      I've been through a similar timeline and it truly is something I can't explain.
      You start to cut off your emotions and blocking things that will hurt you, it's awful as it's like you can't feel which is true.
      You have to be brought out of it but you still have those scars and will still block certain things, it's away the brain starts to cope in order to protect you.
      The brain is an amazing thing I swear.

      @@charliedallachie3539 Yeah apparently the that bar didn't have any exits besides the one that had 24/7 surveillance from that camera (or at least so I heard from another such UA-cam channel telling these stories), which makes it really mysterious as to where he could have possibly gone. Almost as though someone at the bar took his life and hid his body in there and the bar later closed down for good, possibly taking with it the secrets it holds and the knowledge of the whereabouts of his body.

    The worst part about a lot of these stories is that they are simply opportunity crimes. Someone merely forgets a bus pass, or walks alone at night, gets separated from friends briefly… and then they are gone. • @technicolorrose5549
      @technicolorrose5549 3 роки тому +11

      Guys. This is what happened: Brittannee had a girlfriend get on the phone and speak to her mother pretending to be the mother of the friend she was supposedly staying with. So yes, actually in a way she did "check" up on it. Also Brittanee kept in contact with her by phone during the whole time so her mother wouldnt be suspicious. Her daughter was going through a tough time.
      Kids are going to lie to their parents. It happens. This lie, unfortunately, likely cost Brittannee (sorry can't remember proper spelling of her name) her life. It's easy to put the blame and point fingers in the aftermath. But no doubt her mom is just as devastated as she possibly can be. She will likely never be able to put her daughter to rest properly. She had little siblings (whom are older by now) and was also reconnecting with her biological father before she went missing so you know they are torn up too.

      Shalom
      1 Timothy 6:7-8 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.And having food and raiment let us be therewith content./inspiration+ Someone once said that there are no u-hauls behind hearses . The implication is that you can't take it with you when you die. There's a story of a man who tried. When the doctors told him he had a short time to live, he converts some of this cash into gold bricks, puts them in a suitcase and instructs that this suitcase should be buried with him. When he approaches the pearly gates carrying the suitcase, St. Peter stops him and asks to look inside the suitcase. The angel Gabriel asks, “What's in the suitcase?" “Pavement," replies St. Peter. The story illustrates that in heaven what we consider to be wealth on this earth is really nothing. Heaven’s streets are paved with gold. That would be the equivalent of us finding some kind of value in asphalt or concrete chunks here on earth. We spent a lot of time trying to get things on this earth. We spend a lot of time working to get more and more and more stuff that we just don't need. If you don't believe it, take a look at what happens when a person dies without an heir. A lawyer has to come in, open up the house, and sell off all the belongs to settle the estate. Thousands and thousands of dollars worth of stuff--sometimes still in boxes--is sold for pennies on the dollar. An entire lifetime of obtaining things and the only thing that happens is that strangers come in to pick over the possessions a giant yard sale. This passage tells us that we are to be content with what we have. We should be content with food and clothing. As long as our needs are met on a daily basis, that's really all we should ask for. Everything else is just bonus stuff and if we are spending time away from our families, if we're spending time focusing on getting rather than focusing on living, then we're being very foolish because we can't take it with us. When the end comes, all the stuff that we bought stay right here our closets or our garages. While we're on this earth we need to make the right choices and be sure that we are able to be content with what we have. Then we may end up with few things that we want. /prayer+ Father, I thank You for everything. I know sometimes I may seem discontent because there are things that I think that I want, things I think that I need, but the truth is I'm happy with my life. I'm happy with what You've done for me. I'm happy with my family, with my job, with the things that I have. I've seen what happens when you have too much stuff and I don't want that. When I get greedy you remind me that I have everything that I need and most of what I could ever want. I thank You Lord. Amen.

      Makes me think of the Norwegian and Danish girls who went backpacking in the Atlas mountains in Morocco a few years ago (2018 I think). They were seen in the company of some local men, then went on their hike. They were gangraped and beheaded the next night. The killers sent the video of the killing of one of the girls to her mother, and the photos of their severed heads. I haven't seen the video, but according to those that have, the last thing that girl screamed was "MOTHER!"
      It's heartbreaking beyond belief, but people need to teach their kids, especially their daughters, to not trust certain people. To not go to these countries (just search "white liberals believing in the goodness of everyone, go to [insert country], get murderered and left in a ditch!"). What did they expect?

