About the step in burial chambers: sometimes you're safe there, but when you're not the skellies only use that corner. You can hop on and off the far side of the step to keep them at bay for archery. Handy for the first BC when you're a bit under-geared.
I have found that the gap on the right side as you come into the crypt tends to be inaccessible to skeletons. So can be a good spot to catch a breath or shoot arrows from and the step is a small jump which has the skeletons go all the way to the other side where they can get up while you can then just walk off into that dip so the skele has to go all the way around again.
I always place a fire when entering. I used to put it on the far right corner, but after seeing they can get to the entrance, I now place it in the left front as you enter and that keeps them off the platform.
I have over 800 Hours in this game and still got some nice ideas out of this video. Thank you! Hope to see more Valheim content from you in the future!
and Thank you for taking the time to watch the video I appreciate it! Glad I could teach a valheim veteran like yourself something new! and you know ill be pumpin out the content like a.. a.. like something fast idk lol Thanks again bro!
A great tip for Haldor is to take advantage of his protection runes. While you cant build qithin its radius, you can use it as a wall to protect one side of your structure. I set my portal and bench up as close as I could and built a few stake walls to protect the other sides. This portal saved me a lot of naked running during an exploration gone wrong, and being able to dash into sanctuary if i needed was a great peace of mind.
short video idea: what are the most efficient outpost building structures for an initial landing by sea in any biome and what are the minimum costs and expected setup time?
Oh - an easy vid - Find a tower near the beach. Setup time 10 minutes. Setup Cost: 10 regular wood, 20 finewood, 10 dwarf eyes, 2 surtling cores and the blood, tears, flesh and screams of whomever used to live in it. 🤣
Great tips video but what i like doing is running around the mountains until i find a frost cave it is easy with a finewood bow and i try to get enough resources to craft fenris coat than the rest of the armor since it gives a nice move speed bonus and frost resistance. if your struggling killing the wolves with any weapon for the pelt i suggest using the bronze polearm weapon since the spin can stun the wolves. Also use the different factions in the black forest since the skeletons and grey dwarfs will fight each other and can aid in your escape or win the fight.
Thats my favorite armor in the game, im gunna do just this when i get wolves but thats a fairly advanced tip for most new vikings! thanks for the tip Bacon 🥓!
For early game while waiting to find a swamp and brew a frost potion - I like to scout for towers/houses in view when I find mountain biomes and do an onion hunt once I won't freeze.
realy nice vids, bro. I think, you forget a tiny small tips. A burial Chamber are a perfect for some reason. If you nedet a buff, you can build a small fire and you have a confort 3. Bad is realy tricky, beaver for a smog demage.! Nice work. I wish you good luck.
Thanks big dog! Seen you on a few videos really appreciate every comment! keep em coming! Yes you can buff up in there i just felt like too many tip videos covered that so i didnt wanna be too redundant but def a great tip none the less!
I love that cheese method! and Whats the 3rd variation of burial chambers you are referring too? Theres the sunken one and the one thats like some rocks stacked up.. theres also the troll cave but thats not a burial chambers and I talk about it later in the vid. The wiki mentions 3 variations too but I think its talking about troll caves unless theres another really variation im not thinking of.
I might do a highly edited 100 days or hardcore series but that will be way in the future gotta build the brand first so theres an audience to tune into that kinda stuff. Guides do better for a channel to get noticed at the beginning. I really appreciate your support and thank you for the suggestion!
You can use a seed map to find him if you get desperate! I always use it personally this game is grindy enough. but exploring on your own is a treat too!
great vid, great tips overwall and someone new would benefit alot from this video.... but why call "Thor's hammer" "the pickaxe icon" haha (those icons at 5:46 are "Thor's Hammer" and the other one its supposed to ressemble a portal)
Sneaking doesn't have anything to do with sneak attacks. You have to sneak close enough to use the knife, but you don't actually attack crouched. Sneak attacks with bows don't require crouching at all.
Boooy no body wants to play that hobbit ass lookin character model , pre fabbed building having jank ass game! JK hehe, I know personal preference is a thing! I just dont prefer the art style of that game.
I have 2,900hrs in Valheim because I enjoy the gameplay and the building mechanics. And the randomly generated world means it is different every time I play it giving it the longevity. I have just recently gotten Enshrouded as the reviews have stayed strong - but after 3 hrs it just feels a bit 'meh' for me personally. I feel like I am identifying other games in it more than it giving me new unique stuff (Fixed core/fire for base building a bit like "V Rising"; 3 foods from Valheim ; Minions from Conan but will see if that changes with more time, turning wood and stone into wood blocks and stone blocks before you can build buildings so a little 7 days to die there). Also with fixed map games I feel that there is less long term hold on the replay front. Had a few hundred hours in Subnautica but eventually I just knew too much of the map and what's where with that one so the spark died. I have friends who love terraria, but those graphics look too old for me, and a lot if indie devs seem to use the same Unity/Unreal engine plugins and assets, so many other games just look the same (Kind of like stranded deep, Sunkenland and Survival: Fountain of Youth as some examples). And as an older gamer I have seen graphics change in games, so it's more story and mechanics I aim for than graphics I would expect in a modern game let alone pre-canned stuff. Those aside - Enshrouded has yet to tickle any of those aspects for me. I accept the graphics in Valheim due to the you're dead and it represents your fuzzy recollection of the real world (though it may be my own interpretation based on the intro and Hugin talking about recollecting what once was). I also like how it is a different art style yet still has some amazing vistas and views. And that the game is only like 3GB not 40GB. I saw ARK on gamepass and the thing was like 220GB installed.?!!? I mean seriously. Can we talk about game bloat these days.?? But that's just my take on it. Different people get attracted to different parts and it's not always that friends and relatives enjoy the same games as I do - let alone for the same reasons. So 'better' is just personal choice. It's just good you find a game you have fun with and enjoy in todays gaming market. LOL. 😁

