    These are the ones I had but in use track they are not enough, they are even less effective than the original ones. I keep the Mishimoto support and installed 2x SPAL VA10-AP50/C-61A - 1221 cfm - SPAL Electric Radiator Fan - 12.0" (305mm) PULL , just another world.

    Good to see how passionate you are for your RX8 , I have only just started getting feelings for mine, being my 10th Rotary powered car, took me a while to accept it as I swore from the moment I did a predelivery on the first one in the state to put in the showroom ( ex Mazda technician ) because of how fragile they looked. Now being extremely cheap third, fourth hand, I managed to pick one up for AUS5800 second hand full genuine mazda service history ( I have actually serviced it before for the original owner ). I thought I'd take a chance. None of my mazda enthusiast friends had even considered one after thing's I had told them like having to take the front wheels of to change a headlight bulb. Kinda makes me a hypocrite but thanks to watch some of your vids has enlightent me. Thanks bro.

    It's been over 3 years since you installed the fan shroud. Can you tell me if it worked properly, did you have any problems cooling your radiator?
    I have a Series 2 RX8 and it hard to get parts. I wanted to get a better fan shroud after watching your video but no one makes it? I even called Mishimoto and they told me they do not make a fan shroud for the Series 2 RX8's??? But I found a company that has a universal fan shroud. Because I'm lazy I asked shops around my area but they all say the same thing, " we will not do it"?!
    So it looks like I will have to do it myself. Hope to hear from you...

    So, my radiator was leaking so I had to replace it, I did but when I let my car idle for few mins it will go to 105°C and thats not good, I think I got air in my system and guess there is nothing wrong with adding more water to mix, since we dont see temps go under -20°C. What I want to do is to short Fan Ralay 1 with Fan Relay 2, so once that slow fan turns on high power fan will switch on aswell, it should work as dirty cheap mod. So my question is: At what temps fan 1 goes on and if Im right other fan goes on at 100-103°C and thats also too high. I tried to google it but nothing came on, I would love to hear something like 80°C, that would make my car so much cooler just with one short cabel. Thanks for answer.

    Another thing you can do (for the folks who delete their A/C) is solder the two sets of wires from the fans together with a H4 female connector plug (blue & black wires), reconnect it to the H1 H3 male cooling plug, and just tuck away the A/C H4 female connector plug. But not everyone is the same; this is what I'm in the process of doing with my RX8 build.

    Dude your car will never run fast with that long ass intake sucking air from all the way in the front. The RX8 wasn't designed to suck air from that far up front.
    My RX8 is a jet. OOhh.
    But the Police took it for now. SMH.

    • @yeahnah6468
      @yeahnah6468 4 роки тому

      .........But if you look at the stock air box it is piped to pull air from in the bumper. Same as the aftermarket CAI.
      Insert all of my question marks.
      If you have it sucking in air from inside the engine bay then you've got yourself a hot air intake which is stupid.

    • @realtruth97
      @realtruth97 4 роки тому

      @@yeahnah6468 it's different tho. The stock air system pulls air thru a tube on the bumper, then drags it to the filter inside the engine bay. The CAI is on the bumper sucking air all the way from down there. It seems like a good idea, but in reality it takes more suction to pull air from all the way in from of the bumper, then from inside the engine bay.
      Plus, I don't have a ram intake. Yes it is stupid to pull in hot air.
      I have or had a air kit. A ram kit inside of a box inside of the engine bay, it looks just like the stock box, but then I added a tube that they desined to pull air from the underside of the bumper. I forget the name. But it sucks air directly from where the cooling air comes in from. My car was so fast.
