Wow... I swear every other time I've seen one of these spore challenges, the run is basically over by the tribal stage, since it doesn't usually matter what your creature is like. Somehow, you actually managed to carry the difficulty into even the city stage. How does one even do that?
Most people also claim to "beat" Spore as some creature or other... Yet they all stop at either Civilisation or Space stage. That is NOT "beating" Spore.

Those flashing lights and colours you mentioned OBS producing when you approached other creatures is the creatures' procedural textures rendering! No idea why it renders directly on the screen with OBS but it's been a known issue for a while now lol. Great video!

Two things that can really help with tribal stage: firstly, if you send a gift-bearer to a tribe in the process of raiding you, they won't attack unless you do first. This works even if your creatures have literally zero speed. Secondly, while aggressive tribes made neutral will eventually grow hostile again, befriending them to the blue face will prevent further aggression without being provoked directly.
