In tribal stage, if you leave a tribe with only its chieftain and steal all of its food, then they are effectively neutralized forever. Their chieftain will never leave the village to forage for food, and without food they cannot replenish their numbers. But the chieftain needs to survive; if they die the game will give the tribe two free adults as an emergency measure, which will then go and gather food once you leave. Throwing spears are by far the best weapons because you can easily kite enemies and focus-fire them. Tribe members tend to bug out and not do anything in giant fights with stone axes, and flaming torches are not even worth mentioning.

I have been binging all of your content as of late, im so glad i stumbled upon it! so good to see the spore love is alive and well, please keep it up, I can't wait to see what you do next!
Ive always liked the first 2 stages the most and tribal maybe the least, I really like fighting in it though but I think a big factor for why its maybe not liked as much is just how tight and slow it is, you befriend all the tribes ahead of time, dupe babies, plan out what your going to do.. and still takes forever granted the slow movement speed and lack of armor buffs. Its just like you always have to have food stolen or deal with the ai as you said or how fast the tribes regen tribe members, just such a big change in gameplay and so slow. Still enjoyable but ya. Loved the video!
I wonder if by tinkering with the game you can start with an pitiful worm having only a proboscis, so you can make an omnivore version of this challenge.
i have had a glitch where a playable planet spawned outside of any galaxy arms and decided to play on it. i got trough every stage an i thought i was softlocked in space stage when it asked me to visit alien planets, but then the unthinkable happened, the game generated new stars around me for me to go back in to the galaxy's arm. I haven't seen the game generate more stars in the galaxy, they should all be in the same spots for everyone's game. Do you still have access to this saved game? I'd really like to take a look at it! :D
You can give gifts to members of other tribes directly, even if they're currently on their way to raid you. They'll accept the gift as long as they're not currently in combat, making this a really easy way to stop/intercept a raid.
I made a creature similar to this it has the butterfly mouth, is the plain white color, and as small as possible. I called it cell. Also love the video, I never thought about playing spore this way.
speaking of 10.8 billion years: did you ever do a video or mention in a video how spore calculates how many years it took for an evolution/stage? if there's a science to it, then what about a *minimum years* run? that would be pretty cool!
Until a few hours ago I thought this was the real worst challenge. However after I made a tiny-sized creature (thank you for the trick btw), I discovered that was extreme pain for Galactic Adventures... so using the worm but tiny-sized is actually worse.

I think that you can successfully impress an enemy team with 9 or 12 members with the worm, you just need to guide an epic over to their base to kill a few or kill a few of them and then do the song when you have the numbers advantage
I dont know if this is faster but then you get the "Impress/Hunt *creature here*" you can drop the bar down and click on the picture to jump straight to the creature info, I find this easier as I suck at navigating the Sporepedia Also I found a glitch while jumping (with creatures that can), you can grab fruit from afar, takes some practice but I got the hang of it, works best as a herbivore, havent tested as a carnivore with meat
