Hey thanks! Put the handle in the back and the lid wouldn't lock in. Finally found your video. Thankfully the plastic piece wasn't broken and I just had to turn it around to get it to work. Thanks again!

Great video. While not exactly the same issue I was able to follow the safety mechanism to determine my wife had the lid on wrong!!!

Just came in here to say that I had the same problem but I just didn’t have my lid all the way down so it didn’t push the button down but this video helped me figure it out anyways

if you can find the piece of the part that broke off super glueing it back on is also effective

Thanks, couldn't find this mentioned anywhere else. I couldn't get the toothpick to work and didn't want to buy another blender jar so we just ended up superglueing one of the lock notches down so it doesn't have that safety function anymore but we're a household of adults so I don't think it will be a problem.

Same exact thing just happened to me! Thank you so much for this video. I got the blender as a gift and it didn't have the instruction manual so I just put it on the first way that felt natural. It's so stupid that it breaks when you do that. It took me like 10 minutes of struggling to be able to pry the thing off again and put it on the right way

All the turning things are wearing down on mine i cant even yse the extraction cups anymore i had to throw away an entire batch of Habaneros it wont turn when you add the food i noticed that thing in the center is no longer the same. The Processor blade gave out after 3 month's its just a hunk of garbage
