I lived from age 11 to 18 in a haunted house. Often it sounded like there was a crowd of people talking in rooms that were unoccupied like the attic , when checked the sound stopped after we opened the door. Doors that were locked opened itself and vice versa. Footsteps passed in the hallways along with a cold feeling. The strangest thing happened with this old record player i owned. Often it started turning backwards. Also the mechanism that lifted the needle of the record at the end of the record was broke so the needle kept going on that endpiece of a record. After turning at that end of one of my records a voice was engraved in that silent piece, the voice obviously was never there before. It was a womans voice that said "uti aung", i never discovered what this ment, if it ment anything at all. This was all seen and experienced by friends and family and the record always kept that strange voice at the end. I was relieved when i moved out and that "it" did not follow me to my new residence.

I lived from the age of 19 to 26 in Karlstad, Sweden (I consider it my hometown), and I don't think I need Top5s to bring up what awful stuff has happened there. It's a medium-sized Swedish city (meaning some 60k people, more in the surrounding area), with not much happening (before Sweden became "diverse", that is). Just a block down from me, in the northern suburbs, there was a shooting between two Turkish gangs. And less than a hundred meters from there, when I lived there, schoolkids on the way home found a headless body just behind the bear statue. It was a 30 year old man who had been killed over some drug business. I must say, it makes the place sound a lot worse than it is... living there for all those years, almost all you see are families with children, and old pensioners. Then these things pop up. Very strange. (Oh I was also approached once by a police officer asking me to be cautious as there had been rape attempts in the area. Again. Welcome to New Sweden.)
This is so crazy! I never in my wildest dreams would’ve thought I heard my hometown just randomly come up on any of the scary and or too 5’s videos I watch! Shout out to Leesburg VA! Crazy. I had no idea this murder ever even happened! Thank you for sharing!
I’ve never experienced paranormal activity but my wife has multiple times. We stayed in a hotel across from Disney land and she was awakened by a child’s voice whispering “mom mom mom” she woke up thinking it was one of our daughters but they were sound asleep. I told her they come to you because you believe.
I have never experienced anything either, but I do believe in it. I think most stories can be explained away by our suggestive minds that want to see things, but even if only 1% of stories can't be explained away, that leaves possibly millions of accounts.

Just six months before the Lillelid murders we had moved to a farmhouse just outside of Baileyton from Dallas hoping that our children (small at the time) would be safer there than in a big city. Not only that but 3 weeks after the murders an elderly man was murdered by his granddaughter because he refused to give her money for drugs. So she wheeled him to the driveway in his wheelchair and ran him over. He lived up the road about 10 miles. Later that year I watched a shoot out from my front porch as police attempted to arrest a drug smuggling ring set up in a trailer about a mile away. So much for safer. Eight months later we moved.

