So whilst i never acted like your typical girl at the time (i also just played with the ken doll when stuck playing with barbie, till i cpuld get my hands on my Thomas the tank engine) i just kept thinking i was breaking the gender stereotype for girls but last year i ended up finding out more about being trans and found a lot of stuff just clicking with me and ever since then I've felt so much happier as a person. I was exactly the same way. I always knew something wasn’t right but I didn’t think it was because I was trans until I was 20. Everyone’s story is different.
I didn't start questioning until about a year ago (I'm 18 now) but I think it was cause I had a lot of internalized transphobia since I was raised by homophobic baptists

But that has nothing really to do with being transgender. There are trans masculine guys and trans feminine guys it's not about not wanting to wear pink or wanting long hair. It's about the mental physical block that is called dysforia and its important for people to know that so people can take trans people seriously and stop telling us that we can be tom boys and dont have to "go that far".
When everyone was starting puberty at school, I remember my female friend talking about how she wished she wasn't flat chested. I said "You're lucky." I thought everyone had dysphoria and hated themselves like I did because I didn't know what trans was yet. Pretty funny when I think about it now.
I always wanted to be flat chested lol. I was never diagnosed as gender dysphoric and dont think I could have it because Im bigender but i still dont get what gender dysphoria is.
im trans, and for the first time during one of these videos, it dawned on me these guys grew up female. like me. and that makes me feel less alone... silly, i know, since it should have been obvious... but still. i want to be like them someday.
+4kkjwkaz you're invalidating their trains identity. They were always a man, and the idea that one must "look like a man" to be a man means that trans men that still look rather feminine aren't truly men
I would always wear dresses and play with barbies and it's like now I'm not a female and I am soooo scared to come out. I'm 95% positive that no one will let me transition.
youll never know until you actually do it. dont make a situation bad in your head before it happens, it will certainly turn out that way. and if it really is a bad situation, people who dont accept you are not people you want in your life. Ik that since Im a cis female, this probably doesnt help, but hey, I tried.
honestly, when I look at trans people, I see a regular human being, if it's a trans guy, I see a guy, if it's a trans girl, I see a girl, like they don't need labels, they are who they feel and people need to just learn to respect that
I'm a transguy but I'm really feminie. I'm just not masculine at all which is why I get a lot of hate and people tell me I'm 'not really trans'. It bothers me a lot bc I think that I don't need to act a certain way just to be a guy even if that's what everyone tells me.
You're completely right bud! This video kinda made me grind my teeth, trans people don't have to have "always been masculine" or "always been feminine" in order for their identity to be valid. I feel like they could have gotten a better representative group because this is all kinda what society expects of trans people rather than the reality.
I'm in chorus at school and there's a lot of feminine guys there, and that makes me feel better lol. Even though I'm gay, I like to appear as straight guy stereotype.
When I watch these buzzfeed videos that talk about transgender people and other stuff, I feel less alone... It keeps me motivated to keep fighting. Thank you, buzzfeed.
As someone just starting their FTM transition, I thank you for this video. Everyday, I worry about being antagonized by people (and police), for being trans, and black, and I'm glad there was a black man to explain what he goes through. Thank you for pointing out that we are people too! Happy Coming out Day!
I knew about people being trans but I just could NOT be trans, I wasn't a boy, I couldn't be. It wasn't until I had friends come out to me and be open about it, truly, that I really recognized that it was an option and I could be what made me feel comfortable. A man. I'm a man, and I'm happy to say so.
Thank you buzzfeed. All these stories those words. They help me to understand what sexual identity and gender identity means. I've always been interested in this and you help me and everyone who watch these videos to not have stereotypes and try to understand the world a bit more and respect it.
+Kia Bia Or just an "I'm non-binary, but I'm not" that touched on gender fluidity and a bunch of other non-binary stuff. Really I just want them to make more non-binary related content. Really I just want the world to contain more non-binary content in general. :p
+Pixii Kenszingteon Thanks for your input, but I think you need to look back on your information since genderfluidity has been around just as long as transgeneder, which dates back all the way to the 1900th Century ;)
I'm biologically female, but mentally I feel genderless. Outwardly, I'll switch between masculine and feminine. When I told my mom I thought I was trans, she fought as hard as she could to prove me wrong. When I told my dad, he told me to stop talking about it so I wouldn't cause drama. When I told my aunt, she basically pulled out the christian schpeal and said I was wrong and actually a girl. When I told my therapist, she said I shouldn't worry about labeling myself and should basically forget about it. I won't tell my friends because one is christian and she already ignores that I'm attracted to all genders and ages. I haven't talked about it since to anyone. My coworker's (now) brother came out as trans, and I'm so jealous because it's gone so easily for him.
