I got divorced in California. She filed when I lost my job after 6 years of marriage. The divorce cost me 75% of my assets. She then made it hard for me to see my son. The courts were of no help. Most of today's women aren't worth marriage.

@@segurosincero4057 Feminism has bought and paid for the American church. It’s teaching our women that they’re leaders of men, telling prostitutes that they can have a godly man without any work within themselves. Pastors getting away with extramarital affairs as well as women. They’re telling the men to submit to their wives, allow her to lead and spreading fear amongst our women with “Abuse” the classic word of a feminist. As I recall feminist in the past hated the church and now they’re joining hands for some reason. Men are taught to except sexless marriages (even if she commits adultery) while they tell the woman to leave if she “Abused”. The American church holds all men accountable for everything but never holds the women accountable period. The blame the men and shame them for everything but excuse the women’s behavior and responsibility in marriage. A man has to do what’s best for his family but a woman has to do what’s best for her. They made Jesus into an ideal that fits the narrative of a modern feminized man. While women in the church are having a ball with empowerment the women from the rest of the world are getting married by American men. Somehow a woman submission to her man is now a grey area, the rest of the non western world somehow got it right. I truly do want my ex wife back. Unfortunately with all the so called saved women in the church that’s in her ear, it’s almost impossible for that to happen.

I'm glad that Mr. Knowles has a happy marriage. I married a very pious Christian woman who divorced me without any moral compunction at all. She even said very flippantly that "God will forgive me." There are women out there that worship happiness over God's law.

    • @patrickbarnes9874
      @patrickbarnes9874 Рік тому +1

Pretty much all women worship happiness over God's law. It's not popular to say that either with secular society that is influenced by feminism or with Christian society that puts women up on a pedestal of virtue and purity. But it happens to be the truth. Women are naturally evolved to manipulate men, not to love them. 80% of divorces are initiated women and the #1 reason is financial difficulties - IE they want a man who can give them more money.
Women need men to protect and provide for them when they are caring for offspring. From Genesis up to the present, women who are able to successfully manipulate men into supporting them are more likely to pass their traits and behaviors along to offspring than women who aren't. Women who spend their time safely protected by a man taking on any risks to her are more likely to pass their traits and behaviors along to offspring than women who don't. Women who are able to easily shift their loyalty away from their previous mate who died in war or hunting and over to a new man are more likely to pass their traits and behaviors along to offspring than women who aren't.
Regardless of how much it upsets feminists and Christian fundamentalists, the notion of the selfless virtuous woman is a fantasy. In virtually all ways, a selfish woman who uses men without caring about them will be more likely to influence the next generation. And we do, in fact, see what we would expect to see in the data as a result of this. Status and security consistently top the list of what women are attracted to, women consistently show an in-group bias favoring other women, and they are consistently higher scoring in neuroticism than men.
In the past, a woman's need to keep a man happy enough that he stayed willing to sacrifice himself for her kept her worst instincts tamped down. Since the rise of feminism, though, society has been removing that check on women's tendencies with family courts heavily favoring them. At the same time, society has been playing on that neuroticism with a decades-long trend of ever-increasing feminist narratives of how stunning and brave women are and how men are trash, and spinning endless tales of victimhood.
The end result is that American womanhood is in the gutter, but it is politically incorrect to say anything negative about women, so the problems never get addressed.

Christian men often get the worse end of the stick because Christian women are given a free pass in almost every way by pastors and counselors. If marriages are struggling, the men are always blamed. If the men have needs and the women are being selfish, the men are blamed. Almost no pastors these days will preach a sermon on "wives, submit to your husbands". Almost no Christian women actually view the man as the federal head of the household. Therefore, if the woman isn't getting her way 100% of the time, the man is blamed and the woman gives herself permission to do whatever she wants. Women are given permission to be this way.

