boxes. I can't wait to see what they do with the upcoming performance variant.
With Auto Shift, do you feel the need to check which gear it's put you into before pressing the accelerator? I'd imagine there might be some niche situations where it might select the wrong gear, or maybe not? Interested in hearing your results from the real world
It shows pretty clearly on screen, also when you’re in reverse the cameras pull up so you know if they don’t you’re in drive. I have only had one weird situation and it was pretty specific. I was in a drive thru and I opened my door to dump some water out. It automatically puts the car in park so when I closed the door it prompted me to tap the brake again, and when I did it automatically put me in reverse bc there was a car in front of me, but there was also a car behind me, so I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to reverse. But that’s a super specific scenario and was just a simple swipe to fix it.
I have a 2008 c300 rwd with a harmon Kardon Audio system. My parents have a model Y and is not on par with the Mercedes Harmon Kardon System. Is the speakers on the 2024 model 3 better than the 2023 Y ?
Are you happy that you ended up financing the car for the long haul vs leasing? I have been debating the same thing... I ordered a model 3 Performance with leasing in mind. I do wish that Tesla had the option to purchase after the lease. But this is my first Tesla and honestly I wanted the refreshed Model Y Performance. So felt leasing the M3P may be the best choice due to high interest rates.
It’s a tough decision. Unfortunately I didn’t have the option to lease in KY. Otherwise I probably would have. I think leasing EVs makes the most sense right now. But I couldn’t so I had to purchase. Not having lease buyouts really sucks tho
@@MetzTech I feel you’re right and leasing makes a lot of sense for an EV. This is my first EV and my first Tesla. After the 3 years is up it will be interesting to see what the EV landscape looks like, what Tesla will look like. As well, perhaps Tesla reverses their stance over 3 year term and allow the option to buy out the lease.
Please create more content about Tesla. While there are many Tesla videos on UA-cam, most of them are about the LR versions, but I believe the RWD version is more suitable as a first Tesla. Many reviews focus on comparing it to older Tesla models or comparing it to gasoline cars. It would be great if you can talk more about the differences between the 2024 RWD model 3 and the Bolt as an entry-level electric car. For example, is there anything you miss from the Bolt that the new Model 3 doesn't have or not as good? Overall driving experience such as road noise, suspension, etc., is there a significant improvement?
By the way, I initially started considering purchasing a Bolt after checking out your channel. Your content on the Bolt is the best on UA-cam. Now I'm struggling to decide between buying a Model 3 or a Bolt/Ioniq 😂
The blinkers are shxx when driving true roundaboutes. For then you need to change blinkers, going out of roundab, the buttons is not where one wants it.
I dont think FSD is available for 2024 M3 yet. I've seen people posting that if you subscribe it will show "FSD will be available later with an update"
First person to express how I feel about the minimalism. A lack of “design clutter” really just puts me at ease.
Exactly. It’s relaxing. 😌
Also glad to hear the audio is good in the RWD, as I have one arriving any day.
Me too - I’m getting this exact car. Can’t wait. Best of luck with your M3!
I have a highland rwd. Audio is ok, not going to blow you away by any means, but not horrible. Using the equalizer you can pump up the bass and treble to make it better
Agreed. You can tune it a bit to make it better. For me, even not tuned, it’s wayyy better than my Bolt was.
I found that moving the balance back just a little from the center and lowering the lowest frequency just little below the baseline was best. And I found that you can also leave the ambient surround mode thing at it’s highest setting. If the bass is to high the highest ambient setting tends to make it sound boomy. It’s a great audio system and I notice that the sound definitely gets better as you play it.. which is normal with new hifi of course. Enjoy your new toys! The audio was very good even in the pre Highland RWD. I also had the S with high fidelity sound, and the RWD 3 in my opinion sounded just as good.
I test drove it the other day and boy it has matured like a fine wine.
I put an order for RW LR Model 3 around July 12 and was approved for 6% financing. I initially chose blue/white which ended up being delayed. It helps to keep your hands on the wheel on either side above the centre piece where the bumps are (as is intended).
The stalks are gone for one reason: to lower costs and increase profits for Tesla Corporation.
because most people dont ride elon all day even if we like tesla. dont always need to glaze a cost cut that solved a problem that didnt exist lmao
It really does feel like a more logical system. Less hand movement. Makes sense to me cost savings or not. Thanks for watching!
I’m not one to really be bothered but out of the box changes, regardless of the reason
If it was simply to cut costs then why the better interior and lighting, better suspension, better audio, acoustic glass, upgraded cameras, etc.?
