I’m not done the video yet so maybe it’s mentioned later on but a closed empty water bottle zip-tied to your quad will make it buoyant enough to float in the event of a dip!

The 50 1.4 Zeiss was so good and so fast and so gorgeous i once filmed almost 90% of a wedding without ever taking it off. No doubt this lens is as good if not better and worth every penny
Im think in sony for photograhy (comercial and landacape) and filming, i camera that can do as much as possible, but dont blow the bank, what will be your recomendation? Sony a7r4?
I absolutely love the look of this video. How is it to vlog with the fx3? I know it’s not a major step away from the A7siii but I know the body is quite different.

Off topic, but what camera would you recommend for a beginner. I’m struggling along with a go pro thinking it was a good choice as versatile, but regretting it now for making UA-cam videos in the house. I keep reading about canon m50 but would love to know your view, been following you for a while and really trust your judgement

I actually personally LOVE the 85 mm like the focal length for portrait is incredible

What’s kinda cool is most photographers start with a 50, so as they get better they dont typically gravitate back towards a 50, its almost like “been there done that”. But.... when you have experience and skill and you pair it with a nice 50... its bliss.
My first lens was a 24mm, really glad I did that to get started. Now I'm mostly rocking the 35 for photos and 24 + 85 for video

Matti, any advice on a DSLR camera for someone entering the camera game for the first time? Maybe a couple camera recommendations to choose from and which lens to buy? Love the videos!!
Can you give a little more information about what you want to shoot, if you want photo and video or just one of them, please?
At the top of my head I'd just say Sony a6100 + 18-135 for the start and later on going for a prime or two. If you definitely need picture profiles for more dynamic range in videos the a6400 would be the better choice.