I was divorced in California. Wife moved to Utah and took out son with her. We had a court ordered custody that was split down the middle, she had him for the school year, I got him on summers and holidays, thus no child support order. Two years in, the guy she left me for became an abusive drug addict, and she fell on hard times financially. I was unaware of this. She had also developed anxiety regarding sending our boy back and forth via plane during the summers and holidays. So she concocted a plan, I suspect she had help, and fed me a story that our boy had passed away. I was stupid, and didn't imagine anyone would ever lie about such a thing. I fell into a depression for a year and a half, and just as I was pulling out of that, I was thrust into an entirely new and dare I say far worse emotional rollercoaster when a friend of mine called me after spotting her with the boy. I spent some time acquiring legal representation(which was hard, because I was not well off and many lawyers declined due to doubts over my chances of success), and once I had a lawyer I filed for full custody based on the idea that anyone willing to lie to a parent about their child passing away is a liability to that child and not safe to allow them continued custody. Needless to say, she was not happy about this, big shocker, and called me to tell me I can't have the boy. I told her watch me. She proceeded to explain that I could not have him because he wasnt' mine. I wasn't about to believe a word she said at this point, so as expected the court ordered a paternity test. Turns out it's the only thing she's ever told me that I can verify is true. In a wholely unexpected turn of events, the courts granted her request that instead of saddling me with the role of parental guardian as is the courts usual default given I was the only one to take on the responsibilities of being a father to that boy for his entire five years of life at this point, they stripped me of all my rights, and explained that any further contact with the boy would be strictly at her discretion. As you can imagine, Ive not seen or spoken to the boy since. Despite my having tried. When I asked her in one of our last conversations over the phone why she did this to begin with, what was her motive for telling me he had passed in the first place, she replied that everytime she sent him on a plane to me, she feared it would be the last time she'd see him, convinced I would eventually run away with the boy, and thus "I felt I had to do it to you first, before you did it to me.".After this, I was slapped with a $47,000 bill by DHHS for debt accrued by her via welfare programs that I was told I, being her husband at the time, owed. So we'll after our divorce, I continued to fight against the state attempting to steal money from me for a marriage I was no longer in, over welfare debt accrued to care for a child that wasn't mine and who I had no custody for. I would spend nearly 15 years fighting that, tooth and nail, to the point of living my life like I was on the lam, an outlaw, taking under the table jobs, and changing jobs and residence whenever uncle Sam would catch up to me and begin to send me bills or attempt to garnish my wages. The case was finally resolved last year. I'm now 44, and only now feel as if my life is my own, and I'm able to begin living normally. I am well behind in terms of financial stability and established work history. Due to my stubborn d decision to duck and dodge uncle Sam since I had no other recourse to stop him from stealing from me, I lost out on focusing on establishing a career or working diligently at a single company slowly working my way up the ranks. I have my pride and my principles at the end of the day, but I am starting life now where most people do in their early 20's. I'll never get that time back. I'll never get the money they did get from me back, and worst of all, I'll never see the boy I raised ever again. To say that marriage is a risk is an understatement. I take every opportunity I get to scare every man I can out of the idea of marriage.

@@happy777abc To be fair, most women aren't respectable these days and so I wouldn't use that as a reason for them not getting married. Respect is earned, not implied. Let's use a biblical litmus test for respectability in young women:
      - is she a virgin?
      - does she already have children and isn't a widow?
      - does she still live under her parents authority (specifically the father)?
      - does she do good works according to the Bible's definition of a good work?
      - does she know anything about scripture?
Then we can use extras if we really want to sort out to 99.9999% of women. For example, if her father asks her to wear a head covering to show her submission to her husband/father in view of the angels is her response, "REEEEEEE!" because let's be honest, just getting discipline in the churches for evident adultery/fornication (i.e. pregnancy outside of wedlock) is impossible.
The response to the Bible of a truly saved Christian should be, 'What does the Bible say?' It makes people say, 'I've done wrong'. Yet the response I see when I walk into most churches is, 'God, you are wrong' and with most people, 'God, you are wrong'. I could go further (i.e. break down of Numbers 30 in the 70s etc) but really it's only to women's own harm that they break down the Biblical rules as the prophet says, 'Yet you have not listened to me, says the Lord, that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands TO YOUR OWN HURT.'

Yes I think that is the root of it: feminism. If I wanted to destabilize a society there's probably no more effective way than to convince half of them that the other half is their enemy. The old "divide and conquer". I used to call feminism "mind poison", but I saw someone call it "soul poison" and that sounds more accurate.
As I read through the comments, I see many men despairing of finding a wife who will be true to them, and lamenting the general state of women in our society. I don't disagree but I think it's important to be clearly against the poison, not the poisoned. I think if there's enough goodwill, a couple can help purge each other of the bad ideas they've picked up over time.

