Hi Kris, O my goodness, you are so funny!! I am so glad you went back and nabbed those curtains!! Such beautiful things you found at that sale. Love the lamp and those blue plates are sooooo pretty! Thanks for keeping us laughing as we learn a few things, and get to see some great items!! Have a great day. Deb
OMG, I know Frank too! I use to dance with him down West Haven Beach when they use to have the music down there! He was tall with a long ponytail, what a nice guy! I love your videos and I love antiques! My home is more on the primitive, Colonial side. I just love old things! I also shop at all our local thrift stores, but mostly for wooden dough bowls or crocks or anything primitive looking. I live in North Haven, so you know that we really don’t have many antique stores around unless I just don’t know about them. I am looking forward to your next video!❤
That's such a great story! I remember the music at West Haven beach. And I always loved watching people place bocci in the outdoor court. Frank was definitely a character (and a very talented designer aside from my pink bedroom). Thanks for sharing your memories with me! Primitives are absolutely charming - I bet you have a lovely home!
Another beautiful video. I loved the Art Nouveau lamp! It is so feminine and exudes joyful happiness. The draperies, tablecloths and pillows are so beautiful and will look so lovely in your home. As soon as I saw the beautiful burgundy tassels I thought how beautiful they would be somewhere in your dining room so I love what you did with them. All of your finds were beautiful. It was great to see Indy.
I love the way you described the lamp - perfectly stated! I'm glad you enjoyed the haul. It was so much fun to find so many pretty things. Indy liked them too! 😸😸
Dear girl ... what fabulous finds! The Art Nouveau lamp is stunning, as well as the two needlepoint pillows ... I am so jealous! By the way, the wicker doll furniture made in Hong Kong ... Hong Kong was a British colony until 1997, so I would consider the set as vintage. And, so glad you went back for the curtain panels ... as fabric, they are superb! Indie is a dolly!
Oh my!!! What an incredible haul and fun treasure hunt!!! Searching in fireplaces and such!! Memory unlocked....I had that wicker doll furniture set.....I completely forgot about it! Sadly, it's long gone. Thank you for another awesome video and I am now in the mirror working on my "how about 15.00" face!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I love that you used to have that wicker set! It was so cute. I definitely recommend that you DON'T practice my negotiating face - nobody wants to see THAT face! 🤣🤣
Beautiful tablescape with the brass urn. I would have also gone back to the sale otherwise it would have plagued you! It was worth it as you found more treasures. Love seeing your beautiful cat. Thanks for taking us along! Take care.
I'm glad you liked the urn! There's nothing worse than regretting what you didn't buy at an estate sale - it was worth the extra time and gas for sure!
Best haul ever! I totally would have gone back for those amazing drapes too! I'm so sad that I wasn't able to get there myself 😥 but I'm glad you did, twice! 😂
So happy you got the other panels, it was meant to be! Beautiful haul. I have the exact same tapper candle holders under your carnival glass pitcher, never thought to use them for fall but I deff will next year. Love your Delft jug, really starting to love your Delft display, too - great collection. Indy was being such a cutie for the camera.😊
I'm so glad you liked me haul! Oh my gosh - definitely bring out the taper candles! You're lucky to have them. Indy does seem to enjoy his moments on camera! 😸😸
Good Morning! WOW, what a fabulous estate sale. You definitely struck gold! I LOVE everything you found, but I have to admit; destructo kitty is my fav!
I just had to add that I love the art noveaux lamp, I am crazy for that period pieces. You got a real deal on the tableclothes, and those draperies are beautiful! I was really glad you went back and the panels were still there. And how about the fact the same decorator was responsible for them. I just loved seeing yoy so excited, and I am tickled for you.
Thank you so much! The lamp is really beautiful - it was one of the first things I picked up (and then never put down again). It was a really fun estate sale!
The pillows are called “ yo-yo’s.” The sofa is a chaise lounge or a fainting couch. Ladies would have reclined on such a couch. Baldwin brass is the best! Some seem to be excited by Indian brass, but Baldwin brass is superior, in my humble opinion. What a haul!
I'm so glad to hear that you love my videos! They usually leave tablecloths alone. However, anything placed on top of the tablecloth is probably a goner.
Hi Kris, I sent you a message on IG but they changed their format and I could not complete… My father’s first name was George and he never had a storefront. The other possibility is I had a close friend in Portland, CT- Emmi that had Arabian horses as I did. Thanks for your time regarding this. Kathleen The best and peace😊
Hi Chris, what a great haul of beautiful items!!! You struck gold!! Enjoy your purchases ❤ would you tell me the designer name on your eyeglass frames? I would really appreciate it 😊
It's so funny that you asked me that because I just went to LensCrafters in Newington, CT a few days ago and they still have them in stock. They're made by Tiffany. I'm actually keeping my frames and having new lenses popped into them because I love my current frames so much.
Oh my goodness, I can't remember and I don't have it written down anywhere. The estate sale was at least two days. I apologize that I can't provide more info!
Love the white stove. We had a green Glenwood in our kitchen growing up. Love the memories.
The slag glass art nouveau lamp is everything! Fabulous!
I'm so glad you liked it! It was love at first sight - I couldn't pick it up fast enough.

