Why are the people in the comments section so fucking rude? At the end of the day we are all human beings, Male, Female, Non-Binary etc. Before we start judging each other based on their gender, see them as another human and ask yourself about who you are. You can’t be that good of a person if you’re bashing on others. Just show more love and support for one another.
Chronic Town I completely agree, this world is tough enough for all of us without all of this hate. We can change this world for the better for the younger generation if only we learn to be more understanding and respectful towards one another. Little changes make big differences.
+Sukossje Exactly! I know someone once said that "It's not about passing, it's about being the most true you that you can be." And that really resonated with me, because I DON'T pass in the least right now, but it's still very much who I am.
This comment section is horrible, a trans/non-binary person could read the comments and it will make them feel horrible and depressed, the LGBTQ+ community gets bullied a lot which leads to anxiety, depression, and even suicide. They could already feel depressed, and these comments might push them to the point where they won’t want to live anymore. It makes me sad that people can be so openly horrible and mean. Why does it even matter to you what someone identifies as, it has nothing to do with you. And let me ask you this, what would you do if one day you woke up and you were born the opposite gender, and felt like you were the opposite gender of your “biological gender”, would you really just not change anything, and just live as a gender you don’t identify with? #equality 🏳️🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🏳️🌈
+Pastafrola +Pastafrola sounds like she's just enforcing the stereotype that woman are sensitive. No woman cries spontaneously, in most circumstances. I understand people may want to become transgender because they identify with a certain gender. But I feel like it's more trans people identifying with the socially constructed ideology of being a woman. In my eyes, its more of them conforming to the idea of what a woman should be. Being a woman is much more than being emotional, getting your hair done and wearing make up and skirts.
Hormones, hormones change your emotions for example, since I have started testosterone I haven't cried in 7 months even when I'm really upset but before I would have blubbered 😂 your hormones can effect your emotions massively
It pissed me off when the ginger woman said that crying spontaneously was "an experience of womanhood". I haven't cried in years, and when I do it's for a good reason. In general, women don't just spontaneously cry--if that's happening to her it's either because of the hormones she's presumably on or the actual emotions she's experiencing. Please don't take that and use it to belittle your own gender, even if it was just a casual thought. I would've expected more feminism from someone who's part of such a liberal community
+Bri Elli I think her experience was more due to accepted crying. For men crying is discouraged in the traditional gender role and therefore a more distanced feeling.
+Bri Elli I've had this happen to a friend who is mtf, she kind of makes the mistake of assuming that everything that happens under the influence of estrogen and other hormone replacement treatment during transition is what cis women experience all the time. Listening to her experiences of having emotional outbursts reminds me of the hormonal changes pregnant women go through, not women in general.
+Bri Elli femininity is experienced differently for everyone. if that's symbolic, to her, of being a woman so be it. just because it's not your truth doesn't mean it's not someone else's truth. you don't get to define femininity for other people.
本田盾子 That's a pretty modern English idea. Lots of cultures have had more than one gender recognized throughout history. There is "two-spirit" in the Native American culture (England tried to wiped them all out.) It's really not that hard to Google.
Hey, any trans men or woman struggling with gender dysphoria or people not accepting who you are, just know I accept you and being trans is ok! You're pretty cool and I love you : ) I know there's a lot of hate on this video but just remember: You're not mentally ill. Its ok to feel the way you feel. If you're a boy then you're a boy. If you're a girl then you're a girl. If you feel nobody loves you; i love you! Don't believe people when they say you need therapy or something is wrong with you. Don't listen to anything negative that anyone is saying. You do you and there are people who support you and love you
I disagree, I don't think most women or girls becoming women do.Well definitely not myself and my circle of friends and a good few other women here have agreed. Hormonal changes have tried emotion fine say that, but spontaneous an experience of womanhood, not my experience. So you can't put that on every woman now can you.
Since when do women in general just cry spontaneously?! Being one I've never found that to be true. Being feminine doesn't mean being weak or overemotional.
I think she meant because of the hormones, they tend to do that. and crying isn't necessarily a sign of weakness so i don't see what's wrong with it, it happens to some women when their hormones change.
Night Cat I agree with u. I'm a guy and girls are not weak or overemotional. I personally think that women should get the same privileges as men do. And I think people should agree with me.
