Usindiso building fire: Call for heads to roll

The commission of inquiry into the Usindiso building fire found that the City of Johannesburg and the Johannesburg Property Company are partly responsible. Johannesburg Property Owners and Managers Association's Angela Rivers says JPC should definitely be held accountable.

I think our people also need to take responsibility for they lives and they doings. They are adults, and the minute they saw the conditions of those buildings, they continued to stay there. We are not dealing with children here. We are dealing with adults who are making decisions & actions. You can never blame others for the choices you made. There's many more of these buildings in CBD, but yet they continue to stay there. I will understand if it was the homeless people who made those choices but are people who wanted a cheaper life. That's why some white people call us black people uncivilized people. Let's take responsibility for our actions.
