Toothpick fixes Ninja Blender

  • If you see a red Blinking light instead of Solid red, it is possible, like me, you put the handle on wrong and broke the safety mechanism.
    This video could help. It is sort of a bypass to that. I'm still using the blender with the toothpick in it almost a year later by the way. Best of luck to you and happy blending (if this works that is...)! 😁
    DISCLAIMER!! :
    Not realizing this when I created the video, I need to mention:
    When we put something in the way of the button we are BYPASSING the SECURITY feature in this blender and DANGEROUSly enough that means THE BLENDER CAN NOW BE TURNED ON WITHOUT THE LID ON, which could lead to the blades coming out of the blender which really scares me to think about. So pleeeaaase be safe with this fix! and remember to put the lid on all the way before using! And turn the blender Off before sticking any spoons or fingers in to stir or taste 😱 please!

    I bought a Ninja blender from Facebook marketplace and put the blender in the exact same direction that you broke the blender jar, but luckily the blender jar didn’t break. But something worse happened - I had accused the person who sold the blender of cheating me, only to realize it was my mistake after seeing this video and I apologized like ten times to the person and asked for forgiveness. This video made the blender fine, but also made me realize my social prejudice and made me feel really shameful. Thanks so much for the video and walking us through the steps in a practical fashion.

    THANK YOU! ❤️
    Our blender was a wedding gift and I used it less than 5 times before my husband got a hold of it and it stopped working. I tried everything to fix it, it sat in our closet for 3 years before I tried again... And the heavens opened up and sent me this video 😂 I fixed it, and finally have a working blender again!!

      Also, you may already know this, but I have been worried that this fix could lead to someone accidently turning on the blender while the lid is off (kids/teens/us accidently) and just wanted to warn that without the lid on the blades may come loose which sounds really scary in my head and could injure someone so I needed to warn everyone. I'll write the company and see what they say. Be safe and Happy blending! 😁

    Thanks, couldn't find this mentioned anywhere else. I couldn't get the toothpick to work and didn't want to buy another blender jar so we just ended up superglueing one of the lock notches down so it doesn't have that safety function anymore but we're a household of adults so I don't think it will be a problem.

    Video was mad helpful. I ended up jimmying a piece into the blender part itself because I couldn’t figure out how to make it work by sticking something in the top piece. A piece came loose inside the handle so I cut it in half and used that lol. You can also try to cut an ink cartridge in half if you don’t have picks.

      This is great advise!! Also, I may be worrying too much but please do not turn the blender on without the lid attached (this goes for anyone reading this later too!!). I am sure someone is going to do it, but please don't!!! It would be extremely dangerous, because the blade system in this blender is detachable and could come out if not secured down by the lid.

      @@i1Schmidty hey i have a question. So when you put the piece of toothpick in, what happens when the mechanism shifts up and down inside the arm while it’s inserted? Would it slowly push it out or get stuck? I’m assuming this would happen since the square piece that is missing the plastic peg has to move up and down while the lid is opened /closed. Do you just put the toothpick in every time once you close lid? Sorry for long questions and thanks again for this awesome video.

    • @i1Schmidty
      @i1Schmidty  3 роки тому

      @@starsky8280 Yeah, with this method it needs replacing every so often. Some, myself included, have fixed it in the base stand and it stays much better there! Just be careful because now the machine's safety mechanism is being bypassed and it can start without the lid on (or without the container on if we stuck it in the little button on the base!) Let me know if that made sense or if we need to elavorate. (:
