You forgot one particular step when it comes to naming a Fakemon.
Trademarking it, so when Pokémon reveal a new Pokémon that uses your original Fakemon name, you can sue them for millions.
Dowdamalis, a sea cow Pokemon. Dowdamalis is from down (the sadness form of that word) and Hydrodamalis, the scientific name of a sea cow. I wanted to include something related to barnacles in there, but I couldn't squish it in right. Plus the name feels so right. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Kidscus: A Brazilian ibex kid mixed with a hibiscus flower
Grember: A griffin with gremlin energy mixed with ember
Octout: A blue-ringed octopus combined with knockout (it evolves into a boxer) and it sounds like “act out”

Starters of Africoa
Fire : Chillima a Lima that mostly takes it slow always calm yellow sharp shaped fluff on its ears
Water : dunno the name yet but it's a water snake twirled up like a tornado
Grass : Larvair a larva with a leaf for a parachute not much
If you read this can you give me some ideas for some more fakemon thanks if you do if you didn't know its quite obvious but the region is based on Africa
@@user-rv8em6qo1s Water type could be Twisnake (twist + snake) and its final form could be Hurriconda (hurricane + anaconda)
I love the smooth animation style especially the whooosh!
I know some people would say "You can't just use gibberish in your fakemon names because Game Freak would never do that", but my counter argument is that they already have. Girafarig is just a jibberish palindrome with the root word giraffe, because Girafarig is a giraffe with a head on both ends. My favorite example of Game freak making shit up is Iron Jugulis. What is a jugulis? Absolutely nothing. But the root word is jugular which means neck, and Hydreigon sure has a lot of those. Basically, as long as you have some kind of root word in your gibberish and that word is somewhat related to your fakemon, gibberish is your best friend.
Fakemon naming is a fun challenge for me, even if most are just Portmanteaus of what they’re based on
Ex:My regions water starter, Järvit is named after the Swedish name of a wolverine (Järv) and the name for a baby mustelid (kit)

Edit: Since you asked nicely, I have a Fakemon I made recently whose names I'm pretty proud of. Melice and Slaughtermelon are Blood-Grass type ax-murdering watermelons. I also have a Fake Cassette Beasts line (Pirated Beasts, I call 'em) and their names all a root word that's a phrase. Heeba-jeebug is a tiny spider-shaped shadow critter, Beddy-byte is a haunted bed with legs and a mouth, Creat-cha-boo is a Monsters Inc. monster made of a quilt and wood, and Heeba-jeebug can evolve into Shadezer-dazer instead, which is a tall shadow stick figure with a top hat.
Slaughtermelon is an amazing name
I named an ice and psychic type weasel Pheasel

Iron Sattelite wouldn’t work, the maximum amount of characters a Pokémon name can have is 12, Iron Sattelite is 14 (space included). It’d have to be something like Iron Orbiter