+Savannah Robertson Im the worst advicer, but you should just look in google of people like you (You are not the only one in this situations) and read their experiences and find the best way to be yourself. Wish you look!
+Savannah Robertson If it can cheer you up, your coworker's brother might seem to have it easy but he must have had his own struggles as well, just not talking about it or showing it.
+Savannah Robertson It's okay if you can't put a label on your gender identity: it may be that you're agender or non-binary ^ I do however like to say that I'm a Christian but other Christians should not be forcing other people to conform to the 'gender' they've been assigned at birth. Christians are meant to be accepting and supportive but if your aunt isn't then she has no right to call herself a Christian. I suggest you listen to your therapist and maybe ask her what gender identities most likely appear to describe you best and do research on them. Give it some time and you'll find one to identify as and then half the battle will be over, I promise x (I'm a trans guy but I have non-binary characteristics as well)
Good luck with your transition. I'm halfway out the closet with my sexuality (polysexual) and the door is slightly open with my gender (masc-androgyne or trans masculine). Many of my friends know about my sexuality and are completely okay with it. But most of my relatives are very conservative and shut people out of the family because of their sexuality. Many people around me probably think that I've had it easy, but having plenty of dysphoria, anxiety attacks and mom who knows but doesn't believe you are a hard thing to go through. So don't judge them for just a single side of their story - they've probably gone through a lot. I'm sorry that your family and friends were not accepting. But I'm sure that in the future you'll meet people who accept you just the way you are and acknowledge what you've had to go through. Good luck with transitioning :)
Thank you so much. My mom's been having an especially hard time with it lately( I cut my hair so I definitely look more masculine), and I really needed that. I'm just frustrated now because I've been exploring it a bit more, and looking at myself, and seeing that while I want my breasts gone, I don't necessarily need a penis. I'm just so confused right now. I don't feel wrong in my body (the hair was a step in the right direction), but I just don't feel totally right. I don't know what to do.
I think it's absolutely amazing and beautiful we live in a world where people can change their physical appearance to show other people visually who they are inside. And make their body match the way they feel.
TRANS MEN ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. But yeah I haven't seen my chin in two years because I don't want to shave and get called ma'am and I'm three years into my transition.
yeah! I'm ftm myself- though actually I still like "females things"- and I stopped caring when someone comes up to me and tells me I'm not a real "transgender", like they know.
+Ashton Colby ive never seen a man call himself or other men beautiful. "Honey"?? .. you just radiate masculinity dont you lol. I think you need to up your dosage of steroids your female ways are still pretty obvious.
+jax Tee My girlfriend calls me beautiful and I love it everyday. I strive to be a beautiful person inside and out. You should take some lessons, honey.
it's like how normal guys can still be feminine, just because someone is trans does not mean they hate dresses or they don't like makeup, it just means they are uncomfortable with their body. People who are trans have gender dysphoria, you literally have to have it in order to be trans, but a trans guy can still like girly things, just like normal guys can, maybe they feel comfortable being a guy in a dress, while some feel more comfortable being a guy and looking more masculine
Denimso so being a man is all about not wearing dresses and disliking feminine things? it'd make no sense because feminine guys and masculine gals exist. being trans isn't about what you like to wear or do, it's about who you are.
Why is your name Anna? Isn’t that pretty triggering to have everyone see your channel name and be like “oh that’s a girl”? Just a question and I’m 100% supportive of trans people.
I've watched a lot of videos about trans people documenting their lives lately and I've noticed that all these men are so attractive its crazy. it probably is also affected by the fact that now they're happy with themselves and can be who they always wanted. i love it. be yourself and don't let other people judge you. i wanna hug each one of these men.
