Out of the many interviews I’ve seen, Ali is the ONLY one who is able to generate enthusiasm from his guests. This guy has excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU series. I've always wondered why they didn't give him a non a killing gun. They nerfed him while upgrading Sam. I love the series though and look forward to Strange.
I was the only one in my friend group, who was more existed for Falcon then the Winter Soldier. I don’t really get why people like Bucky so much more then Sam.
@@cowwithrandomthoughts2503 Yeah, but I really liked him since Cap 2 and when we talked about it all my friends hoped, that Bucky would become the next Captain America and I hoped Sam would. We all have comic knowledge, so we knew one of them would become the next Cap in the near future and then it happened in Endgame.
Clint to Wanda: “Hey, look at me. It’s your fault. It’s everyone’s fault- who cares? Are you up for this? Are you…? Look, I just need to know, because the city is flying. Okay, the city is flying, we’re fighting an army of robots… and I have a bow and arrow. _None_ of this makes sense… but I’m going back out there because it’s my job. Okay, and I can’t do my job and babysit. It doesn’t matter what you did or what you were. You go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill. You stay in here, you’re good. I’ll send your brother to come find you, but if you step out that door… you are an Avenger.” In my opinion, one of Clint’s best lines/moments.
"We were all laughing and weeping, it was a lot. It was a lot to deal...I can't...I'll never watch that again. It was a difficult experience! We were all just, a sobbing mess, and we were laughing, and it was amazing..." Glad I'm not the only one that felt this way about "Avengers: Endgame"! Jeremy got it!
He's said in other interviews that Nat's final scene was so tragic that it's affected his own personal life. Which is saying a lot, because if it affected Jeremy personally, imagine how much it's destroyed Clint 😭
I went through the emotions as well but I didn't shed tears until the end because for a lot of them, they were literally "signing off" of the film and the franchise.
Ali is just such a legend at aiming for pure positivity with his interviews. He never asks questions that could possibly make them uncomfortable. Ali, you're the sole reason I click on these interviews regardless of the movie (but especially the MCU ones). Keep it up!
Hawkeye really is an underutilized, underrated Avenger and easily one of my favorites. Cannot wait for the series to come out and give us all the Clint Barton appreciation we deserve!
If Marvel is smart, they should keep giving him bigger roles. Renner is easily one of their best actors and they've been horribly underutilizing him for years. Glad he is finally getting his own show.
Is it weird that out of the original 6 Avengers and the actors who play them, I always had the impression that Jeremy didn't care much for his role and all the Marvel stuff. It wasn't until this interview that I realized he does very much care and is passionate about the universe he's a part of. Not that his performances or personality off screen ever indicated anything bad, it just felt that way because Hawkeye was always so underutilized and I wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy only showed up to work because that was his job. Especially when compared to Evans and RDJ whose characters required them to be much more emotionally involved.
It's like you read my mind word for word lol. It never really seemed to me like he was dedicated to his role as Hawkeye until I watched this interview. It's nice to see that the mcu means as much to him as it does to us fans.
It was reported after the first avengers he was unhappy with the amount of screen time he got so when AOU dropped and going forward, you can see more of a fleshed out character. I'm glad he spoke up about it.
Ali does the absolute best celebrity interviews. No one else compares. He asks good questions, connects with the guest, and never feels like he's resorting to "how did it feel..." kinds of questions.
Sean Evans on Hot Ones does a pretty darned good celebrity interview - and he had Jeremy Renner on last week! So you can compare, if you like: ua-cam.com/video/jCOE-561-t8/v-deo.html
Also a guys' channel Jake's Takes does very very energetic and quick interviews with lots of people, honestly wish he had a higher runtime but I guess there're reasons for them being so short.
Wow jeremy got emotional when u were describing how great hawkeye is. Shows how much this cast truly love and respect their roles. This interview is amazing ❤
What's great about the interviewer is he levels his questions base on actor personality and keep them engaging. I've seen Jeremy in some of his interviews he seems very laid back guy but in this one he is interested in answering questions. I also appreciate that he gives suggestions to Jeremy.
The fact that he didn't even know Hawkeye when he first got the role in Thor but then getting invested with the character through the year and now even acknowledge the West Coast Avengers is pretty cool...
I'm glad he got his own show - he is the kind of superhero I prefer: witty, an actual skill performed with athletic elegance, nicely dressed (no stupid-looking costume), no mask (because, really, what producer would dare to put a mask on Jeremy Renner?), family values and sooo likable. I never ever read any comics, am not a big fan of the superhero-genre (mostly because I have to wait through all the CGI and exploding shit to get to the actual acting, dialogue and story), but I really like the vibe of the new Hawkeye series, as far as the trailers I have seen. It seems like a sort of buddy-comedy, witty dialogue, light and both leads are great - Jeremy and Hailee.
As someone who is NOT a comic nerd/geek/fan, but has just absorbed things by watching a few movies and paying a little attention to the entertainment media (e.g. Cinema Sins, How it Should Have Ended, Honest Trailers), Hawkeye is my third favorite Avenger (after Emma Peel and John Steed). Why? He's so darned ORDINARY. He's no demigod who can control lightning, he's not the result of a super-secret government program, he's no impossibly wealthy tech genius.... He doesn't even have some trauma or mental health issues to deal with. He's just a regular guy - who happens to be insanely good at this one unusual skill. Hawkeye is the kind of superhero that it's actually possible for us to be. After all, when was the last time you picked up a bow and arrow?
