4:11. As spotted above by @garyevan2872, seems to have been an accident followed by an oil spill. Spread the kitty-litter out to soak the oil up. There's a light post missing and the concrete light post base is sitting in the middle of the southbound lane in front of the small white truck. The light post and lamp shade can be seen under the white semi tractor at 3:58 bottom of screen. As good as any an illustration of the danger of driving new vehicles out of the factory to negotiate this quite busy road. Tunnel bypasses all of this chaos.
6:26 Yes, I speculated yesterday that they likely would be demolished. They were exact duplicate of the 8 concrete piles that support the small electrical building by the road. Guessing that either the gas pipeline project or the wastewater interceptor project forced a change in plans. Both pass under the tunnel.
@@DavidJohnson-tv2nn The tunnel was to be completed a long time ago, seems not unlikely the power box was originally located out of the way of (then) future pipeline construction but was able to be relocated to the preferred location given the cybertunnel delays
@@Gig0Surf I think the initial location was chosen because it was clear of the buried TBM crane installation pad. See Brad's 22 October video at 6.46. Demolition of that pad may have provided the opportunity to relocate, or the demolition was to allow relocation. Was also built significantly askew of the tunnel alignment for some reason.
7:01 a question to anyone who looked at the permits for the waste water interceptor. Whose name was it pulled in? At one point, years ago, Tesla was making noise about developing the campus out and getting the county or city to form a special taxing district to pay for all infrastructure work. Did this happen or is Tesla paying out of pocket for this? Just wondering if this is just another idea that got lost along the way.
The Tesla flag is back and flying at half mast, as seen in yesterday’s (1/8) Airwave Dynamics video. My guess is that they encountered a mechanical issue trying to lower it to half mast and had to just take it down until the issue could be resolved. Also a chance they noticed something wrong with flag when lowering it and it needed to be repaired or replaced.
I've been wondering if there's some rule about flying the corporate flag when the other flags are at half-staff? I don't recall hearing of such a thing.
part of the answer. I found nothing about corporate banners other than they are considered advertising. No such flag or pennant may be placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States flag's right. Therefore, when the US flag is flown at half-mast, other non-national flags should also fly at half-mast.No such flag or pennant may be placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States flag's right. Second try..... Thanks Brad! Wastewater Interceptor project: @ 7:01 Forms in place for vertical TBM work shaft. Note: Final shaft depth will likely be much deeper. Hydraulic jacks will then push pipe sections and a small TBM under the river. Bore diameter will be about 7 feet. Power poles: @ 2:22 (Upper left) A couple of power poles are being replaced in order to reroute power lines around the work area. New Megapack site: @ 10:43 Anew line of piles has been driven to the west with different spacing between them. Mega-vault: @ 11:29 Note the cable scraps on the ground and in the metal bin. At least some cables have been connected to the switchgear inside the white building. There appears to be 8 conduit risers coming up inside the substation. Same as for the other bays to the left. Substation Expansion project: @ 11:41 Left to right... Medium voltage and high voltage switchers installed on their support structures.

the web page for Bron and Claude shows Tesla's lithium plant!

The Tesla flag is a corporate/logo flag so it's seen as being used for marketing. You're supposed to remove it or also fly it @ half staff.
Out of respect for President Carter. 🇺🇸👍
6:26 - ! The eight concrete posts just behind the tunnel exit and the big silver cube seem to have disappeared?

Good catch! Looks like they may have been dug out, you can see all the marks left by bucket teeth where the dirt was smoothed out.

Cheers mate, great trip. The Cybertunnel CT exit looks kitsch
