US-based National Airlines of Orlando, Florida 🇺🇸 invited Patrick and the AIRCLIPS Team to fly aboard their Queen of the Skies all the way from Europe to Asia and back. Early summer 2021 Patrick joined a DB Schenker charter rotation on a beautiful Boeing 747-400BCF from Munich (Germany 🇩🇪) via Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) for a fuel stop to Tokyo Narita (Japan 🇯🇵) and back via Seoul Incheon (South Korea 🇰🇷), with another fuel stop in Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) to Munich (Germany 🇩🇪). These five flights have been filmed using almost 30 cameras, resulting in the first two episodes of AIRCLIPS' new series "U.S. Jumbo Pilots". On the way from Munich to Tokyo enjoy First Officer Casie flying the giant aircraft and together with Captain Enrique sharing lovely stories from their very personal aviation backgrounds. On the return flight from Tokyo to Seoul and Munich, fantastic Captain TJ and First Officer Paul give you another extremely interesting and very entertaining insight into their lives as JUMBO PILOTS. Great video and great job by the crew! Perhaps some viewers missed the subtlety of the Captain's remark "correcting for the speed". Apparently he was 10 kts. slow or fast following a gust. He showed the F/O he was aware of it and on it. CRM and airmanship.

Many years ago, with my first 100 hours or so as a PPL holder, I was invited for a jump seat ride on a Lufthansa 747-430 for the landing at Frankfurt airport. All I can tell you is that the PF had to fight the same way to get that kite down to the threshold of 25R in a southwesterly storm. And, after being surpised at first, I was satisfied that when it comes to the elements, it is all stick and rudder (plus throttle) work, no matter whether you're in a Cessna 150 or a 747.

Just watched the movie, it's very well done. He's seems like a cool guy, very professional and easy going. Amazing how fast things come at you in a heavy in bad weather, if you were riding and not watching the captain you would never know how full his hands were at touchdown. Beautiful landing
I used to work on C5s in the Air Force. Seeing this 747's wings bounce up and down so far on approach is mind blowing. wow!!

He pretty much flew the GS on the while I approach. You can see him tucked into the glide slope and riding the pipe 5x5 all the way in. Loved the body-english he put into his stick & throttle (I kept expecting his tongue to slip out the side of his mouth, like mine does when trying to thread a needle.)
Had to work for that one. That's how a well trained crew makes it look easy

I was watching the pilots face, and kept backing it up laughing at his facial expressions. I then looked at the wing cams and quickly realized why! I have never seen wings flex like that. Holy moly what a crew!
