      Because, they're cowards.
Why do cowards go to Hell? Because, by nature, they're evil. That makes them susceptible to other evils, as well. An overwhelming need for self preservation... And that gives measure by Romans, 2Tim, and Galatians, being fundamentally selfish and self-centered.

@@revo1974 I don't understand...of course not, or it never would have happened. The Catholics and Calvinists (I think) were killing people, but Martin Luther, a Catholic devout, pointed out the mistakes and nearly died for it.
Those killers were cowards, knowing that the reformers were correct in placing Jesus Christ above the Pope of Rome, yet siding with Rome over Christ.
My history isn't as solid as I prefer, but I believe that's the jist of the era.

@@whtstr2133 You did not mention whether a reason for leaving ones church is justified or not. You simply stated that they were cowards for doing so. So why are these people cowards, but those who broke away from the RCC not?
It’s clear to me that all religion is man-made. That’s why there have been so many them throughout history. If the RCC got it so wrong, then that’s an inditenent on Yahweh as it shows clear incompetence to properly spread a message. Still to this day the largest Christian church is the RCC. And there are thousands of Christian denominations. It’s a huge mess that indicates it’s all man-made and can’t be the design of an omniscient entity.

@@revo1974 Ah, I see. This goes for all churches. You cannot follow a preacher, minister, or pastor... period. They are men, and cannot help you. However, it is said "Do not forsake the gathering together of yourselves as is the manner of some..." so we are to gather. Not in a building, but in family.
There is only one God, one Jesus, one Holy Spirit, and only one message. Any denomination is incorrect, but has the building blocks for the correct way. Mormons minister the best, love like no other, and are unfortunately heretics. Baptists hate conflict, and reject the Methodist and Lutheran...
There's only one way, and we ALL know this. Opinion doesn't matter. Point of view doesn't matter. Reaction doesn't matter. And yet...
So, leave heretic church ASAP. Men can't save. However, search out chances to minister the gospel, and gather your holy family...any time you can. God will guide your every step (I tested and verify), so listen to the Holy Spirit and do as he says, as it never conflicts with scripture. My church consists of three people who barely listen, no building, no books, and no tangent attachment (the church only exists in my head, at the moment). However, when they visit, they know a ministry is coming, but is done so with love and compassion they Can't find Anywhere else. This isn't what I thought when God said that I would minister to preachers. But, you know what,...I'm not in charge...and I'm okay with that. I don't know what is to happen, but I know Boss-man knows. He knows it all. Just ask Him, He's right there with you now.

I live in Canada where some of the harshest lockdowns were going on. The best thing that ever happened to my wife and children, we left our church that left us staring at a screen for a year. We found a group of believers that ignored all mandates and gathered, we have experienced the power of God, unbelievable testimonies and conversions to Christ. In my thirty years as a Christian I have never witnessed this many coming to faith in Christ, many that had no exposure to Christianity. I have no words other than Awe.

On the first day back, the worship leader wanted us to repent for supporting systems that oppress people. WHAT? Then I attended another church in the group and saw them promoting The Gospel Coalition for their youth program. So that was another strike. TGC is corrupt. Before getting engaged to someone who attends a church in another county, I was part of a very small one that my father pastors. It is so small, that if someone is not there on a Sunday, it is very, very noticeable. People in the last year moved on for various reasons that I probably wouldn't 100% agree with (not political actually) and it's doubtful my father does too, but he would never, ever, present a sermon accusing them like this, even though it really stung the remaining church body when they were gone. A lot of people that grew up in the church go through life like a deer in the headlights and don’t recognize that most sources of power in the world hate them and are actively working to undermine them.

I realized who numbers my days and I wanted to be with believers who believed the same. I started going with a church that held service on the street for homeless and continued through the whole thing as usual. I went to another church that stayed open and celebrated Christmas as usual. I know there are Christians around the world that meet together regularly underground at the risk of their lives that is faith. I had home fellowship and Bible study with Christians that felt the same way. From the beginning I felt I was being manipulated and the nature of it was from my enemy. God bless all of you and my heart weeps for all who forget who we are and who we serve. Prayers for all. And our church came out saying right off that Ahmed Arbery was a hate crime and that we all need to check our privilege. We didn’t even have all the details yet… I don’t disagree that it was wrong for him to be killed but I don’t understand why they needed to rush and put out a video response. No Christians used the name of Jesus to promote violence in the January 6th protest. It wasn't an insurrection. Not one Trump supporter brought a gun to the protest. Not one Christian or pastor took a gun to the protest. They met at the Washington Monument to pray for our nation and listen to President Trump's speech. Never once did Trump tell people to go to the Capitol building to break in. He asked them to peacefully go and protest and let their voices be heard.
The protest at the Capitol building started BEFORE Trump finished his speech to the Christian crowd at the Washington Monument. To march from the Monument to the Capitol building takes about 30 minutes. The Christian Trump supporters arrived to the Capitol building right about the time the protesters began to walk into the building. It has already been revealed that those protestors that walked into the Capitol building on J6 were infiltrated FBI instigators who wanted to impersonate actual Trump supporters to create the narrative that Trump supporters were violent "insurrectionists". Look up the name Ray Epps...that will tell you everything you need to know.