I’m trans and these comments are disgusting. People calling for torture of trans people, people invalidating is and openly being unsupportive of us. It’s disgusting. Why be here if you don’t support us?
I cannot get over the amount of hatred in the comments. It is much worse than the homophobia. I don't understand why people want to hate these trans people. I don't care how uncomfortable it makes you or what, it's never okay to treat these people like that. They have every right to be who they are as everyone else. You transphobes are the ones who are being monsters.
@@rwhoosh1122 Then you don't support the LGBTQ community. Get out of here. You can't pick and choose what you support. There's no LGB or LG community. LGBTQ. You either accept it all or you don't.
I was born a woman and don't "spontaneously cry." That is not a part of being a woman and you are just reinforcing gender stereotypes that shouldn't exist. Men cry, and women cry. Some don't cry at all. It doesn't make you more of a man or a woman. Perhaps you are reacting to your hormone supplements and should have a doctor reassess your dosage.
+SCC I've had this happen to a friend who is mtf, she kind of makes the mistake of assuming that everything that happens under the influence of estrogen and other hormone replacement treatment during transition is what cis women experience all the time. Listening to her experiences of having emotional outbursts reminds me of the hormonal changes pregnant women go through, not women in general. I don't spontaneously cry either, I rarely cry to be honest. Maybe 4 times in the last 10 years, and that's being generous. I don't think it has that much to do with your sex, I mean sure hormones play a role there but not to such an extent that there is a clear divide between men and women.
+SCC I'd heard that the early stages of HRT sort of makes your body undergo kind of a second puberty. And puberty, whether you're male or female, makes your emotions go all wonky. So perhaps she's generalizing something she shouldn't, but I think that's where she's coming from.
+SCC femininity is experienced differently for everyone. if that's symbolic, to her, of being a woman so be it. just because it's not your truth doesn't mean it's not someone else's truth. you don't get to define femininity for other people.
I could not imagine the black trans woman and the black trans man being the opposite. The trans woman is so pretty, and the trans man is so good looking! It's amazing what science can do to help these people become who they really are.
andrew carson Would you have a relationship with a trans man? Just curious. I think you probably wouldn't , but would be interesting to hear it from you.
There was a man with a beard and tattoos and chest hair that came up to us on the beach and he had a very feminine voice and when he asked a question the look on my moms face almost made me laugh because she looked at him to horrified and when he left I told my mom that he's just a man and my mom is like "no. He's not a man and shouldn't be a man." And that made me really upset because she can't accept what someone else feels is right
My parents are the same, add in a little racist. It's horrible.. Luckily they accept my rationality and love towards everyone. If they found out I was pansexual they'd probably kill me though.
+PoweredByBinary Well I hate that my granddad is against gay and black people. He calls black people mutants (what is horrible). And if like on the television they speak about gay people he is like cursing and stuff and I hate it, and the wierd thing is that my granddad is normally sooo sweet but not when it comes to black and gay people
Want to know what I fucking hate? My brother is f to m trans and practically all my friends who know that always refer to him as "she" or "her". I always correct them but they keep doing it!!! That's probably why I've cut most of them off by now.
wtf is a name why would I be trans for attention? 😂. I get abused for being trans, I don’t think it’s for attention hunny, and Pansexuality is not loving by gender and I’m sure that’s acceptable 😂
Knew I shouldn't have scrolled down to the comments. Transhphobes can buy a life in the gift shop on the way to the exit. And of course there'd be hate towards Caitlyn on a video that doesn't even mention her. Funny how you guys can claim to hate her but do nothing except talk about her. But that's none of my business...
I feel like the girl in the black and white gets attitude from women because no one knows she’s trans and they’re jealous and that’s why men are nice to her because she’s pretty
The problem with cis women, gay community and the heterosexual community is the we expected every transgender (male to female ) to hot, sexy and supper attractive. Beauty comes in all shape and colors, races and cultures. Yet if we can’t find love and respect within the gay “community” we will never get any respect or tolerance from the heterosexual community.
thank you for making these videos, I live in Minnesota and work for hyvee & every day i have to deal with more trans-phobia. up to being told i cant have call me my name or told i cant be promoted because they spontaneously will freeze full time hiring when i apply. to know that there is a greater community out there truly helps on the days when i am in a bad space, thank you.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but what part do you live in? I live in the southwest.....but damn I probably wouldn't want to move to where you are just from the transphobia

