The IONIQ 6 and the IONIQ 5 share a lot of elements. They're both built on the Hyundai E-GMP platform and offer a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with an 800V architecture, allowing for ultra fast battery charging times. Charging 10% to 80% only takes 18 minutes with the right DC quick charger.
The IONIQ 6 can be orderede as a rear motor (77.4 kWh RWD 225hp, 258 lb-ft) or as a dual motor all-wheel drive version (77.4 kWh AWD 320hp, 446 lb-ft). A smaller 53 kWh battery pack is also available with rear wheel drive, if you don't need the range & the power.
Just like the Ioniq 5, the 6 offers 'vehicle to load' functionality, which means that - with a 220V accessory power outlet - you can use your IONIQ 6 to charge an e-bike or power a compressor to inflate its tires.
Inside, we find the dual 12.3” screen setup like in the Ioniq 5 and 2 optional monitors on the sides if you go for the rear view cameras instead of classic mirrors.
The interior is very spacious with a big center console and flat floor in the back. Legroom in the back is huge, headroom is ok, but I bumped my head getting in the car.
There's a tiny frunk and an ok trunk. But the Ioniq 5 offers a lot more luggage space.

When I saw it in white on pictures, it didn't really appeal to me but un black It looks stunning.
it does! 👌
For mee too idk why but its so strange to see in video
Green, Digital Green. Most colors are very dark. Close to blackish, really.
Nice car but also great edit! The music in the back playing without cuts while you cut the video into little parts is a fantastic job :)
Thanks! Glad someone actually noticed 👌😄🎶
well not a pov drive but that is enough for me nice video man
Thanks, hope to be driving it soon! ✌️😄
the rear looks like Porsche
I really thought the same. It looks like an old 911
@@CarEnergy exactly thank you
Also reminds me of old Saabs
Infinity j30 crossed with a Pontiac sunfire
Hope.... those rear view cams are retractable. They appear quite exposed to accidents . Meaning a very expensive replacement repair ??
I have no idea, but I guess they’re fixed. Good question, hope I find out some day! 👌
Is this also the version which will get simulated gears with shifter ?
I didn’t even know that was a thing, nice! But I have nog idea :).
@@johnnypovdrives jp Performance had the N22 version of it as a test with 585hp and simulated gears with shifters behind the steering wheels. It also has a ice like engine sound.
Noice
The camera never lies? Ha,ha.
I don’t care Hyundai give me my Ghost in a Shell/Bladerunner/Cyberpunk mobile. Let me pretend I’m cool 😢
But you could be cool! 😄
That back end looks like a infinity crossed with a sunbird. Very ugly
I’ve heard several possible crossings, this one was new 👌😄
I am poor man I hate my life