Congrats🎉🎉🎉 I'm so jealous. I can't wait for my turn. I placed my order for the M3 LR stealth grey black interior beginning of February and it now says should be ready for delivery in about two weeks!!! Can't wait first EV. Super stoked. Can't wait to be part of Tesla family. Phoenix AZ

I’ll be taking delivery of my long range Model 3 here at the end of March. Have had a 2010 Corolla since 2015 (senior year of high school) so I’m pretty excited. Have wanted a Tesla since 2018
That’s awesome! It’ll be worth the wait.
Congrats! 🎉
I've been only interested in the S but this week I've been looking at the 3 its growing on me.
It’s the new baby model S ☺️
It grew on me. Before the Highland model came out I was toying with getting the Y, but now Im glad I pulled the trigger on the 3, its sporty & so much more refined - and way faster than all of my previous sports cars, even though its a RWD (one motor & LFP battery)
I can see why many people love their M3's.
It’s interesting
It seems like it’s artificially slowed off the line, but at speed it will punch.
I have the dual version. When fully charged the display say 540km but that is a big lie, I would say max 430km max. The brakes sqeeks too, I have had this car since january(live in Sweden).
Good to know. Even when you drive like a grandma range is still low?
Team Sweden 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
awesome video! I'm getting mine the 31st ! I needed AWD because I live in the northeast where we have winter storms!
That’s awesome! Congrats, Julia 🎉

Hell of a deal!
I am poor so the nissan leaf is looking good they are like 13k used in great shape
You can get used Bolts around that price. Better value IMO
Congrats on your new model 3. That was a very thorough review of the model 3 refresh.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Just subbed! Been wanting a model 3 since they came out. Waiting for the ludicrous to hit. Currently rockin a 17 Golf R all done up so I’m chillin lol. Great vid!
Thanks so much! The ludicrous is going to be just that! Hope I can get my hands on one for a video 🤞🏼
Congratulations she's a beaut. I just got a Model Y RWD because I need more space, but the driving dynamics of the 3 is better.
Very nice! Still love the MY!
Congrats. I sold recently my 2022 Bolt EUV Premier. Was debating a lot to go with Tesla model 3 standard. However found 2023 KIA Niro Ev lease deal for less than $400 month business lease. for 24 months.
The Niro is one I have not driven! I’ll have to check it out
Congratulations on the new ride. You can't go wrong with the model 3. 🚗🇺🇲🔌⚡
Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice review man. I will be picking up mine this Friday. Black exterior , black interior ,AWD. Exciting times . 😁
Congrats! 🍾 Thanks for watching
Owe exactly same car since December last year. Best car I ever had. Performing and elegant not to mention the price. Tried many EV's but this one was my clear choice.
Congrats on the new whip👍🏼
Just got a 24 MYP a couple weeks back…I now love driving again.
Funny how that works isn’t it? 😆😆
Thanks so much 🙏🏻 congrats on the MY 🎊
Amazing car! Congrats with it. Was in between this Stealth Grey and Deep Blue (as my current ‘21 Model 3 is) but chose the blue again. Love blue but this looks stunning. Looking forward to my new ‘24 RWD in a couple of weeks 👏🏼👏🏼
All the colors look great IMO. But the stealth grey for free?? Hard to beat 🤙🏻 Congrats on yours as well!
Congrats on joining the Tesla family!
Thanks, Michael!
Its kinda crazy how similar my situation is to yours
I literally was just driving a chevy bolt euv for a while and now you and i own the exact same car, AND i just got mine about a week ago
Hey, twin! 😅 Congrats on the new car 🥂
@@MetzTech same to you bro! 😄
Man that is a SLICK car. I'm here for the journey!
Congrats 🎉
In my country, the price of Tesla model 3 long range is nearly the same as Hyundai ioniq 6 AWD, and it’s quite hard for me to choose one. From your experience, what’s the major difference between these two? Which one is much quieter and comfortable? Thanks!
Oh man, Chris. Do I have the video for you.
Just filmed a direct comparison between the model 3 and Ioniq 6! It will be on the channel soon
I'd like an option when I hit the indicator that 2 large indicators would appear on the screen which you could tap on as an alternative option.
Mostly because we have more roundabouts here than traffic lights 😅
Looking forward you could podcast to share your thoughts on Rivian R2, R3 and R3X versus Model Y or/and Model 3 Thanks
Definitely will be talking about them over on @MetzTalk
I get it’s a WT but…come on
Awww its so nice to see that you enjoy it. I can’t wait for my lr in stealth grey
:)
Congratulations 🎊
Great demo ! Fight-on !
Congratulations 🎉 I just picked up my refreshed Model 3 RWD. I am loving it so far.
Awesome! 👏🏼 what color did you get?
@@MetzTechI got it in blue!
Nice!
When did you place your order?
@@mgonza46place on February 20 and received March 8.
Everybody complains about the auto wipers. I'm pretty happy with the way they work on my '21 M3LR, not sure why others have problems.