I live on the pike county line in West Virginia I remember when this happened I love about 25 minutes from pikeville. But I’ve never heard of the tan man
Wow, my family is from Pike County KY so imagine my surprise that the very first story was from there! Especially since it’s a pretty impoverished, very rural place. They didn’t even have a Walmart until the late 90’s I don’t think.
Harry Houdini died from being punched in the stomach. It was a "trick" he would preform at fairs and such. Harry did abdominal exercises when this type of muscle building was relatively unknown so he would allow anyone to come up on stage and punch him in the stomach. However, the punch that killed him was not on stage some goon who had seen the act approached Harry as he was just walking around and surprised him with a wallop to the gut. Harry died later of internal bleeding.
Um... no. Nope, you're not even a little right. Harry Houdini did not die from internal bleeding, and the myth that a single punch killed him has been widely debunked. Houdini's official cause of death is listed as peritonitis caused by a ruptured appendix. He had been very sick in the days leading up to the event with a high fever and abdominal pain and had been advised not to perform in the show that preceded the infamous punches. The man actually rabbit punched him repeatedly in the gut, delivering more than one blow, but cases of traumatic appendix ruptures are incredibly rare and it is far more likely that Houdini's appendix burst naturally. Houdini finally agreed to go to the hospital a full day (and one whole performance) later, but it was too late. Despite 2 operations, he could not be saved. He died a week later. TLDR? While it is possible that the infamous punches might have contributed to Houdini's already grave state of acute appendicitis, the majority of experts believe by that point, Houdini would have died whether he'd been punched or not, due mainly to his dedication to performing, his unholy stubbornness, and an unwillingness to treat his illness as directed by his doctor. A freaking legend in every way. But don't take my word for it. All the info is right there at your fingertips. blog.yalebooks.com/2020/03/11/did-houdini-really-die-after-being-sucker-punched/ www.history.com/news/what-killed-harry-houdini allthatsinteresting.com/how-did-houdini-die
@@smittysmeee is that right well ty for the correction. Oops looks like I ty too soon looking into the death of Harry Houdini brought this up "One of the students, named J. Gordon Whitehead, was reportedly extra curious about one of Houdini's tricks in particular. Harry was well known for his uncanny ability to withstand a blow to the stomach, and according to witnesses, Whitehead wanted to know if he was really impervious to gut punches, also asking if Houdini believed "in the miracles of the Bible," which is some Tarantino-level foreboding dialogue, before dropping "four or five terribly forcible, deliberate, well-directed blows" right into the unprepared escape artist's abdomen." So it would seem that the legend of Harrys death is true after all or I guess whatever you wish to believe. Read More: www.grunge.com/181176/the-truth-about-harry-houdinis-death/?

I'm from Pike County KY, Pikeville to be exact. I remember the kids that killed the family. I use to go to church with on of the murderers mother, don't remember her first name, but it was the Howell girl. If her mother is any indication of what kind of person the daughter was, it makes sense, because that lady was insane. You only just scratched the surface of the insanity that has happened and still goes on in this area haha. Cool to see my hometown on here :D
The weirdest "paranormal" activity I've experienced was when I stayed in a hotel, not knowing it's apparently haunted; I felt uneasy in my room, it was very cold regardless of me putting the heating on, I swear I could hear foot steps in my room during the night, I woke up convinced there was someone in the corner of my room and while I was showering my instinct just told me not to turn my back to the door, it was all so strange. I didn't see anything but this was still the weirdest thing I've ever experienced.

I live on the pike county line in West Virginia I remember when this happened I love about 25 minutes from pikeville. But I’ve never heard of the tan man
Why'd we have to do Houdini dirty like that?! IT WAS A COLD DAY OKAAAY!!!
Loved it. 💙💙💙
Wow, my family is from Pike County KY so imagine my surprise that the very first story was from there! Especially since it’s a pretty impoverished, very rural place. They didn’t even have a Walmart until the late 90’s I don’t think.
no there was a walmart there in the early 90s
#1, woken up by pounding on the door, dad tells the child to 'go check it out then!'
I cant be the only one thinking ' What a guy!!'
It's almost October!!!!!!!
The first case is tragic and saddening.

Australian President?? We don't have Presidents, we have Prime Ministers.
I never thought Orthodoxy would get a mention here! Kristos voskrese!
Voistinu voskrese :) I find it interesting, too, how their community and the Native community blended culturally in that area, rather than one violently imposing their beliefs on another 🙂
@@Bella.Parabellum I suspect the harsh environment and isolation led to a... spirit of cooperation, so to speak, in a age when your heat came from wood stoves and light from candles.

Yay my hometown canberra got mentioned 😃😃
I'm from Pike County KY, Pikeville to be exact. I remember the kids that killed the family. I use to go to church with on of the murderers mother, don't remember her first name, but it was the Howell girl. If her mother is any indication of what kind of person the daughter was, it makes sense, because that lady was insane. You only just scratched the surface of the insanity that has happened and still goes on in this area haha. Cool to see my hometown on here :D
But it's not cool. It's disturbing. So much darkness in your neck of the woods.
Cool video.
1st story - just take the bloody car
Great show, I have fun counting how many words are mispronounced,