I hate that i cant do certain things to make me feel better as a trans man. The new stupid law in NC, where i live, makes me feel trapped. I have just got myself out of self-harm, depression, no so much. I say to other trans men, feel proud of yourself, don't let the world bring you down. Keep fighting, its worth it.
when i was younger i looked more feminine than masculine (long-ish hair, but i'd wear jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, etc and not dresses and skirts) but i had more male friends than not, we'd do typical boy stuff like football, rough housing, etc. i was fine with the body i had until i started puberty, then i'd think "this is not okay" when i look at my breasts, and even though i love swimming i'd refuse to wear a swimsuit because it's just not the right kind. a year or so later, when i was almost 13, i googled the feelings i had and i discovered what transgender meant, and it just kind of clicked. now i'm 15 and still in the closet and stuck looking like the typical teenage girl because im too much of a coward to come out :,) im going to do it before school starts though so i can at least finish the rest of high school as the guy i am and not being forced into pretending to be someone else
Gestice good luck coming out, sometimes it can be really stressful but if you surround yourself with the right people you will get a lot of support! I'm planning to come out as genderfluid to my family so I kind of understand how it can make you nervous, but I have friends who came Out and most people have accepted them for being themselves.
TO EVERYONE WONDERING HOW THEY GROW THEIR BEARDS: They are on a hormone called testosterone which can cause a beard to grow, as well as other changes to happen, such as the vocal cords thickening.
+OakInch I've seen three different people wondering, so obviously people are curious. And if they go off the hormone, or don't want it, they're still a man.
+OakInch if that's how you feel that's how you feel but sometimes what other people want isn't something you can understand and it might be different for them
IdentityDis0rder Yeah...I mean we don't even have great options for bottom surgery! A lot of FTMs are stuck without bottom surgery because the options now are...less then perfect.
+Astor Reinhardt And it's the nonpassable crossdressing MTFs at that while FTMs get 'normal' representatives. >.> Can't we get normal people? Caitlyn Jenner is far from normal *shudders*
my best friend is transitioning right now so I've been watching a bunch of these videos trying to understand how "he" has felt all these years and I still can't wrap my head around it.
+Sarah Biesnat You don't need to fully understand, because you aren't going through it. You just have to be there for them. That's all you can really do.
+Sarah Biesnat Hey, at least you're trying your absolute best to understand, and that's really all that anyone can ask for. Speaking from some experience, my friend really didn't know how to accept transgender people, she was never really taught the subject or was extremely aware of it, until I came out to her as trans. But she tries her best to understand and to never mess up on my name and pronouns, and her trying her best is awesome to me. If you do have any questions about being transgender and such, I might be able to help out?
+Sarah Biesnat It takes time. You're being a good friend by not being dismissive and by educating yourself. I'm sure he appreciates that. The best thing you can do is to be there for him, to listen to him, and to learn like you're doing now. He's going to need a lot of support. Best of luck to you both
omg Rocco and Buck are really handsome, i'd love to see more of them! not just with trans related stuff, just them being themselves in other areas of discussion :D
I always was the girl that played the guy in the pretend games. I never liked traditional girl things. I hung out with the boys and got along swimmingly. I discovered I liked girls in a romantic sense. I never felt like a girl, but I always just thought I must just be butch. With my parents, I wasn't given a choice or even educated of other options. Everything changed when a gay guy moved into my high school and openly started educating about LGBTQ+. I immediately knew what I was - transgender FtM. It had fit all along and I never knew it. I made some serious life changes starting then and that began with distancing myself from my transphobic etc. parents and making myself into a more physical image of the man I knew I was inside. I now live almost entirely on my own and will start school next year to be an EMT. I've never been happier.
+Blurry hey, its ok. there are always going to be people like that. i dont know what situation you are in right now, but it is so important to know who you are and to be proud of it. People can only admire that. I sure do. Dont be afraid of rejection. What does their opinion mean at the end of the day? Don't let others ruin your life. Live yours the way you think it should be. You do have the strength to do that, you just dont know it yet. Fear probably gets in the way but why not take a chance? Even if it is only a small step, it would make you feel more confident to take the next one :) Good luck!
When I was 8 to 11 and me and my friends (who were all girls at the time) when he played games I always 100percent played a male. Also when I was eleven and I memorised what a boyfriend should say when they are asked the question, why do you like your girlfriend. I was just like to myself, so I need to remember this. Then I just kind of realised. Oh wait. Wrong thing, when I knew it was the right thing. I always imagined myself as a man when I grew up even though at the time I had no clue what trans was. I guess I never questioned it. Then puberty happened. Breasts and thighs and curves happened. And it all went downhill from there. My feelings just getting stronger by the day.