We thought we had found a solid, conservative church; not an easy task in Connecticut. Then, Floyd and Covid happened. The political views of the congregation that previously had been left outside were revealed. We ended up feeling like strangers in our own church and stopped attending (which was of no apparent concern to the leadership) and could not find a church within 50 miles that held meetings indoors, in person, sans masks. As covid wore on and vaccine mandates loomed, we began looking at real estate in a free state. We realized that not only our church, but also our neighbors, state government, schools and fellow voters would be happy to demonize, exclude and disenfranchise us if we resisted the political trend of the day. It was an anxious realization and we are not so naive to think that it would end with covid. We sold our home and bought another in Tennessee, I quit my job and we moved. It's been a tough, two year odyssey, but after two months in our new state, we've found a great church, lower taxes ($800/month lower), thriving local business and fellow voters who respect our autonomy... If I have come to have extreme distrust of my pastor's judgment based on all the positions he has held, should he really want me there? Or, would it be reasonable for me to find a church where I can actually respect the leadership? (which I have, and the pastor agrees with Wilson on everything but baptism).

I am so glad this is being addressed. Many of us were so very disappointed in pastors everywhere who failed to be leaders. They should believe in what scripture says. God has not given us a spirit of fear. God has given us an ordained number of days on earth, when He calls us home, we will go one way or the other. I admire John MacArthur and a handful of other pastors who actually knew the science and knew the statistics and kept their churches going at a time Christians needed each other more than ever. You are right, many pastors were exposed for lack of faith in God's word and will. Thus, many left to find real fellowship and leadership and to heard God's word preached.

Great insight. I pastor a small SBC church that endured the lockdowns. We did not close the church. We ignored the demand to limit attendance to 10 persons. We told the folks to use common sense in their health. If they were sick, feeling sick or uncomfortable to stay home and watch. Our giving was not impacted. My beliefs are based on scripture (which some would call conservative). Unfortunately, many pulpits are filled with unbiblical men (and women who are not qualified) who bend which ever way the cultural winds are blowing.

I found Christ in October 2019. On Easter 2020, I was scheduled to be Baptized at the giant, 6-service a week, motivational speaker evangelical church we used to go to. They wouldn't baptize me. Months later, they had a zoom service that consisted of the white pastor sitting with 3 black people and asking how they feel harmed. Then the church, as an organization, went downtown and marched with BLM, but still, no service. I started listening to the 'Real Christianity' podcast by Dale Partridge, and figured out the difference between a biblical church and a non-biblical church. We found a healthy, biblical church in August 2020 that had open doors and never asked us to put on masks. I think this has been a great awakening and it's a positive thing that the sheep are seeking healthier pastures. This pastor calling it 'cancelling church' shows how oblivious he is to what's actually happening.

2020 began my own personal awakening to what is going on in the “church”. Started with discovering the false doctrine of tithing, and went on from there. Studying the word for myself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit brought so much clarity to many falsehoods being taught.
I hope and pray many others have the same unction from the Holy Spirit to check these things out that are being taught from the stages, just like the Bereans did. You’ll find a lot of what is contained in “sermons” by mega churches (or those trying to be like them) is a bunch of nonsense and lies from the twisting of scripture and from a lack of understanding.

    • @michaelberry1746
      @michaelberry1746 2 роки тому

Hi Kenneth, I'm curious why you call tithing a "false doctrine." What exactly do you mean by that? If tithing isn't biblical, then what is the correct response when the pastor says that we ought to be giving to the church?