Her congregation help remove all of the possessions in his house, while singing Bringing in the Sheaves. Not far from where I currently live, a guy came came home early to find his wife in bed with the Pastor. He held them both there, in bed and staring down the business end of a shotgun, until her mother had time to arrive at the scene.

For a time she blamed me using ever trivial reason she could think of, but then in time became more honest and let me know that it was because of her own selfish interests that caused her to put our marriage low on her priority list in life. Of course I didn't need her to tell me this. I could see it clearly as it was happening. It was nice that she could be honest about it, but that honesty changed nothing.
There are of course instances where a man will initiate divorce, but as stated it's mostly the women who want it. Men and women are wired differently, and she'll go to the altar and swear, commit her loyalty to marriage, and she'll mean it at the time. What happens is that she will change her mind later. It's true that the Family court will favor the women over the men if for no other reason than due to financial concerns. When deciding whether the woman, the single mom will be a financial ward of the state, or a financial burden to the ex-husband it's an easy choice for them to make.

It's easy to blame the man for the women 'emotionally checking out', but in the end, she's the one who walks out, the one who asks for the divorce rather than being a loyal committed wife.
Very few women see their own role in the situation and blame the man for HER failure. It takes a mature minded woman to see herself as she is. So many believe the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Bottom line, she changes her mind about the marriage.

Eventually, that becomes burdensome and that is what produces the "checking out" phenomena.
There really isn't much men can do about that. Both the man and the woman have been lied to ---- the man has been sold the idea of a feminine woman, and that is a lie. The woman has lied to herself.

The one woman I loved and was going to marry, God took her away from me. Was I mad no, I accepted and moved on. For 15 years, I took care of my mother due to the accident that took my dad, who was a pastor. Now all I ever asked God for was enough money to take care of my mother, And I was blessed with more money than I can dream of. I did what I told my older brothers I would do, and I took care of my mother till she passed away. But now, at my age and seeing my Brothers now with Grand Kids I am no longer even thinking of getting married or looking for a girlfriend. As for good Christian girls, in the singles group at church, I was part of for one year, I was the only guy in it. Every girl in it was Divorced with children. All they did was complain. I left that group. So this notion about good Christian girls, good luck if you can find a real Christan girl in my age group. There are none.

The Lord also took the man I loved ... I moved on ... but I don't join singles groups, because GENERALLY, what happens is that people get together and do what immature people do when they have nothing better to do ... complain. The MATURE WOMEN your age are out in the community doing the work the Lord has called them to. You were wise to leave that group ... but a "girl" is always going to be immature. She's a GIRL. In your age group, you need the Lord to show you a WOMAN, mature in Him. We exist. We're just not where you would expect to find us, gossiping with "the girls."

I was one of the accusers. That is until I had a friend whose exe was on drugs, and that’s where the money was going. The judge put the kids in her possession even though she was methed out. That’s how much the legal system is against men. I even heard a story out of Texas recently where the father refuses to pay because the mother wants to start trans procedures. And I’ve have other friends since who this has also happened to.
So before you go pointing that finger, you should know the whole story.

I used to be of the “independent” mindset, until the Lord brought me to my knees and changed my life 180. That’s the only reason why I am the way I am today! Because it’s all Glory to God!

We went through pre-marital counseling. We had different upbringings, but on every important issue from raising kids to voting, we see eye to eye. We have argued a few times (especially in the sleep-deprived moments when our kids were small), and we're certainly not perfect. But I would say we are perfectly united in Christ. One of the things I’ve come to realize, many MANY “Christian” women will just use the Bible as a means to shame and control their husbands. Many more aren’t Christian at all but go to church to find a man who is decent so they can take advantage. In the entirely of my life I’ve seen maybe four of five marriages within the church that are genuinely what a marriage should be, maybe three outside the church. Mariah’s requires a degree of moral inclination that is completely lacking in this country, and also a moral fortitude I have seen less than thirty men with and less than ten women with in my life over thousands of in depth interactions.

      @jrconway3 Рік тому +21

Unfortunately I doubt a "covenental marriage" is any better. Your spouse can still leave you at any time for any reason. It can also still result in demanding child support or alimony by appealing to the government that you were in a long term relationship, and you don't get any tax incentive either from being legally married.
There isn't much we can do until the fullness of the societal collapse occurs, after which point things inevitably must and will change as a direct consequence.
The best option for now is probably finding a Christian woman you trust who has no desire for divorce, and both sign a prenuptial agreement ensuring the husband and wife leave only with what they came into the relationship with, perhaps with a clause denying financial benefits to the one who initiated the divorce.
Assuming that could even be held up and the government wouldn't just throw it out. However, its far safer than relying on what essentially amounts to a promise/vow, which clearly isn't taken seriously now as is. Jesus even condemns the taking of vows precisely because of this fact.

    Should I Get Married?
Men, NEVER voluntarily give the government and family courts jurisdiction over your assets, and future income.
In my CPA practice, clients often ask how I feel about marriage.
I usually answer them with a question of my own.
“How many other relationships do you have where you have signed a legal document and a license that will force you to go to a court to terminate that relationship?”
"For example, have you and your best friend signed a Best Friend License?"
Of course the answer is no.
Imagine you have a Best Friend License and before you can stop being friends with that person you have to file a lawsuit. You will need to hire attorneys and a judge has to approve you no longer being best friends.
Then that judge can legally take some of your assets and give them to your former best friend against your will. That judge can also order you to pay a monthly amount to that former best friend forever.
And imagine the courts are biased against you and favor your best friend in every way while in court.
Of course, we all see how ridiculous it would be to ever sign a best friend's license.
A marriage license should be viewed the same way.
The adversarial party to the marital contract, your wife, is financially incentivized to breach this contract, (file for divorce against you), where you have no such equal benefit, and with NO consequence to her.
I don’t blame women for filing for divorce at such a high rate.
Any contract where one party has no consequences of any kind if they breach, but instead has benefits and incentives, is not legal in my opinion.
As a compromise, if your beloved demands marriage, consider a religious ceremony with no corresponding governmental paperwork. Make sure this cannot be construed as a legal marriage in your state.
Voluntarily bringing governmental and judicial oversight into any of your personal relationships is insanity. With a marriage license, this is only strengthened by the fact that the family laws are heavily biased towards women and mothers.
Voluntarily giving family courts the authority to seize your property and income streams, and give them to another person sometime in the future, is irrational and self-destructive and should never be done under any circumstances.
Never sign any contract where the other party has little or no consequence for breaching it.

Met my current girlfriend at a bible study. We're both in our young 20s and while we aren't exactly one for one in terms of how we think, we always do work out our differences. We don't believe in leaving each other unless there is a Biblical reason like infidelity or nonbelief. She can definitely be needy and clingy, but she does love me for me, even though we don't always see eye to eye. It's very odd how hookup culture and "femininism" has taken over and distorted/corrupted the dating scene, and it's even infiltrated our churches to an extent where young women may not want anything long term or have a traditional marriage. I can see why it deters young men from wanting to get married.

@@austinlehman2524 oh ok. I believe the Bible's view on marriage in the age of grace in the New Testament is one man and one woman for life no exceptions.
Matthew 5:31-32 & 19:9 with the exception clause should be read in conjunction with Mark 10:11-12 & Luke 16:18
Also in Romans 7:1-4 & 1st Corinthians 7:10-11 & 39 it is clear that death is the only thing that ends a marriage and brings understanding to 1st Corinthians 7:12-15 that even though there may be a struggle with an unbeliever and even though they may leave you are free from them but cannot remarry because though you may not be in bondage to them if they depart you're still bound by your vows because marriage is for life till death do us part or as long as we both shall live
I therefore believe marriage is for life.

Just to put your conception of risk in perspective, six women are killed every hour by men around the world, most by men in their own family or their partners. More than half of women and girls killed by men are murdered by their current or previous partners, according to comprehensive UN data.

Hey Doug! I was married for 16 years to a conservative Christian woman. In the end, she broke the covenant by legally filing for divorcing from me and took more than half and all 8 of my seeds [children]. FYI, I had all my seeds attended a Classical Christian School. Her main reason for divorce, which was supported my the Christian leader in Wisconsin, was I decided to keep the Sabbath day holy. The moral of story is DO NOT get a marriage license from the STATE.