    I'm from Columbus and I remember Brian's disappearance like it was yesterday. It's always been such an eerie event to me, because it's like he just... vanished into thin air. Nobody ever saw him leave that bar, and the security cameras never caught him again after he was seen talking to those two girls (not saying they had anything to do with it, I'm just pointing it out, that's all.)
    A lot of people think he fell into a construction site that was near the bar, but who knows man. It's just so creepy to watch someone walk into a bar and _never_ come out again. Watching anyone's last known moments like this is very surreal 😕

  • @luciferschoice
    @luciferschoice 3 роки тому +66

    About Brian: I believe that, at that time, there was a construction side behind the bar. Basically the second entrance was blocked off by it. And the owners never allowed the police to search there, I think. At least this is what I heard of this case :/" If he is somewhere - he is buried within that construction side.

    • @quizzabella
      @quizzabella 3 роки тому +26

      Does sound likely. He looks like he was a pretty big bloke, disposing of a body in water would have been difficult. Not sure what went down, but dumping a load of concrete on a body is a lot easier than trying to put it in water and weigh it down. If the owners didn't allow a search then that is really suspicious.

    Brittanee Drexel's case was solved in 2022. From a news article:
    Authorities have made an arrest after locating the remains of 17-year-old Brittanee Drexel, who went missing from Myrtle Beach in 2009. Authorities accused Raymond Moody Monday of burying a deceased Drexel. His charges include rape, murder and kidnapping, and he is in custody, according to officials.
    The previous week, human remains were found during a search effort in a wooded area close to the Harmony Township subdivision. Officials said dental records confirmed the remains belonged to Drexel.
    Drexel's parents, Chad Drexel and Dawn Pleckan, also spoke from the podium, asking for privacy at this time. They did note that there would be celebrations of life in both Rochester and Myrtle Beach in the future. The two concluded by thanking law enforcement for their work on the case, adding that they were ready to bring Drexel home.

They could've beat him up or killed him back there or in the back entrance & threw him in a trunk of a waiting car or perhaps even buried under the floorboards & no one noticed as the construction continued. Such a sad story.

    The music for the last one really makes the whole thing terrifying and a nightmare for anyone, letting one's imagination run wild with what could have happened to lead to the girl's disappearance. Simply terrifying.

    As a retired Detective, the Brian Shafer case must haunt the assigned detectives to this day. There's always that one case that does. I can't imagine the hours put into watching the surveillance footage. Trying to find witnesses in a highly transient area is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Of course, we don't know what the investigators, but my best guess is they have looked very heavy into the Tuna Saloona staff.
    In other reports, it is stated that there was one door that did not have a security camera. My opinion is, just like a lot of nightclubs there was a reason it didn't. This is not to lay blame, it's just an observation.

    13:24 Brians throwing up signs in a few of his pics. Pretty weird.
    I think maybe he was speaking to those two girls, and maybe one of them had a jealous bf, and there might of been an altercation near the pub. Is it near water? Bc maybe someone jumped him/punched him, knocked him out and then threw him in the water, and he drowned. Either way, thats a shame for all of his fam & friends

    The Brian Shaffer case is a really weird one in the sense that he entered the bar and wasn't seen leaving it. Either the recordings were tampered with as something happened there, or he changed clothing inside the bar and left.

    • @ItsAv3rageGamer
      @ItsAv3rageGamer 3 роки тому +4

      Even if he changed clothing he would have been spotted. Some have suggested he left via a different exit. I've seen videos of people going around the place and finding fire escape doors that lead to a car park.

    • @sharkuel
      @sharkuel 3 роки тому +1

      @@ItsAv3rageGamer a change of clothing and a well placed hat can do wonders, believe me. But yes, it is possible that he used an emergency escape to leave the bar and go straight to the parking lot. But then again, it doesn't make the case any less weirder. And the fact that he was adamant for celebration a week or so his mother died, not gonna lie, that sounds like something that a depressed person would do at the "own demise" acceptance stage.

    • @consciousobserver629
      @consciousobserver629 3 роки тому +1

      I wonder if he was coerced into leaving via another exit. That's what I thought the first I saw his case covered. There is a slight chance he was killed in the bar and carried out in a bin (not as likely).. I only wondered this because I at first thought cameras were covering the other exits.

    • @hankbellamy