This helped me make my choice. I'm becoming a male. Since I was 7, I thought things 7 year olds shouldn't think. I thought like 'Am I gay? I want to be a boy. When I grow up, and this depression doesn't go, I will kill myself.' That last one is real. All of them are. When I was 7, I thought that if I grow up, turn into a man and I don't like it, then suicide is my only option. That's the exact thing I said to myself. Because I had anxiety from around the age because I was nearly at the end of year 2 and that gradually moved to depression and I still have it badly. I am actually making a coming out video right now, to come out as gay.
Those videos always makes me feel better about myself ! I always thought I wasn't normal, just a sick weirdo, that something was wrong in my head and needed to be cured ... ! There was hard social pressure and people constantly asking me if I'm a boy or a girl, gay or lesbian ... Turns out that I'm just non-binary. It hurts less to see MANY people experiencing the exact same things in their lifes !
+Blaine Lynn Im 18 y/o and trans, on my way. Outed myself around your age. I wish you so much luck on your way, whenever you'll find the courage to begin the real journey.
+Noah Gabriel I already think it is so courageous to say on the internet. Especially considering there are so many closed minds out here... I wish you both all the strength you need. There's no better feeling than to be true to yourself and be confident. Much love
A man does what he feel is right for him not caring what others think of him. Theas guys does exactly that, there is nothing more masculine then having the confidence to pursue the future you envisioned for your self. As a trans woman i always imagind that the other way around would be so easy (beeing a trans man that is). Seeing this have taught me that the strugles are exactly the same. I didn't realice it befor but in a way it is the same strugles as everyone go through in there adulessons figuring out who they are. It's difficult at best to figure this out with all the input you get through out your life and the more your vision strays from the conformd state the harder it is to stay true to that vision.
YOU ALL look like perfect human beings, we all were put here for a reason, no one should be ridiculed or belittled, we were all placed here for a reason, that we often times what it is, especially when depression sets in, however thats what true friends were made for, to help, I myself am in no way in the Medical field, but, I always try to be the first in line to be of help to someone in need of help, some times its just lending an ear for some one to vent their feelings.
Thanks Buzzfeed, every so often you make the world a better place. Which balances out all your videos that do the opposite, but either way i'm entertained. So.. thank you.
I am gender fluid, but I identify as a male more often then as a female, so seeing people overcoming the pressures of society is amazing. I am currently working up the courage to come out to my parents not only as gender fluid but as bisexual as well.
***** gender fluid isn't really a label to me, it's just who I am. I can be a male or female, it depends on the day, I'm not trying to feel"more" special im not special at all
my gosh ain't even gonna bother looking it up on what it means. weirdos these days. back in the 80s life was so much simpler and we didn't have these attention seeking individuals inventing some sexuality.
This was very eye opening I had only see transgenders that were men who became women and seeing it from a different perspective made me more open minded
I'm a trans guy that hasn't come out to anybody but my mom, but I still like feminine things. I almost wish I was a cis boy just so that I could wear a skirt, and be called gay instead of fake.
If I didn't know who these guys were and saw one of them on the street I'd never know they're trans.
I'd think they were gay
same
Likewise. I'd be all "sup bro?"
i wanna see what they looked like before

I didn't start questioning until about a year ago (I'm 18 now) but I think it was cause I had a lot of internalized transphobia since I was raised by homophobic baptists
You guys should have some pre-T/pre-op trans guys on here because it would be so much easier for me to see more people who look like the current me.
yesss that would be so cool!!
Also Trans people that aren't/don't plan on physically transitioning
Yes please
I decided to make my own UA-cam channel fore representation because of this :p
seeing trans men with facial hair is so inspiring though :0
I was never very girly growing up, but I never had much of a problem identifying as a girl until I was a teen.

It's nice to hear my fellow trans-brothers speaking out in pride.
Hey cis people! Saying "oh my god I would've never known they were a girl before!!!!!1!!" IS NOT A COMPLIMENT
+Tyler Smith because they weren't. they have always been boys. their body was just presenting something else.
Why is it wrong?
+4kkjwkaz you're invalidating their trains identity. They were always a man, and the idea that one must "look like a man" to be a man means that trans men that still look rather feminine aren't truly men
+Tyler Smith ahhhhhhhh ok
Shout out to feminine trans boys
ty Benny we ly
I'm Genderfluid. People think it's not a thing but I know how I feel.