I'm also in Minnesota - near the Wisconsin border. I'm ftm transgender and it's actually pretty great when it comes to jobs here. Minnetonka is also great too, my girlfriend lives there. Also, if you're over 21, my uncle works at a bar in Minneapolis at a place called The Saloon
The woman wearing the beautiful black headscarf is 100% more gorgeous than any woman I personally know. Also does anyone know the name of that style of wrap? It's so lovely!
+dsadad21I said "more gorgeous than any woman I personally know". And based on your comment, it sounds like you're the disgusting fool, not I. Telling a woman you've never met that she should undergo female castration for thinking a trans woman is beautiful? What kind of vile person say such a thing? Please take your nastiness out of here. Good day.
Actually there isn't. No matter whether they've had sex change surgery or not, you should still be respectful. And no one is going to listen to a bigot blubbering about *science, science, science...* Do you even know how much controversy there is on that subject?
Coldvisitor I followed up with "there is a lot of controversy on that subject". In science. I'm not saying science isn't reliable, I'm saying not all studies are reliable, plus some scientists are also bigots
adam zarbon you define them by any other -phobes. Personally people can have opinions and just aren’t capable with adjusting to trans people coming out, because they are scared in a way. But the real transphobics (from what I’ve seen) are the people who go out of their way to openly discriminate against trans people and call them freaks, disgusting and wrong. They don’t treat trans people as regular humans. Even if it’s true that trans people have dysphoria, which technically could be classified as a mental illness, in a transphobe’s eyes they see it as like... how antivaxxers see autism, if you get what I mean. They see it as something that is disfiguring the person in the wrong way, because they don’t think that people shouldn’t be what their binary gender is. Transphobes don’t seem to understand the difference between female/male brains in the wrong body. sorry if I confused you more
I've heard the IT thing from a transgirl about my age. she said it has to do with that how technology brought us together and how we connect over it. technology is important is what she said.
Saying "I never would have guessed they were transgender" isn't a compliment. There's no definition to what any certain gender should look like so please stop reinforcing the idea that there should be.
+Jody-Ann Freeman I believe he says that because normally you can see if a person is transgender or not, but he reaaally looks like a guy. And not a bad looking one either.
Around 1:38 she said cis women are noticeably standoffish, it's jealousy. They are jealous of your beautiful confidence. I was more confident than most girls in high school so I learned from a young age that other girls/women do not like when someone is more confident then they are. This seems to only be true to girls with very low self esteem. My point is if a girl is short or rude to you for no reason or without barely knowing you it's because she sees that you are happy with yourself and sadly she doesn't feel the same way about herself. It's a reflection of them, not you. ❤️
for everyone in the comments saying that transwomen or transmen did a good job transitioning or who are saying 'wow! you cant even tell she used to be male' is transphobic. it largly implies that trans people are not actually male/female/other! sorry if i came off as agressive, just to let you know, i didnt mean to. i hope you all keep this in mind!
fyi humans are actually a species that their gender doesn't relate to their genetalia.(I forgot what it's called, "mono-something" lol) but yeah, humans are born with certain genetalia, but gender is more of a thing that helps people identify who they are. The strict stereotypes of males and females is created from society. Conclusion: I blame the media .-.
+Amanda Duckett Here's an interesting Psychology Today article about that, if you're interested! www.psychologytoday.com/blog/laugh-cry-live/201509/are-transgender-women-just-reinforcing-sexist-stereotypes In summary, there are distinct biological differences between female and male brains, but stereotypical gender expectations are often influenced by culture.
Real women upset because they are labelled “transphobic’” because they are forced to share women’s spaces with trans ‘women’. This is so trans ‘women’ don’t feel upset if forced to use men’s spaces.
+That Thing You Think You See In The Dark how are they inspiring? Well, they are all people who accept themselves as they are and accept other people as they are.. I find acceptance very inspiring and encouraging, they all seemed very positive which also inspired me to be more positive and confident
GeorgiaL Aldred But since they were born in the wrong body, wouldn't accepting themselves the way they are involve staying in that body and not changing it?
+That Thing You Think You See In The Dark 'the way they are' is male or female. 'the way they are' is how they feel about themselves. a trans man is a man. a trans woman is a woman. thats just the way they are.
Wtf is wrong with this comment section you can be who you want it’s your life and judging others ok that’s human nature but keep it to yourself and stop oppressing these people who are just trying to live their life.
Coldvisitor Yes, that does make sense. Though the point does not change that it is their life, if they want to change something about them and that makes them happy they can go for it. I am not trying to say that you can turn into the impossible. I could have worded it better I do understand that. Though everyone that has brought down this video has really upset me, because of the amount of hate. I will give you this though you do make a valid point.
@@ColdVisitor115 Why do people jump from seeing someone change gender to automatically comparing it against changing species? They are completely unrelated analogies that no one has ever seriously considered. Even the very very very small minority of people who are otherkin know they will never be another species, they just have fun pretending. Gender dysphoria is not pretending, it's not even close to the same thing.
2:05 spontaneous crying is women hood? I'm confused... So men can not cry... The feminist in me is pissed but let me keep being sensitive to people 😑😑😑😑
+Jasmine McGimpsey I have actually heard many trans people experience surprise at the differences in their ability to cry after taking hormones. For example, trans men who found actually producing tears more difficult after they started taking testosterone even though they were feeling exactly the same things. Hormones really do play a big role in our physiology. It's bigger than voice level and fat distribution
+Sarah Fitzpatrick honestly I regardless when talkin about trans people cis people are expected to walk on egg shells but trans people say as they please, at the end of the day though they may have felt as if they were in the wrong body, and faced struggles I will never kno but a lot of trans people still received the privilege of being men and still tend to use mass generalization about what it means to be a women, for example a lot of the trans people I kno go crazy with the color pink because it's "feminine" because it's stereotypical, over all what I'm trying to say is people in transition have this theory of what that think a women is and try to fit that mold just as someone that was trying to assume another's race would do and it tend to be a load of stereotypes
+Jasmine McGimps Well it is more common with women, since the part of their brain that is responsible for emotions is more developed than in mens brains. While in the brain of a guy, the part that is responsible for logical thinking (maths and such) is more developed. Also, on average, the brain of a man is 10% bigger than that of a woman, but that doesn't coherently mean they are smarter. So there is some truth to what she said.
I agree with you Jasmine. The thing is that the transgender community benefits from the Identity narrative, which allows people to be more accepting of trans people's choice to change their bodies. Once trans people get more visible and tolerated, then it will be safe to have an open discussion about how gender is an extremely limiting and stereotyping concept that we should rather get rid off. In the future, I think no one will identify as something in particular but have the choice to change their bodies as they please.
+reda oliver thanks for proving a pointless point... If this is the case pills can not undevelope brain size.... Emotional development has a lot to do with child bearing but it still does not change the fact that he/she mad a large generization about women