Haha, you are hilarious Kris! What you did with the curtains is exactly what I would have done! I love your videos and personality 😊
I'm so glad you approve of my decision! I felt a bit silly going back so soon, but I couldn't risk losing the fabric!

Yayyyy so glad you got the curtains . I would have absolutely purchased them. Great video.
Thank you! I can't wait to use them in my bedroom makeover project!
Love love love the pillows. But what great deals you got on all of it!
Thank you! It was a great estate sale. I was a negotiating wild woman! 🤣🤣
Great estate sale! The brass container was nice. I also liked the Delft pieces, the Art Nouveau lamp, and the curtains were absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you! The owner had excellent taste - I would have liked to have brought everything home with me!
Love that sale Kris! Great finds 🤩
Thanks Laura! I loved yours as well!

I'm so glad to hear it! Thank you for leaving me such a kind comment! 💕💕
I love seeing you, your fur babies and your beautiful home. 🌹
Thank you so much! I very much appreciate the kind comment! 💕💕
Those pillows would look great with the curtains..just a thought! As always, great video!
You're absolutely right! Thanks for the idea!
You could also use the beautiful lace table cloths as bed covers
That would look so beautiful - especially in the summer. Thanks for the idea!
@@WorthingtonHome you are very welcome😊

I'm so glad you agree with my decision to go back - I just couldn't bear the thought of missing out on them. So much beautiful fabric!
As always love your videos great job ❤
Thank you so much for saying so - it means the world to me!

That porcelain wood stove!!!
I played Phoenix in the local Pathmark supermarket in the late 70's! It was a stand-up version and not the table.
I hope Eric's purchase brought back some fun memories for you!
That beautiful large bowl with handles looks like it could have been a trophy at some hunting event or horse show. Beautiful.
Thank you! I was so happy to find it - I missed it the first few times I went through the house and I'm so glad I didn't go home without it.
Good Morning! WOW, what a fabulous estate sale. You definitely struck gold! I LOVE everything you found, but I have to admit; destructo kitty is my fav!
Haha! Destructo kitty is so stinking cute, I agree! 😸😸💕💕

Thank you for the information and the appreciation for my haul! I love to find Baldwin for good prices when I can.
I say leave those tassels on the cabinet - they look fabulous there!❤
I'm so glad you like them there - the colors are so perfect for the dining room.
I would have gone back for the panels too🤣🤣
I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only person who would do that! 🤣🤣
Love everything you found! I would have done the exact same thing and gone back to get the draperies!!😀
I'm so glad to hear it. I felt a bit silly, but I'd rather feel silly than regret not going back.
Hi Kris, just wanted to say your pillows were done with round yo-yos. I have made them into necklaces for my club members too.
I bet that looks fantastic! Are they hard to make?
Love your videos. That Crochet looking tablecloth is beautiful. How will you ever keep Indy and Iris away?
I'm so glad to hear that you love my videos! They usually leave tablecloths alone. However, anything placed on top of the tablecloth is probably a goner.

I'm sorry if it was difficult to get ahold of me. Thank you for the information and clarification!
wow/you got some nice things/I wish i was in that car with you//lol/god bless you//have a nice fall weekend//
Thank you! I was so giddy when I found the curtains after my second trip (as you could tell from the video)!
Brass urn I would like to know how much it cost? Love it!!!! 😊❤️
I'm glad you like it! I'm planning to keep it, but if I ever change my mind and decide to sell it, I'll definitely let you know!

I believe the brass "bowl" is called an "urn".
I think you're right. That's what I'm calling it from now on! Thanks for the info!
❤
I would have gone back too
Thank you for validating my decision! I couldn't take the chance that they would be out of my life for good!
@@WorthingtonHome i wish i could send you the pictures of the Limoge i got for free
@@lauramulcahy1963 you were very fortunate to pick up free Limoges! I'm so jealous!
I live in North Haven and wondering where this estate sale was? Can you share the info and was the sale for only one day?
Oh my goodness, I can't remember and I don't have it written down anywhere. The estate sale was at least two days. I apologize that I can't provide more info!
Is it a brass urn?
I think that's exactly right. Why couldn't I think of the word when I was filming? 🤷♀🤷♀