I would always wear dresses and play with barbies and it's like now I'm not a female and I am soooo scared to come out. I'm 95% positive that no one will let me transition.
Your Mom you never know.
Your Mom I'm also very scared to come out
youll never know until you actually do it. dont make a situation bad in your head before it happens, it will certainly turn out that way. and if it really is a bad situation, people who dont accept you are not people you want in your life. Ik that since Im a cis female, this probably doesnt help, but hey, I tried.
honestly, when I look at trans people, I see a regular human being, if it's a trans guy, I see a guy, if it's a trans girl, I see a girl, like they don't need labels, they are who they feel and people need to just learn to respect that
I agree. Too bad there will always be people who are too stubborn to accept them.
Viosin EXACTLY!!
These videos are so helpful. I don't get to talk to many other trans people about trans issues and this helps.
Some of these comments are disgusting....
When I watch these buzzfeed videos that talk about transgender people and other stuff, I feel less alone...
It keeps me motivated to keep fighting.
Thank you, buzzfeed.
"Ken" seems like a super fun guy! He's cute, too (altough he kinda has a 90's teen drama vibe going on😂)
Cali Lovett He's profession is that actually is an actor on a popular daytime soap opera.
I'm so happy that the transition allowed them to be themselves, we all deserve to just be ourselves in this world... :)
You should make a video about feminine transgender men and masculine transgender females.
These people are very nice. Respect them.
I am so glad you are happy as you are now. :)
No you're still a girl
Boomstick Wilson If you think that, then you're uneducated.
+Heather The Kitty You are whatever gender you are born in, you can't change your DNA
+Boomstick Wilson You can make some physical changes by surgery and hormones, by the way.
Thank you buzzfeed. All these stories those words. They help me to understand what sexual identity and gender identity means. I've always been interested in this and you help me and everyone who watch these videos to not have stereotypes and try to understand the world a bit more and respect it.
if you're looking for more information about these subjects Ash Hardell did a couple of videos in their ABCs of LGBT series all about gender!
Eilidh Johnson I know this is a month late but I didn't know you liked her too
I love the line, "forget gender; how do you be you."
Thank you for sharing your experiences as trans men.
I was really worried about the guy with the black eye, but then he said he was a boxer! Thank god he probably got it from boxing
+PrinceSarah1 I wondered the same thing.
+PrinceSarah1 same!!!!!!
This video made me feel so much better. Thank you so much BuzzFeed.
The last thing he said made me cry.
+Quinn Pascal Aww :c
When is BuzzFeed going to do a "I'm Genderfluid, But I'm Not..." video cause it is deeply needed...
+Kia Bia I would pay to see it
+Jessica White Same
+Kia Bia Or just an "I'm non-binary, but I'm not" that touched on gender fluidity and a bunch of other non-binary stuff. Really I just want them to make more non-binary related content. Really I just want the world to contain more non-binary content in general. :p
Oh, thank you! And yes, that would be well appreciated
+Pixii Kenszingteon
Thanks for your input, but I think you need to look back on your information since genderfluidity has been around just as long as transgeneder, which dates back all the way to the 1900th Century ;)
+Savannah Robertson
It's okay if you can't put a label on your gender identity: it may be that you're agender or non-binary ^
I do however like to say that I'm a Christian but other Christians should not be forcing other people to conform to the 'gender' they've been assigned at birth. Christians are meant to be accepting and supportive but if your aunt isn't then she has no right to call herself a Christian.
I suggest you listen to your therapist and maybe ask her what gender identities most likely appear to describe you best and do research on them. Give it some time and you'll find one to identify as and then half the battle will be over, I promise x
(I'm a trans guy but I have non-binary characteristics as well)
Good luck with your transition.
This is a sweet video. To all the trans peeps out there, you are real and you are valid.
But what if they're cyborgs? 😯
Thank you. C:
millenniumdragn Well then they're just plain bad asses.
Whoa! I wonder what happened to that guys eye!?
+Duckymomo424 He said he got into boxing. So, you could assume he got it from boxing.
Praying it wasn't a hate crime
***** he's actually a boxer. Doubt you could even touch him if you fought him. :)
I was wondering that too o.o
He's a boxer
TRANS MEN ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. But yeah I haven't seen my chin in two years because I don't want to shave and get called ma'am and I'm three years into my transition.
yeah! I'm ftm myself- though actually I still like "females things"- and I stopped caring when someone comes up to me and tells me I'm not a real "transgender", like they know.
well beautiful is what you would call an attractive female so i guess you might be right.. in some cases.