I had the pleasure of interacting with Jeremy through work and the man is so down to earth and hilarious. And with Jeremy Renner and this latest slew of junkets, where it's clear in most others that he's extremely tired and bored, it's an accomplishment.

As if running lines with tom cruise was not enough, here's ali doing it again with jeremy renner.👏👏👏 It kinda felt like you doing karaoke of your favorite song with your favorite singer.
I think around 2016 I was riding my bike home from school in Hollywood and Jeremy walked out right in front of me . Fortunately I didn’t hit him. I stopped and we made eye contact for like 5 secs . I was star struck and couldn’t say anything not even a “sorry I almost hit you”. I wish I got to tell him that he’s the coolest avenger 🏹
There’s you and the mtv guys that make the best interviews of the Marvel cast or anything really. Thank you once again for this Ali you’re a madlad ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I like looking back at actors' filmographies and noticing how many times they had costarred with other people in the MCU, like how Scarlett Johannson and Robert Redford both starred in _Captain America: The Winter Soldier_ and in _The Horse Whisperer_ or like how Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie both starred in _Captain America: Civil War_ and _The Hurt Locker._
He's so nice, i'm so happy he got this series to truly explore him as a character! Man I wish Black Widow, I kinda like the first two acts of that film and then hate the third act! It really went off the rails bad then ...
Jeremy brings humanity and warmth and groundedness to the whole Avengers team. I didn’t used to appreciate these characteristics but RDJ’s daughter has great taste in super hero’s.

"Nobody would know. Nobody. ‘The last I saw him, when Ultron was sitting on him. Uh...yeah, he'll be missed, that quick little bastard. I miss him already"
Here’s all the movies featuring Hawkeye and when they came out.
Thor(2011)
Avengers(2012)
Avengers Age of Ultron(2015)
Captain America Civil War(2016)
Avengers Endgame(2019)
Black Widow as a picture on an IPad(2021)
Does looking at list make you feel old?
Such a great actor
Can do it all action, comedy, drama, thriller etc 🏹
I'm literally the biggest Hawkeye fan in the world and I really want to do an interview like this with Jeremy Renner
this was an amazing interview
I love Hawkeye so much I'll probably make a longer essay about how much I appreciate him than any of the thes(i/e)s I'll ever make.
Watching after his accident. Praying for a full recovery. Hang in there Jeremy! Ask them for what every you want now. You will probably get it fedexed overnight 🤣
Ali summed up Clint perfectly towards the start of the clip👌🏻
As a massage therapist, I am very happy to hear Jeremy say “ hydrate “. ( Drinking Water helps the body to flush out toxins from its system.) 👍👍 12:37
Can't wait to watch this series! Loved Jeremy's shout out for the West Coast Avengers.
That he remembers the lines years later, he loves the part
It was so sad when Clint lost his family. They are his core and he was lost without them I am so glad we got the Hawkeye series
Jeremy's interviews so far : Hydrate 🤣
I always loved hawkeye and Black widow and their friendship it's a dream
I especially want to appreciate you because you are a wonderful fan. Thank you for your kind comments on my post it means a lot to me 🙏🙏🙏
As if running lines with tom cruise was not enough, here's ali doing it again with jeremy renner.👏👏👏
It kinda felt like you doing karaoke of your favorite song with your favorite singer.
Jeremy Renner is my favorite.
I love Hawkeye! He's one of my favorite superheroes!
Jeremy Renner is such a great guy!!! I'm very excited for Hawkeye 😊😊
“Tired of shooting golf?”
“Well, I played 18. Shot 18… just can’t seem to miss.”
I don’t know why, but I just love that line so much…
🎉🎉🎉 You're a Gem, and a Avenger!!
When you're interviewing an actor and they finish with you the quote you started...
It's funny, The Town and Hurt Locker are my two favourite Jeremy Renner roles
The Town was decent. Hurt Locker, cringe level pretentiousness.
How did he look and seem? Is he tall? ;)
Thanks for your love, care and support. I really appreciate. Where are you from?
This guy should have his own app!!
Don't forget Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson in S.W.A.T.
@@mrjj_86 and both actors who played Rhodey in the MCU were in _Crash:_ Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle.
That's my photoshop 😁 Literally years old and still getting the reactions, thanks interviewer dudes!
The "and I have a bow and arrow, none of this makes sense" line is probably one of my favorites in the mcu.
I especially want to appreciate you because you are a wonderful fan. Thank you for your kind comments on my post it means a lot to me 🙏🙏🙏
Gem from the town is exactly who I think of everytime I see Jeremy Renner. Defining role for me if there is one
He's so nice, i'm so happy he got this series to truly explore him as a character! Man I wish Black Widow, I kinda like the first two acts of that film and then hate the third act! It really went off the rails bad then ...
Damn, didn't remember Mackie was in Hurt Locker. Falcon and Hawkeye met before
I want another Clint/Wanda interaction in the MCU.
Jeremy just seems like the biggest sweetheart. I really want to meet him!
I especially want to appreciate you because you are a wonderful fan. Thank you for your kind comments on my post it means a lot to me 🙏😍😍
Jeremy brings humanity and warmth and groundedness to the whole Avengers team. I didn’t used to appreciate these characteristics but RDJ’s daughter has great taste in super hero’s.
I especially want to appreciate you because you are a wonderful fan. Thank you for your kind comments on my post it means a lot to me 🙏🙏🙏
Best interviewer ever I love it
Loved his performance in Senior Trip
Great interview! Jeremy Renner is so engaged and interesting in this thanks to Ali asking non-generic questions!
He still looks like he is 30 years old, now that's amazing 😅
