I love all the loud as hell techno music everyone just has to have in their videos.

Man the ending was great you couldn’t hear the gun at all almost like he muted the (main) part of his video to play this amazing ear blooding techno 🤤

One of the Camera's I had (the one fast enough for pistol) doesn't record any sound when its in slow-motion mode. Plenty of range footage in the middle of the video of shooting with no music, if you bothered to watch the video. Also I explain it at 1:30 in the video, UA-cam videos cannot make a realistic depiction of the gunshot sound anyways.

Great video and comparison. I'm looking at both of these and I find it interesting that the pistol mono core produce that first round pop. I like the Element, but its' also $100 more and I like the idea of the Sparrow's new SS internal shields, so you don't have to worry about lead melting the suppressor together. I'm totally confused on which to buy now...

Both seem louder than Dead Air Mask which does not have a FRP.

I noticed you have an FV-SR. Have you ran the AAC on it or done an accuracy test between the two? Is takedown just as easy on the AAC? I like that the only serialized part on the Sparrow is the outer sleeve, that shouldn't have any threads to damage. TIA.

+Taylor Diehl : in just casual .22 shooting with CCI Std Vel ammo, I've never noticed an accuracy difference from one to the other.

I just took delivery of the AAC Element II and have shot it on my Tactical Solutions 22 AR upper. Love it. Have not found a pistol to mount it on yet. Leaning toward the M&P 22 Compact. My question....what causes the first round pop? and why does the first round pop not happen with the rifle?

First round pop in a cold suppressor is oxygen burning off. It happens on mono core suppressors much more than those with individual baffles. Why ? Well, I have never heard one decent explanation on that yet. A pistol is worse than a rifle cuz the shorter barrel leaves more unburnt power available to the oxygen in the suppressor. I choose to run my sparrow on my pistols cuz I like the short length. My other .22 cans are a spectre 2, warlock 2, and a coastal hornet. I wish I had spent the extra money on the element 2 over the warlock 2.... Lesson learned.

I want to buy the aac 2 for my pcp pellet rifle. I wonder if u shot subsonic 5.56 through it would it ruin it? Seems like it wouldn't the sparrow can take .22 mag so that has at least the same energy as a 55gr going 1050 fps, thoughts?

In your opinion, for using on a pistol, Would you go with the aac element2? I am wanting to purchase my first can for my walther 22. I am torn between the two. The element is 50 dollars more but has the 200 dollar credit for parts etc till the end of the year.

sparrow is well known to have extremely loud FRP. suprised you weren't aware of this.
element2 has virtually none, as does the spectre.

I always spray a little RemOil down the front and back of the tube before mounting the suppressor. It's especially important to well lubricate the blast chamber or baffle of any suppressor because that will really lower the dB's noticably. When you lubricate the front chamber just before shooting you can eliminate first round pop in most pistol suppressors although monocores have so much air in them you might still get just a little. Try it.

What ammo? Hard to evaluate unless we know what ammo you are using. Obviously you are aware of this.
