Those scenes in Hawkeye when he interacts with his on-screen kids. You feel that fatherly pride he knows first-hand. A lot of people like to talk crap about Renner being "boring" on screen, but I think he brings just the right humanity to his parts.
Hawkeye was always one of my favorite Avengers (after Captain America) and I always appreciated Jeremy Renner. Renner is probably one of the more under-appreciated actors working in the MCU. His other movies (Hurt Locker, The Town, Wind River, Arrival, and American Hustle) give him one of the best filmographies of any MCU actor in that span outside of the Marvel films. He doesn't have the star power of Downey, Scarlett, or Hemsworth, and he doesn't have the legion of young fan girls who stan the likes of Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, or Tom Hiddleston, but both Renner and Hawkeye deserve more love.
The best part about all of this is the fact that Jeremy Renner hasnt been corrupted by fame, he's very grateful for his life but puts his family above everything else.

I feel like AT LEAST all of the original 6 Avengers should get stand alone movies because they’re a bigger “event” than series’ (I know that there are some with only 1 movie and others with trilogies, but they still have movies). Don’t get me wrong- I’m SO GLAD that he got an EXCLUSIVE solo project [as Hawkeye is the only one out of the original 6 Avengers to get a stand-alone series] because Hawkeye is my favorite superhero, but I just feel like he was underutilized and is also very underrated as a whole… 🙃

I just re-watched The Bourne Legacy 2 days ago and I still love it. Jeremy was in amazing shape and sold me on what the other men and women in the program were going through.
The first movie I saw Renner in was Hurt Locker. Watched that movie like 20 times. I don't usually like war movies, but I liked it because you got to explore this guys mindset in it. He was good at what he did, liked what he did, and kept going back to it no matter how much it messed up his family life. Renner was perfect. Love characters like that and his personality was apparent in that character.
Same. Kinda rewatched it after the Avengers, cause i recognised that he and Sam aka Anthony Mackie played too in the Movie. The same with Wind River where he plays along Elizabeth Olsen. It was interessting to see him on the "front" just spreads out what kind of an amazing actor he is

I think The Town is one of the best films ever made. That fight / argument scene with Renner and Affleck was one of the best fight scenes ever recorded IMO.

The fact that he always says that his #1 priority & his most favorite thing to be is...a dad to his beautiful little daughter Ava, whom he sweetly refers to as his "#1" is what makes him such a down-to-earth, real person & that's what I think I love most about Jeremy Renner. He's known here, in our communities here in the Reno, Nevada area as a normal, down-to-earth, very giving guy, always helping out law enforcement & firefighters as well as local charities. When he had his very scary, near-fatal accident up here on New Year's Day 2023, the whole community was praying 🙏 for him, because he's one our own, a neighbor & a friend. Thank God he's such a fighter & is coming back stronger 💪 everyday.

In a couple of cases, a solo tv show is better than your own movie. I think that the Hawkeye series will be considered "better" than the Black Widow movie once all is said and done. :-) I appreciate that he's really trying to understand his characters and he's always bringing something to his performances. I mostly saw that in the suppressed pain he was showing in Wind River.
I first saw him in episode 11 or season 1 of "Angel" TV series in early 2000. Really liked him a lot, so it was cool noticing him later in movies and more prominent roles.

I never thought watching this vid will have such an impact on me. I'm having kind of an Existential crisis, i graduated like 5 months ago perfect student good gpa talented ... But than I met the real world and those qualities didn't do much for me ! I know it's just 5 months and I will find a good job EVENTUALLY but I really started to lose hope. Then I'm looking at Jeremy's career and he really started step by step and God the distance between those steps yet he managed to survive to see his success now . Well I think I can manage to have a little patience only to see a possible future where I am what I always worked to be ✊
His second best role is being a truly generous, mindful, community driven person as well. He does a LOT of local/regional charity stuff in northern NV.
I would have loved to hear him speak on "The Unusuals." Great little series he did that got canned after a single season because ABC didn't know what they were doing. Great interview non the less.
The films which I wanted to hear Jeremy's opinion the most were the ones the skipped - Arrival and Windriver were absolutely amazing. He's a very talented actor, especially when he gets propper roles to play.

I watched this specifically to hear him talk about Senior Trip. Always wanted to hear him talk more about that movie. I loved it.
It was so many movies I was waiting for them to mention but of course I love him as Hawkeye he made that character feel real so his comments about Iron man makes sense I think that's the difference in the MCU it's such a great balance in real life and fantasy

I never thought watching this vid will have such an impact on me.
I'm having kind of an Existential crisis, i graduated like 5 months ago perfect student good gpa talented ... But than I met the real world and those qualities didn't do much for me ! I know it's just 5 months and I will find a good job EVENTUALLY but I really started to lose hope.
Then I'm looking at Jeremy's career and he really started step by step and God the distance between those steps yet he managed to survive to see his success now . Well I think I can manage to have a little patience only to see a possible future where I am what I always worked to be ✊

Just look at all the movies Jeremy Renner has done! He is one of the most versatile and underrated humble actor in existence today