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the work you're doing on this. I love the game and can use all the help I can get.
No nonsense clear & concise... Samo it's always interesting to see how others approach the game. Subbed you deserve more my friend.
Thank you x2 for the kind words and the sub! Its comments like this that keep me going in the early early low view days!
@@Samoooooooo Your more than welcome Samo greetings from the UK. When Ashlands drops you'll be needed more than you realise. God bless you brother.

Btw the fenris armor is made at a tier 2 workbench meaning you do have to have at least 1 upgrade on it

I might use that cheese method to kill the Elder in my hardcore playthrough
You should hardcore is already hardcore enough lol
@@Samoooooooo i think imma do it haha

nice video, boss cheese blew my mind to see. only noticed that you said there are two buriel chambers instead of three.

@@Samoooooooo there's the Stonehenge, the descending stairs and then the mound.
Ooooh I guess the mound and the decending stair one were the same in my brain thanks for taking the time to clarify
You can dig under the castle structures so they are not supported and they just crumble. Great way to get stone.
Never touched this game before believe it or not. I was king of the castle before I stepped in Black Forest. O.O
Just found your channel and subbed! Would be really cool if u could make a gameplay series! Pleease

Great video! But just one thing... the "little pickaxe icon" is actually the mjolnir!
Truuuue! Thor would not be happy with me!
do one of these for all the biomes
I will! gotta do a few ashlands vids first, then back to covering all biomes!!
I didn't realize shipwrecks could be broken... cool!
3 different servers and still haven't found Haldor! ugh!

Am I just over-thinking that the troll heads on your build in the outro, look like the Legend of Zelda moon in Majora's Mask??
Uh, how could you get ore so wrong? Copper is the one that doesn't respawn...tin DOES, it just respawns in random locations on the coast.
From my research no ores respawn in valheim. Thank you for your input though!
@@Samoooooooo But the Valheim wiki says that tin respawns...but yes, the other ores don't
Why on earth would you put ZELDA music over a Valheim video? Makes no sense, it's a completely different game and makes the video unwatchable for me.
Interesting take!
Are you being real?
why people still playing this enshrouded is way better
Because some people wanna play this instead?