+jax Tee Beautiful is what you call anything and everything that radiates beauty. Ignorance isn't beautiful, honey.
As a trans guy these videos give me so much hope. Thank you buzzfeed.
I love this video so much.
I really needed that guy at the end saying 'just forget gender, do what you need to do to be yourself.'
I'm a trans guy but sometimes i dress or feel more feminine or masculine. That doesn't make me any less of a guy.
Does it?
Wait. Rocco just answered that. Nevermind. Y'all are really cool by the way!
it's like how normal guys can still be feminine, just because someone is trans does not mean they hate dresses or they don't like makeup, it just means they are uncomfortable with their body.
Anna Hunjan it does not
I can't even imagine any of them as a female.
that's because none of them are female.
Mcr
because they're not
+fiorella michelis How is not being a female change what you can imagine?
Bc they are male
Great set of videos for National Coming Out Day~ Keep it up, Buzzfeed!!
It's incredible, you can't even tell they were girls before. You guys are great, i love your confidence. :)
You would never tell that they were born physically female.
They look great!!! :D
Rocco inspires me every time I see him in a video.
"forget gender and learn how to be you." the most powerful statement I have ever heard.
Am I the only one who finds rocco so attractive?
grüne Tinte, no ur not people with bad taste are so common
I'm a trans man, and ugh. I'm so glad y'all make videos. Thank you, so so much. Thank you for making videos about being transgender.
when i was younger i looked more feminine than masculine (long-ish hair, but i'd wear jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, etc and not dresses and skirts) but i had more male friends than not, we'd do typical boy stuff like football, rough housing, etc. i was fine with the body i had until i started puberty, then i'd think "this is not okay" when i look at my breasts, and even though i love swimming i'd refuse to wear a swimsuit because it's just not the right kind. a year or so later, when i was almost 13, i googled the feelings i had and i discovered what transgender meant, and it just kind of clicked. now i'm 15 and still in the closet and stuck looking like the typical teenage girl because im too much of a coward to come out :,) im going to do it before school starts though so i can at least finish the rest of high school as the guy i am and not being forced into pretending to be someone else
hey man, if you don't mind me asking, but uhhh did you come out?
Nah, I'm planning to this August/late July tho
You're so brave for doing that. I'm a 13 year old trans male and I can't tell anybody out of fear that they will disown me
Gestice legit me, but I came out and transitioned when I was 10 and 11.
Gestice good luck coming out, sometimes it can be really stressful but if you surround yourself with the right people you will get a lot of support! I'm planning to come out as genderfluid to my family so I kind of understand how it can make you nervous, but I have friends who came Out and most people have accepted them for being themselves.
As a trans man who is under 18, to all my other young trans men out there. This video gives me a lot of confidence and I hope you get that as well
+Daniel Drowning
Thanks dude ^
"I was always keen" me too man, I loved being ken
TO EVERYONE WONDERING HOW THEY GROW THEIR BEARDS:
They are on a hormone called testosterone which can cause a beard to grow, as well as other changes to happen, such as the vocal cords thickening.
+OakInch I've seen three different people wondering, so obviously people are curious. And if they go off the hormone, or don't want it, they're still a man.
Thank you. I was curious about it. I knew testosterone was involved, but I wondered if taking additional things were needed.
Jennifer Moore Sure, no problem.
+OakInch if that's how you feel that's how you feel but sometimes what other people want isn't something you can understand and it might be different for them
coming out today
If only I cared!
I hope it went well :)
Sam Johnson You obviously do if you wrote that comment. :-)
Also, congrats Angel!
the bald guy and rocko (idk if that's his name sorry) are more masculine than most of cis guys
party poison, stop going to japan
polarizing!. They are women
Finally some FTMs representing! There's not enough of us out there getting shown off or talked to, it's always MTF getting the spot light! :(
+Astor Reinhardt this is so true. everyone thinks its because MTFs have it harder which is so insulting to FTMs. :/
IdentityDis0rder
Yeah...I mean we don't even have great options for bottom surgery!
Shallow Youth Your name matches your comment well.