They are never at the right speed and often do not start when needed. Good if you are happy but any car I drove has better ones…
Beautiful car man. Enjoy it!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
Good looking Tesla!!! Tesla is in the back of my head too. Last May we bought our first EV, bZ4X, then the Lightning. I am still considering a Tesla for the next one........
Enjoy your vehicle!!!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
if youre still stucking using the e release. lower the window yourself so that the trim doesnt get damaged
It’s been fixed for awhile thankfully 🙏🏻
When switch lanes the blind spot indicators are very good and tbh, I actually don’t use my mirrors 😂😂😂 because of how useful I find the cameras.
This review was presented very well. Thank you. Great job
Thanks so much! 🙏🏻
Awesome video! I too ordered a 2024 Model 3. Same color and features. I'm supposed to receive it in May of this year.
Thanks so much! Did you get RWD or AWD?
Great video. Really enjoyed it, a great in depth look at this car and its features.
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
Get mine tomorrow morning morning, Crossing my fingers on not having to get anything fixed. Super exited solid review!
Ooo that’s exciting. Congrats 🍾
Should have used a referral to get FSD trial for three months.
They weren’t doing it on the M3, it doesn’t have FSD yet
I got a 23 RWD like yours, same color. Its been a really nice car, the LFP battery is a great positive over other cars as well, don't think you mentioned it.
True! About the same range charged to 100% as the LR charged to 80% as recommended!
There are Blinker problem if you drive in a roundabout - Fix of Auto vipers, don't hold your breath, problems have existed forever, your solution is the one I use as well, but you have to do it every time you activate the autopilot, that sucks.
I can see that for sure in roundabouts, we just don’t have many of them.
I really like my Bolt EUV, I paid cash for it brand new and expecting to keep it as long as possible - hopefully at least ten years. I think a Model 3 will be my next car whenever that time comes.
its nice but I just got my 2024 MYLR for 44k-7500=36500, I wish it had some stuff that the refresh has like AC seats but other than that I love it!
I have a 2023 RWD and it's amazing! I think you will be super happy with your 2024!
I love it!
Sorry to say, but the 2023 RWD and the 2024 RWD are two entirely different cars, but with the same badge (I had a 2021 LR and now have ordered the 2024)
@@parsifal102 I know they are remodeled, I was meaning he will happy with his Tesla.
We’ll see! 😅
I can definitely understand the pricing concerns. Completely valid!
Thanks so much for watching and following along 🙏🏻
Had mine about 2 weeks, can't recommend it enough. You get A LOT of car for this price, easily the best Tesla to date.
You really do. Impossible value to beat
Very good review, you did an awesome job there! Some other reviewers said the seats are not that comfortable, so interesting to hear that in your experience they indeed are. May be subjective 👍
I think it is solely based on subjective experience. But coming from my Bolt… different planet 😅
I understand peoples reservation about the wide open glass but I love it. Makes the cabin feel very large.
Maybe in the summer I’ll change my mind 😅
Update this AM. My model 3 is estimated to be delivered soon! 🇨🇦
Yes!!👏🏼
Thanks, helpful (and comfort giving) review. I will have my Tesla model 3 in 2 weeks. The lack of stalks give me even more concern then you, since I live in Europe, where you will have to take several roundabouts each ride. You have to give light at leaving the roundabout, which with stalks, is part of your movement. Without stalks and with the steering wheel upsidedown, as well of the buttons, hmmm.
I have heard this concern a lot. And it’s valid!
I take delivery of mine this coming Thursday. Super excited.
Congrats 🎉
Really great review, your style of recording, communicating, and of choosing topics are just near-perfect. I have BTW also ordered my own M3 RWD, easy choice, my previous M3 LR 2021 was a great car, but Euros 9000 (Norway) extra for AWD is simply not worth it (have tested both RWD & AWD in February 24), considering the overall quality of the RWD, also in the winter. Keep the good reviews coming!
Thanks so much for the kind words 🙏🏻
Congrats on the new Model 3! 🎉
Very professional and lovely video wow 👌👍
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
@@MetzTech I currently own a 2021 model 3 performance original owner.
Thanks, Paul!
I know of two that are being built that we are supposed to get around April-May!
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
@Christine_perkins33 Yes, I’ve thought about test driving a Tesla, like I said I’m test driving everything else, but the closest dealership is 100 miles away so that’s a problem. That’s why I was thinking of renting one through Turo which would give my wife and I a better idea of how it would feel to own one. Thanks for the suggestion 😊
Nice vid, where did you get your floor mats? Do you like them?
I got them from Tesmanian.com. They aren’t bad, they fit well. But not the most premium feel. But they were affordable. I got the full set, including frunk, trunk, and lower trunk for $134
Did the Bolt have that many problems after u took delivery? Seems like Tesla's QC is having some issues.
Congratulations!
Thank you!
