I’ve had 3 light strikes on my brand new Buck Master Plus Vision. Currently holding just how you explained, it’s how I hold my 1911 .45 ACP. I never expected that’s what was causing the issue. Thank you so much. A little hand adjustment is all I need.
Torn between this and the Taurus TX22 Competition. Both are around $400 but the Taurus has 16 round magazines and is optics and suppressor ready out of the box. The Buck Mark is suppressor ready but needs a mounting plate to be able to mount optics. Nice review regardless 👍🏻
Yeah its only recently there's been a good trend of Rimfire .22LR's that approximate their 9mm/40mm style. I really want the Taurus TX22 Competition, and a Sig P322.
It’s common on M1911s and other handguns to bring your grip up as close to the bore as possible in order to minimize the lever while the handgun is recoiling. The thumb safety is in a natural place to rest your thumb with that technique. It’s a technique that doesn’t carry over to some guns like the Buckmark. Not that the Buckmark has much recoil to mitigate in the first place.
Got a new udx a few weeks back, wish I new about the urx before I bought it. Didn't realize the grip size was different and you can't put the urx grips on the udx. udx having the smallest grips and so far that being my only issue. Thought all Buckmarks had the same size grip. oh well, hogue tactical slip on arrived yesterday and hopefully will do the trick. Fits well at top but bottom is sloppy....wonder if you can heat gun the rubber to shrink or if that just ruins them. lol, actually watched the vid to see how you attached the red dot. it seems incredibly high and large, what's going on?
This seems like a good arm. My first gun that i fired was a 25. I am really into small arms though. And I was gonna get the Taurus raging bull but it seems its not even on the top ten for 22's. Are these defensive 22's or are all 22' pistols target pistols. The buckmark is being called a target pistol, but the now its sporting tactical rails and it gets a bigger scope than the Taurus raginig bull. I want one but is it an all around gun or is it just a recreational gun. I had the opportunity to purchase two Berretta 22's with the tactical rail too. Its on the top ten, but are these just competition guns.
Whats the barrel length? is that the camper whisper? How do you feel about this pistol suppressed ? accuracy, the action noise vs other items you have tried or owned ?
That's common for a Browning buckmark I have owned one for long time there the best competition pistol I think they shoot so good I want a suppressor for mine great video tho I know am commenting late but great video
Most of what you hear me talking is a voice-over that I do in post-production. A shooting range is hard to get good audio (wind noise, other people shooting, etc) so I end-up doing voice-over in editing.

I'd imagine the pressure of your thumb against the slide is slowing it down enough to cause the problem

Riding the safety pushes up on the top rail causing it to torque the slide.

Great review. My brother has a buckmark and its a tac driver.
Did you have a problem with the allchin mount? I did and had to drill out the hole it was just a little short. Was wondering if it was a urx thing

I don't know much about these, but you could use the c-more & silencer simultaneously, right?
yeah I did that later, just didn't' show it that way in the video (its on the end-screen)

You are a very proficient firearm operator. May I ask why did you choose this over the Ruger? Also, how are you mic ing the video? It sounds great.

That is not the safety it is the slide release. Yes it will mess you up.
Larry Jones it is the safety the slide release is ahead of that
Add a halo loop ring / hi waist kidex with can holder and that’s my build