I would like to see the trans story of Rocco
my best friend is transitioning right now so I've been watching a bunch of these videos trying to understand how "he" has felt all these years and I still can't wrap my head around it.
+Sarah Biesnat You don't need to fully understand, because you aren't going through it. You just have to be there for them. That's all you can really do.
+Sarah Biesnat
Hey, at least you're trying your absolute best to understand, and that's really all that anyone can ask for.
Best of luck to you both
So inspirational, I wish these guys the best! Everyone should be able to be themselves.
I've seen Rocco in a couple videos, and i think he is SO ATTRACTIVE!
omg Rocco and Buck are really handsome, i'd love to see more of them! not just with trans related stuff, just them being themselves in other areas of discussion :D
The majority of the disapproving comments are from the same two people... huh.
Weird
I've never been happier.
okay...I really love Rocco !
this video made me feel so safe and happy and reminded me that it gets better!!! until i read the comments section :(
+Blurry hey, its ok. there are always going to be people like that. i dont know what situation you are in right now, but it is so important to know who you are and to be proud of it. Even if it is only a small step, it would make you feel more confident to take the next one :) Good luck!
thank you so much!!
*****
obviously! im so glad you agree.
The bald guy kinda looks like Hugh Jackman to me.
+Marisa Braden yeah i see it too, it's kinda the facial hair/lips/jawline and the ears!
I'm gonna need more videos with Rocco in them because I'm kind of in love with him.
+Kk Vett lol I completely agree
Those videos always makes me feel better about myself !
I always thought I wasn't normal, just a sick weirdo, that something was wrong in my head and needed to be cured ... ! There was hard social pressure and people constantly asking me if I'm a boy or a girl, gay or lesbian ...
Turns out that I'm just non-binary. It hurts less to see MANY people experiencing the exact same things in their lifes !
Ome of my closest friends came out as trans recently and these videos really help me understanding what he's going through.
LMFAO. I died when he said Buck Angel. All I could think about were those 9GAG comments.
LMAO, my initial thought.
I watched this video and they inspired me to just be who I am and I learned some new things to.
"forget gender, how do you be you?" - perfection right there and the word gender can be changed for many other words, too :D
as a 14 y/o transgender who's scared to come out and scared of transitioning this is so helpful
Much love
This comment makes me happy
good stuff buzzfeed. keep these awesome videos coming!
They need to make buzzfeed rainbow... To put all this stuff
Yeah, put us into ANOTHER box why don't ya?
I'm glad this video exists
A man does what he feel is right for him not caring what others think of
him. Theas guys does exactly that, there is nothing more masculine then
having the confidence to pursue the future you envisioned for your self.
Best of luck :)
***** gender fluid isn't really a label to me, it's just who I am. I can be a male or female, it depends on the day, I'm not trying to feel"more" special im not special at all
+Fairy GodSister
but you are....though..
Kyler Vass I am what?
my gosh ain't even gonna bother looking it up on what it means. weirdos these days. back in the 80s life was so much simpler and we didn't have these attention seeking individuals inventing some sexuality.
I love Rocco.
why does UA-cam not have a super like button because this was fantastic!!
Gosh, this made me really happy! It's hard to be 11 and a trans male, but this really gave me some more confidence!
+hte fucign yeah I'm 15 and identify as a trans male so I relate with you how hard it can be but don't worry your not alone
+Liana Kohler (greenland) Err... so a trans male, does that mean you are a man who became a woman or a woman who became a man?
***** a woman who becomes a man
Liana Kohler Thanks
***** no problem
This was very eye opening I had only see transgenders that were men who became women and seeing it from a different perspective made me more open minded
I'm surprised no one noticed that black eye or commented about it
+Donnie Carter I noticed that too.
+Donnie Carter He said he does boxing
+Kiana Wright oh Yeahh I didn't even think of that I was praying no one targeted him and hit him honestly
I'm a trans guy that hasn't come out to anybody but my mom, but I still like feminine things. I almost wish I was a cis boy just so that I could wear a skirt, and be called gay instead of fake.
same
same omfg
SAME
Same
I have a friend who told me he's a demiboy. He likes some girly things, but presents as somewhat male.
ROCCO IS HOT
JUST PUTTING THAT OUT THERE
Exceltiaawesome

Exceltiaawesome, i don't find her attractive but if you do good for u
I guess you could say Rocko lives a pretty modern life.