Jordan Anime I get bullied to and I’m sorry but when one group has a 40% higher chance of suicide than me there’s something wrong.

"Crying spontaneously" how is that an expamle of woman hood?
+lovemelikechicken1 I guess having the freedom to express a vulnerable emotion?
+Pastafrola +Pastafrola sounds like she's just enforcing the stereotype that woman are sensitive. No woman cries spontaneously, in most circumstances. I understand people may want to become transgender because they identify with a certain gender. But I feel like it's more trans people identifying with the socially constructed ideology of being a woman. In my eyes, its more of them conforming to the idea of what a woman should be. Being a woman is much more than being emotional, getting your hair done and wearing make up and skirts.
+Comrade Ogilvy I'm pretty sure that's what she was hinting at. idk
Pastafrola Wait a sec! Did you just make a reference there?!
+Bri Elli shh I literally cry at least once a week leave her be
+Bri Elli I think her experience was more due to accepted crying.
The Black man seriously looked like a man, i would never tell the difference
+Donyea Mosley The black _woman_. Referring to a transperson as their former gender is considered offensive.
+Ikajo i think they were referring to the trans man that's black, not the trans woman.

I don't think crying spontaneously is an experience of women hood personally. if i rarely cry its for a damn good reason.
Arlene Davis I agree!
Well for her, she is basically experiencing puberty, which most women do spontaneously cry, from my knowledge.
Hi Fiona, it can happen to me esp if it's a day or two before my cycle starts, not every month but it happens. =)

I totally now have a crush on the woman in the gold hoop earrings. Anyone else with me. 😁
+SCC Seconded. Born female and I don't "spontaneously cry" either, crying isn't a part of being a woman.

Since when is spontaneous crying an "experience of womanhood"?
+suelynn bunn Well, it was her experience of womanhood.
When trans women start oestrogen they find they are a lot more emotional whereas testosterone makes it more difficult to cry usually

Eh, it is what it is.
adam zarbon you define them by any other -phobes.

+Jasmine McGimps
Well it is more common with women, since the part of their brain that is responsible for emotions is more developed than in mens brains.
