Thank you so much! This has really helped make my designs look a lot better! Before, I would take parts from pokemon and fakemon and assemble them to make a new one, but now, it's so much easier. I still can't draw heads very well though, and the body isn't the best, but I'll keep working on it. Tnx bud , this will help me a LOT , it also helped me from making a HUGE mistake in creating on of the starters , my fake region is .. VERY different , ( a quick sumurise is , im a big tmnt fan and pokemon fan and i wanna mix the two , in a atempt to make a region with mutants ( they are from tmnt if ya dont know wut they are they are humanoid animals , or humanoid objects ) that makes at least a LITTLE sense in the pokemon universe , my Region (the Mizue Region) is kinda like , in the pokemon world , they KNOW what cat, birds , dogs and exetra are but how? Pokemon are surley not that , and they dont have other animals than pokemon , so what IF long long ago WAY back in time , they did exist but as humanoid , like either they co-existed along side early humans or are the ANCESTORS to humans , so imagine thats the case , and many years ago instead of dying out they went deep underground with pokemon ansestors and ok this is to long already ,) Lets just say when creating leos starter i almost used a animal that was WAY wrong for its habbitat , tnx for preventing me from doing that!

Also another tip, if you're struggling, you can try and find other pokemon that share similar elements or designs as your fakemon, and try and make it a regional variant. If you want to make a grass type small dog pokemon, try making a grass type regional variant for yamper, lillipup, or rockruff for example. And from there you can make an original design
Flickering. Flickering is a flying-bug type. It's based on NOT A BUG, NOT A BIRD. It's based on a bubble,yes. A bubble. It's a colour changing bubble,with it's natural colour type being a gradient of baby blue and dark green. It's a shiny bubble that does look weird since it's a floating thingy- but whatever, I do me, you do you. And then, later on, it evolves into a.....FEESTRING! it looks more like a literal spider since it's a bug type... But a flying spider is weird, but that's why I like it ✨ I'm working on a custom generation, which is an animated series you can see but a notebook filled with ideas, atleast for me...

*When making Fakémon, do you use make up your own typing, like a light or omega type? I ask this because I do this and when I draw mine, the original types from Game Freak don’t fit with my Fakémon. I made a legendary and called it Pseutwrath, an Omega type.*
I'm thinking of making my own Pokemon, or rather "Fakemon", its type will be a Grass and Fighting type (I might change this in the future), it will have 3 evolutions, first evolution: PupBaa. Second evolution: HowlSheep. Third & Final evolution: Wolsheep. It is basically a sheep & wolf hybrid, the final evolution will look like the wolf & sheep hybrid in Aphmau's "Aphmau + Ein = ??? In Minecraft" video, that's what inspired me to make this "Fakemon", I'm still working on what the first two evolutions (PupBaa and HowlSheep) is gonna look like, I'm not super good at drawing yet so I still need to work on my drawing skills so it will be better for me to really get an example of what my Pokemon is going to look like. Its habitat will be the Woods, since its a legendary, it likes to keep its self hidden.