Great spec as we have just ordered our M3 with exact spec including colour. Noticed your charging ports are different to the ones we get in Australia. Can’t wait for it to arrive expected around end of April or early May. 🇦🇺
Congratulations 🥂
Can the rear display load .mp4 movies via USB flash or USB hard drive connected to the USB-C ports under it in the back seat?
Not that I know of
But woodgrain looks so good wymmm😩😩
We will have to agree to disagree on that one. Looks super cheap to me. Fake premium
It will be worth it! When is it supposed to arrive? I have heard the LR/white has been pushing orders back for some reason
@@MetzTech looking like April-May!
@@MetzTechsomething is up with the white interior. If you go spec one with black the order time changes.
@@stresspro4085most buyers show late April to sometime in May. It's your white interior is why. Keep holding, it will be worth it.
My white long range AWD M3 should be here today.
Nice!!
it will beep at drivers in Europe because if you go 1 km over the speed limit you will know about it.
For now you can mute it. I hope they change that law so that it can be turned off permanently instead of having to mute it every time you get into the car
I definitely noticed that when watching overseas reviews. It doesn’t do that here in the US….yet,
Metz, As a new refreshed Model 3 owner, I am awaiting to hear about Tesla addressing the blind spot in front of the front bumper.
@@MetzTechExactly right. One of your solutions should be implemented. Thanks for your reply.
Hello. Thanks for this. When you showed the buttons on the steering wheel, all the buttons were flickering. Does it flicker constantly? That would make me crazy! Thanks.
No it doesn’t! That’s just the camera
OK then! I'll go test drive. Thanks a bunch! anne@@MetzTech
Thanks so much! Shoutout to Norway 🇳🇴
What kind of floor mat are those?
I got them from Tesmanian.com. not the most premium feel. But they were affordable. I got the full set, including frunk, trunk, and lower trunk for $134
I got mine March 7, and I actually have a dent in my hood. I’m not sure if this is a common issue with tesla, but my frunk is a little misaligned and it’s hard to spot it at first, but now I can clearly see it every time. Im not sure if tesla can just replace it for free, or they will charge me. Hopefully they can get it done🙏
Oh man, that is unfortunate. I haven’t noticed that on mine. Hopefully they will fix it and get it done quickly!
Hows the accuracy with parking head in to a spot? Any close calls with hitting objects or parking stones?
They recently updated the high fidelity park assist and it’s much better now. It was a bit dicey in the beginning. It also just helps to know your car a little better. Once I got my head around the size I had no issues, plus the updated park assist has been super helpful in my garage
FSD is really not worth $12k unless one is daily driving to work for long distance. I think regular autopilots is more than sufficient
I definitely want to try it just for fun. But I think you’re right
I was never a fan of the old Model 3 (too bland for my taste), but this refresh just checks all the right boxes. I can't wait to see what they do with the upcoming performance variant.
I am also looking forward to seeing, and maybe driving, the ludicrous variant 😍
On the dual motor, yes. Definitely
Do the gray door panels get dirty quick?, do the material feel cheap?
No to both. Super easy to clean, doesn’t feel cheap
@@MetzTech good to know!
Was the under the screen fan fixed? or is it always on? How about the exterior noise?
I posted an update video last week. They didn’t fix the fan. Still does it 🫠
Are you happy that you ended up financing the car for the long haul vs leasing?
I'm considering the M3 RWD coming from a BMW 335xi sedan. I live in PA where it snows often. Do you think I will run into issues?
I have yet to drive it in snow. But it’s been raining like crazy lately and the thing grips the road like Velcro. It’s wild.
Are you disappointed now that the LR RWD is out with a 363 mile range that is basically the same price after the tax incentive?
I’m disappointed that the LR AWD is cheaper than what mine was 😆 ah well
I love this guy
❤️
I definitely will! I have a video coming soon where I will be directly comparing my Bolt and my model 3! Hope that helps you to decide
Just ordered one, great review thx dude 💯👌🏼🙏🏼👍🏻
Thank you! Congrats 🎊
The blinkers are shxx when driving true roundaboutes. For then you need to change blinkers, going out of roundab, the buttons is not where one wants it.
I hear that a lot. I can imagine it isn’t easy. We just don’t have many of those here
I dont think FSD is available for 2024 M3 yet. I've seen people posting that if you subscribe it will show "FSD will be available later with an update"
Yep! That’s where I’m at right now. Just waiting
"you don't have to swipe if you don't want to" unless you want to run into something in the 10-30% of times it gets the direction wrong :x
I haven’t had that issue so far
Very nice ride... the pricing on Teslas is really upside down at the moment, with Model Y's priced less than Model 3's.
It definitely is. Which is great but also scary.
Got a test drive yesterday and it’s miles better than the old model 3 I’m buying the bastard 😂
I have driven a few previous gen model 3s and I completely agree.
