    No, she was NOT 26 years old with a 12 year old child, by a 56 year old man. It’s bad translation since the source material is in Spanish. In Spanish you would say “su esposa de 26 anos” which should be translated as “his wife of 26 years”. Google instead translates that to “his 26 year old wife”. It’s pretty obvious by their pictures that she’s not 26.

    • @KaleidosXXI
      @KaleidosXXI 3 роки тому +47

      That'd be because most of their calls are either fake or don't warrant a dispatch or can't be given one, a report can't be followed up on if it doesn't meet the minimum criteria that dispatchers are required to follow as per their training, such as a missing person's report being made before enough time has elapsed to actually declare the subject as missing.
      They aren't just sitting around doing nothing and blowing off every call they get, each dispatcher goes through hundreds of calls a week with a small fraction being a report they can act on, and even if they dismiss a report they still make note of it in case it needs to be followed up on later.

      I know with missing people ect there is a green amber red system in the U.K. and with that they can determine the threat the person is under. Friend who works in dispatch said that they had a women who was reported missing by land lord. She wasn’t English and had be known to visit family around the U.K. and move around and had been reported missing in the past only to turn up in another city completely unharmed. So the was put as green. Then a week later man arrested in Scotland for murder of her and her daughter.

      I know what you mean! All the innocent and loyal animal companions should be our special care, always. We need to follow Australia's lead, and designate dogs legally sentient beings, which means they cannot legally be mistreated without severe consequences. Right now, in the USA, you might have a devoted service dog because you're blind, who has been your friend for years and years. You are practically able to read each others mind, and are never lonely with your companion by your side, plus you are able to navigate the world independently with your "other half".
      If someone comes to your yard and shoots your invaluable companion, they, under the law, are only liable for minor "property" damage, like about 25 dollars, because dogs are considered property like plants and lawn mowers. This scenario has played out in real life over and over, where vicious and violent people can kill someones pet with almost zero consequence, and the law protects them. This can change, it must change, and you can do something about it. Look up on Google everything you can about this topic, and start fighting for the right of people to protect what is irreplaceable beyond any monetary value, and help change the law! If Australia could do it, so can everyone else. Write your congressman or woman, your mayor, ask questions, write editorials to the paper. Start a fight for the voiceless, feel bad, then get mad, and make a change! We all can.

    The Inuit village story was debunked immediately by the RCMP. The “story” that relies completely on Joe being a regular visitor collapsed when the RCMP started an investigation and found Joe he admitted this was the one and only time he had been fur trapping. Even though they knewJoe was full of crap they went to the area he originally said the village was in and no trace of a village was found there and when they went to the closest Inuit community they said it would be to hard to live in that area because it’s to far north. A photo that Joe had dated to 1909 was traced back to the trapper outfitting shop he bought his equipment from and the shop owners said it was given to the shop along with the camera for payment for goods and that when he sold it to Joe it wasn’t dated. The story has appeared at different times with different names from the time of Joe but forgotten until 1959 when it received wide release in a book about Unsolved mysteries and now this nonsense. It takes 2 seconds to see this is crap.

    Their dead were taken also which makes a alien abduction seem plausible because alien abductions are from what we know have to do with their research,food,or DNA manipulation for breeding with another species.

    Interesting thing about the disappearance of the Anjikuni people - There's no evidence they ever existed. The story that was told by Joe Labelle was filled with holes and it was obvious he wasn't familiar with the area. For instance he mentions kayaks pulled up on the shore... yet it's November in the high arctic, when Anjinuki Lake is just a layer of ice indistinguishable from the surrounding terrain. There's no shore to pull kayaks onto, let alone the fact that it would be extremely uncommon to find Inuit people using kayaks so far inland. There's plenty more as well, but on top of that the story was quickly forgotten, but then it grew new details in the 1950s when someone wrote a book about it.
    All signs point to an old-timey hoax on this one.

    Never knew about the Indians dunes story. I live in portage which is literally right next to it.
    We also have a road called stagecoach which is supposed to have a lot of shit happen to people but it's hard finding info on it.
    I drove down it one night and it really is freaky at night the road is so tight and the trees on both sides of you are so suffocating and dark. Trying to turn around had me in the same situation as in Austin Powers 2 when that guy kept going back and forth until he was stuck.
    I'm not sure if Google Maps have been down that road but you should check it out.
    Somebody actually wrote a book with stagecoach as part of the plot but it was intentionally fictional. Still cool though something about a guy getting made fun of or screwed over I'm not sure then years later goes after them. Not very original but still cool.
    There's a big hill off the road and I've heard many stories of there being cults that used to use the area by it. A fiend and I tried walking into tee woods but there was way too many thorn bushes and the grass was like knee high so fuck that when you have shorts on.
