I saw these guys playing for free in the streets of Winston-Salem, and even when I was that young, they brought so much life with their unique sound and presence. I am so proud of how far they have come! I am 15 years old now, and my grandfather, who introduced us to them is gone now, but I am eternally grateful to him for leading me to probably one of my favorite bands of all time. Love them! Always will!

It's crazy to look side by side the music released. Simon and Garfunkel released 5 albums. The Avett Brothers have already released 9 studio albums. Plus, the Avett brothers don't seem like douchbags. I can't picture Sean or Seth Avett turning on each other. I'm sure they have many more great songs (albums) to come.
