Every since my kids were little we have been making Christmas gifts for family and friends. When they were very young they would potatoe print on paer bags and we would wrap the gifts with their paper. To this day we give handmade gifts. There is nothing better in my book! Thank you for sharing!
When our children were young my sisters and S.i.l.’s made hand made gifts for each other and we love and cherish them to this day! One sister made jewellery as a hobby and she said she would all make us a necklace if we made something for each other....we started simple...there were six of us in total. Crochet pot holders, fudge, home canned pickles...numerous personal Christmas ornaments, lots of cross stitched pieces..it was a blast! And the hubbys and kids were as excited as we were to see what we had made for each other. We still find our ornaments on each other’s trees. We tried to keep the cost down...but it was the creativity that we worked on for the whole year...coming up to Christmas. Made me smile through the whole video as it brought back wonderful memories! TFS!
Hi, not only were the gift ideas great but I mainly liked how you shared the love in your family and how you cherished their gifts to you. I am sure that they equally cherish your gifts to them. Thank you for sharing that sense of love with us
I found your channel while looking for ideas of something to make my kids teachers for end of year gifts. They work so hard and deserve something nice. I’m so happy I did because it has so much to offer. I appreciate your creativity and talent. You taught me something new. I love to craft and make craft videos too. I love making gifts it gives them an extra special touch!
I love these ideas so great my family well ive lost everyone but kids n grandkids so im head of familt now but since my kids was threeish yrs old i started the making cards they mean so much more and we make one gift from our hearts n myself n kids n grandkids do it too n i loved these gift ideas thank you
I love hand made gifts. Lots of my gifts I've made myself. I get my ideas from Pintrest and utube. My family loves them. I have made a family gift tradition. Every family member has a hand made Christmas stocking. As the children marry and babies are borne I make them a stocking. I started this even before i was aware of either Pintrest or utube
Wonderful ideas for home made gifts. Your sister in law is certainly a very creative person. I love the chalk board door, and I have made the candlestick plate. Actually it is a shallow candy dish made from a crystal ash tray (who smokes anymore but it was too pretty to toss) It looks lovely on a buffet table with mints in it. Thank you so much for sharing all your ideas, I am going to subscribe in the hopes you will show more. Have a Blessed day.
Great video. I do a lot of crafting, all needleworks, baking, cooking, preserving and paper craft. I found your video was sending my brain skittering in all directions as you talked about the various gift ideas. Do you have, or would you consider, writing a book on handcrafted gift giving? You have some great original ideas and I, for one, would love - and appreciate - more ideas from where these came from. ☺️Thank you so much for sharing. You’ve stirred my mojo and I’m off to create. 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺
These ideas are beautiful! I have been looking for someone like you that has fabulous gift ideas that are not too difficult but would mean the world to someone who received it! Thank you so much! I will be checking out your site also! Blessings! Lee
Thank you for sharing your gift ideas with us. I just got my sewing machine out of the closet after 4 years and I'm a little rusty. But I'm going to try to make the oven mit and hot pads. Blessings to you!
A favorite gift one year was a quart canning jar, filled with slips of paper to be written on throughout the year . The jar was labeled 2014 Moments of Joy… you could add Words of Wisdom, Dreams, Answered Prayers or Memories. Read through all the slips the next Christmas or New Year’s Eve. And be blessed!
What a lovely idea! I know how delighted I was when my granddaughter made me a cross stitch in a photo frame which said, I love you with little roses on the letters. I will certainly treasure that alll my life.
Beautiful ideas! I especially liked the game board - we used to play that for hours when I was a child, & spent many happy hrs. playing it with my Grandmother. We called it "Wahoo" ;-)
That's interesting. That game is a German classic. It's called "Mensch, ärgere dich nicht!" which means: "Human, don't get angry!" My sister once painted it on a beach blanket so she could sit at the beach and play. And she painted another one on a T-Shirt for the same purpose. She did the same with "nine men's morris" (the German name "Mühle" means "mill") and "checkers" (the German name "Dame" means "Lady").
@@henriettelinkshanderin1449 the beach blanket idea is brilliant! I work in an Oldies Home in Hamburg, Germany and we have it fixed into a table top. It's a popular game in the afternoons. The oldest regular player is 97! Our 100 year older prefers Rummi 😉
Thank you so much, what a raft of wonderful ideas. I liked them all and must admit I'm feeling inspired to get down my sewing machine to make some pot holders and oven mitts. Merry Christmas to you and your family! 😊💕
Lovely ideas thank you, and some novel ones too, always good. I feel a bit silly now though as I took the title to mean you actually made all the gifts in 6 minutes! Doh!
This was Awesome!!! I loved the clock ideas!! These are Great Gifts that People would love to get. I had never seen any of Your videos but I love this one. I also subscribed to Your channel also.

why would you want wooden tags with numbers on them? I have no idea what those would be used for.
It's a fun decor item you can use to help organize, too. :) See how I used them here: anoregoncottage.com/diy-wood-tags-three-ways/

Did anyone notice there is a bug near the one way sign
😂 I was wiping my screen before I read your comment. 😆
Eeeeekkkkk probably a spider
Looks like a fly or spider, who doesn’t see those in your home from time to time.
How did you notice that?! Lol, I watched it again and saw it myself.
I had to pause and scroll through the comments to see if anyone else noticed as well, lol

@@Dianah1952 Apparently you can make it yourself.
Sharon Whiteley ,
Everyone needs mugs?! - goodness no I am forever donating mugs because everyone I know has too many, I swear they multiply in the dishwasher.
Well, I should've said "special mugs" that you'll enjoy using because they are a memory. It's a good excuse to get rid of the others that aren't. :)
That went so fast and was so far away.. could barely hear what was being told or see what was shown
Its in 5 minutes since first 1:17 is wasted time
“People need mugs.”
No they don’t
Maybe you
I would happily get rid of regular mugs to fit a special memory mug on my shelf. :)
Great ideas!
Thanks!
