    So my nutra ninja just has a "- -" and doesn't do anything... the light turns off after a while and when I push the button the double dashes come back on, yet nothing happens....

    Immediate result.. I could not lock my Ninja in place after 8 months... video showed that the handle has to be to the front. Did this and it worked! Thankyou CM, Victoria, AUSTRALIA

    What I have not seen on ANY of these ninja videos is THE FOUR TABS ON THE CUPS WEAR OUT REAL, REAL FAST! Once the tabs are worn, the ninja will no longer work unless you hold the top of the cup in a tight clockwise direction or it will either fail to start or stop after a few moments. A set of cups is around $30.00 and to replace them ever few months is expensive. Also this dizzy dame is less than helpful, you get more info from reading the directions or asking your kid!

      I have same problem. The tabs on the base are clearly worn down. They in turn wear down the cup tabs. The tabs on the base appear to be removable and replaceable. Does anyone know if Ninja sells replacement ones? Thank you.

    Seriously !!?? I just bought the nutri ninja today and it will not turn on no matter what. Are you seriously blaming your faulty product on people not plugging it in.

      +Nutri Ninja I purchased the nutri ninja bl 480 today and it absolutely will not turn on. I don't know what the issue is. I looked through the manual and still no luck. My mom is beyond furious right now.

      I used ice in my blender and there was liquid in as well and now it won't work. I though lt it was supposed to be able to blend ice. The numbers work but the blender doesn't and I'm past my 1 year warranty since you all don't allow the 2 year warranty if not bought from you.

    Worked for me! The “pouring” part of the blender should be lined up with the lid.

    Fixed mine after a quick inspection of the lock in area. Mine would click, but the light would still blink and it wouldn't turn on. All I had to do was clean out all of the gunk that had built up from spillage that was keeping it from locking in the whole way.

      Same here, mine broke down because I left it plugged in, might have overheated even tho I’m not using it. But this video is just telling us how not to be stupid. 😂

    Mine recently started shutting off halfway through the smoothie cycle. No idea why, unless it's overloaded, or vibrated out of position. It's never been an issue until the last week or so. Usually it goes 55 seconds, now 25 and it completes.

    Thank you Ninja Service person! I was about to throw my unit in the trash and buy a new one when I thought I should contact service department and see if there was something more to do that I hadn't already done. Well there was, he had me put it back together and make sure it was lined up correctly. I felt at the time I had it right but apparently I did not. NOW it works! Saved me from throwing it away! Thanks.

    i have had 6 of these, and every last one of them fails within a month or two except the one i got today, which didn't work out of the box. every time i had insurance so i got it replaced, no problem. My question is, why is this company selling a faulty device like this?????

    hi, I have a ninja foodie 3 in 1 BN800EU.
    I was doing a banana smoothie and the glass got stocked, not sure what I can do to remove it.

    the lock in the handle of big container is causing a problem with the blinking power button. There is a mechanism in the handle of the big container..there is a metal pin that pushes down into the plastic handle..then this pushes another plastic button down in the handle...this is causing my problem. Everything is locked down & I'm still getting the red blinking power button.

      @@EPNutriNinja I am having this issue. Unlike some customers here, cleaning did not help. Everything is locked/clicked in place as indicated. It is thoroughly clean and still I'm getting the blinking red power light.

    This blender does not work and has not worked since purchased, the power is on, the time is 0. If I push the pulse button nothing happens, the extract, smoothie and auto IQ boost light is also on, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

    I've had my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ for years. All of a sudden the "BLEND" and "ULTRA BLEND" functions aren't working, I get "Err" when I press these buttons. Why is this happening? All other buttons work fine.

    I have the BL493 model and it will not start either. I plug it in and all the lights come on but when I press the button to start it nothing happens. I have unplugged it and waited as the manual says to do but have the same results.

      This is a piece of junk. I have attempted everything and the timer goes on and will down to 0 but it does not blend, puree or do anything. I will contact NINJA CS and see what they have to say, my guess is nothing. I think my alternative will be to put it in the garbage where it belongs. Most disappointing.

    the machine wont start. The power button just flashes red and will not start the blend or even turn to blue irrespective of what we do.

    I just got the ninja pro with auto IQ and it's registering the pitcher as the food processor and doesn't even register the blending cup. Everything's assembled and locked in. Was like this out of the box.

    Your machine is garbage. Because of a safety feature it wont even turn undue to the blinking light. The motor and blender are connected. Thank god I got this as a gift and didnt waste any money on it.

    This is not a good brand. Poor manufacturing and quality control processes. These systems are very faulty. Mine stopped working during the 2nd time I used it.