    • @kennethfraire8152
      @kennethfraire8152 2 роки тому +1

@@michaelberry1746 it’s scripturally proven that tithing was old covenant, established by God, for ISRAEL ONLY, and was done away with when the new covenant was put into place. Deuteronomy 14 has the requirements for the tithe for Israel, Malachi is a book that God speaks directly to Israel (including the Levitical priests in chapter 3) letting them know how upset he was for them not following his command to THEM. The book of Hebrews chapters 7 & 8 speaks of the old covenant trying to make people perfect by law, but it couldn’t accomplish that. That was mosaic covenant.
The only standard that can even be used towards the idea of “giving” is in 2 Corinthians 9 to give cheerfully and not under compulsion or coercion. And then Gods grace will abound to you and you will have sufficiency. While this was Paul speaking to the church of Corinth (or the Christian’s in Jerusalem from what my study Bible says), it can be applied today as the structure in which to give. And here’s the kicker like it was also in Malachi; it wasn’t about money. In 2 Corinthians, it was a mixture of money and other gifts, in Malachi it was food and/or consumable items, hence the use of the phrasing “that there may be FOOD in my house”.
Lastly, God is no idiot. He used the Holy Spirit through messengers to speak exactly what He intended to speak. If he wanted Christian’s to still be under the old mosaic covenant law of tithing, He could’ve may that crystal clear so there would be NO confusion on this matter. However, He didn’t do so, and left us many MANY places in His inerrant Word to prove that this is indeed a false doctrine, twisted by the greedy to manipulate people into emptying their wallets. You WILL NOT with 100% efficacy be able to tithe and have the “windows of Heaven” dump endless money or possessions on you that you’ll have to “give it all away” or that you won’t be able to contain it. It doesn’t work that way, and never has for anyone outside of the nation of Israel. Anyone who says it does IS a liar.
In closing, tithing IS a false doctrine for Christian people to follow today, it was only meant for Israel, and even for them, is not in place today.
Even if God promises extra things for giving, the right thing to do is to not expect anything in return. The right thing is to bless those with no promise of return. Jesus did that, gave His life and knew we could not do anything to repay Him.
God bless, and to Him be all glory, honor and praise.

There’s no way to ignore how the Gospel, God’s law, God’s definition and content of the word “justice” should be informing our politics. It is a one way street from God’s revealed word and Will to our policy preferences, not the other way around. This means you cannot remain politically neutral about many things AND that your policy preferences have to be judged against scripture.

Hilarious. My family and I attended a Methodist church. Baptized all 3 kids there. I heard a lot a agreed w some I didn't but by in large we were fine. Then 2020. And first they closed the church for 5 months and encouraged us to stay home online. While other churches stayed open or reopened quickly. While big box stores never closed. Eventually they reopened but it was masks and temperature checks. And because they encouraged people to stay home when we went back it was just my family. Not in the realm of fellowship in a church that used to be filled. They held Christmas Eve service outside in Ohio in the winter. Again by that time schools were reopened and restaurants too. To feel some sense of normalcy we attended an evangelical church. When ohio dropped the mask mandate the evangelical church dropped their own. The Methodist church continues to mask up until now. They recently said they will be mask optional for everything except you guessed it worship. The pastor rails on about the vax and it being the only way he will want to unmask the church. In closing we didn't leave the church it left us it's way more than a disagreement over gun control, the president or BLM. The church we used to attend decided to worship a virus and give meaning to its existence in the response to it in every way letting it guide them not the Gospel. I asked my kids how they felt if we stayed at the new church and the 2 youngest 9 and 7 said they dont remember the old church and my oldest likes the new one now. Me I feel bad about it but it's me holding onto something no longer there it took the innocence of my kids to realize it was me holding onto the past. That's the story I bet for a lot of people not George Floyd.

Leave the whole whore of Babylon altogether and don't seek to be in bondage to any man and you will be much more obedient to God than committing fornication with any of the harlot houses of mystery Babylon. Hard times make strong men.
    Strong men create good times.
    Good times create weak men.
    Weak men create hard times.
We are in the weak men phase. There are too many males acting like or identifying as women and weak pastors trying to conform to the culture of a broken world instead of using the scriptures taught in expositional fashion to bring the broken world to Christ.
Watch John MacArthur for those who cannot find an authentic church. I have been "churchless" for over 10 years because I cannot stomach the evil and den of thieves in the church as well as the false prophets who add to and take away from the scriptures to push woke ideology.
I have been with John MacArthur's online church from Australia for 5 years and I am so enriched by his expositional teaching of the Word. Thank you Pastor John.
